Do you know how does the water come to your home? It travels through water pipes. Some are long and wide but some are short and narrow. Then the water travels through the water pipes to the reservoirs. Then it travels through the water pipes to the river and to the special factories that purify the water. When the water is purified, we can drink it. Please dont leave garbage in the water on which we line, and keep the water clean.

你知道水是如何来到您的家吗?它穿越水管。有些是长而宽的，但有些是短而细的。然后通过水管到达水库。然后通过河流和专门用来净化水的工厂。当水净化后，我们可以喝它了。请不要丢垃圾到水中，因为水是我们的生命线，我们要保持水的清洁。

就是因为它拥有水源。科学证明，人一星期不吃东西还能存活，而缺了水却不能生存。禾苗、花草、树木没有水的滋润，就要枯萎，动物离开了水，就会灭亡。汽车缺了水无法在高速公路上奔驰。有时候一滴水就能取决于一个人的生死。所以无论是生活用水、生产用水、农田灌溉，水都与我们的生活息息相关。

球上的水源似乎去取之不尽，但是你知道吗，地球上的水虽然很多很多，据估计水的总体积约为13.8亿立方公里。如果将这些水平均分布于地球表面，相当于地球整个表面覆盖着一层平均深度为2650米的水。但是十分可惜，这些水98%是咸水，主要分布在海洋中。淡水只占地球水总量的2%，约有3000万立方公里，而这2%的淡水也不能全为人类所应用，因为它的88%被冻在两极的冰帽和冰川里，剩下的12%即河流、湖泊和能开采的浅层地下水才可为人类应用，其中绝大多数又为地下水，不开采不能应用，可直接应用的河流湖泊中的水，只占淡水总量的0.04%。地球上的水，总是处在变化之中，海洋和陆地上的水蒸发到大气中，再形成雨或雪落回大地，滋养万物，补充河流、湖泊或注入大海。水还会渗入地下，汇入地下蓄水层。极深的地下水不能补充，也不能开采，被称为原生水，因而不能再生。正因为水资源的这种流动性质，因而形成陆地的水涝或干旱，造成水资源分布不均衡。所以，地球上可供我们饮用的水资源非常非常的少，大家可一定要珍惜每一滴水!

中国的人均淡水资源占有量却是世界平均水平的四分之一，居世界第121位，是世界13个严重贫水国家之一。我的眼前不停地闪动着这些触目惊心的数字，我终于明白了水的重要。回想起自己种种浪费水的情景，不由的面红耳赤。

珍惜生命之水——这是人人皆知的。怎样珍惜?珍惜水源，从我做起，珍惜身边的每一滴水，也是珍惜自己的生命。6月5日为世界水环境日，我要和同学们一起饮水思源——永远记住我们的生命的源泉——水。

地球上的水资源危在旦夕，而我们人类的生命也受到了严重的威胁!我在这而呼吁大家：一定要珍惜水资源!保护地球水资源，保护人类的家园!
