The Summer Palace is a classic composition of ancient royal gardens, and the Forbidden City is the largest royal palaces in the world. Tiantan is where the emperor used to fete their ancestors, and also the soul of Chinese ancient constructions. The four sites above has been confirmed world cultural heritage by UNESCO. However, the best representatives for Beijing are the vanishing Hutongs and square courtyards. Through hundreds of years, they have become symbol of Beijings life. Tiananmen square being still brilliant today with cloverleaf junctions and skyscrapers everywhere, the old-timey scene and modern culture are combined to present a brand new visage of Beijing.

As Beijing has been confirmed home city of Olympics 2008, the spirit of "green Olympics, scientific Olympics and humanized Olympic" will surely bring more and more changes to Beijing, promote the development of sports and Olympics in China as well as in the world, and strengthen the friendly communications between Chinese and foreign people.

我们班的英语老师长得美丽极了！

她有一头深棕色的长发，总是扎个马尾辫，露出自己的刘海，青春靓丽、精神抖擞。她的眼睛大大的、亮亮的、水灵灵的，如宝石一般闪亮，还有一张樱桃小嘴，如果再配上大红裙和高跟鞋的话，简直就是仙女下凡。

可是“仙女”也有时候会被我们班几个调皮捣蛋的男孩弄生气，“仙女”生气的时候，她的双眼瞪得如瓶盖一般大，盯着这位同学，但还是会用温柔的语气告诉他怎么做才是对的。

“仙女”多才多艺，有时候会做一些有趣的小手工，有时候会唱英文歌曲，她的歌声如百灵鸟一般动听，有时候她还会和我们一起做课堂小游戏……其中最令我难忘的是一次课本剧表演。“仙女”老师让我们表演大课文，我们四个同学为一组，我是售货员，小叶是迈克，小徐是蒂姆，小陈是海伦，大陈是熊猫。我们反复练习，互相纠正读音，轮到我们时，大家表现得非常认真，可我掉链子说错了一句。表演完我主动指正了自己的错误，同学们还是给了我们最高的三星。“仙女”老师温柔地对我们说：“你们表演的非常棒，虽然读错了一个，可小黄同学主动指正自己的错误，所以我给他们三星，大家也要向他学习，勇于承认错误，努力改正错误。”听着“仙女”老师的评价，我当场高兴得跳了起来，回到座位上，仍然心跳加速，我暗暗地鼓励自己“没有最好，只有更好！”

现在，大家都知道吧！这就是我最喜欢的英语老师“茅老师”，她也是一位美丽温柔的仙女。

一生中总有那么一个人让你刻骨铭心，总有那么一个人让你记忆犹新。鲁迅有藤野先生，海伦有莎莉文老师，而我有李老师。

李老师是我的小学老师，她是我从记事以来认识最早的一位老师。而此前那几位幼儿园的老师却不怎么记得清，或许是记性不好的缘故吧，也或许是他们对我没有太大的影响吧。

李老师是一名幽默风趣的老师，李老师性格开朗，给人的印象一项是和蔼可亲的。但李老师也同时是一位普通的老师，因为有时她也生气，甚至批评起学生来十分严厉。

记得曾经有一次不知是什么原因，他对班里的一个男生发了脾气，很是生气。那场景像一幕电影一样，而且是那种无声电影，老师在讲台上黑着脸，嘴一张一合，不时飞出几朵浪花，全班同学几乎低着头，看惯了平时满脸笑容的老师，今天这位讲台上演讲的人顿时令我感到无比的陌生，可怕。虽然训的并不是自己，但是我的手却是一直冰冷冷的，紧紧的握着，像是看了多么刺激的电影一样紧张。

李老师风趣幽默，开朗的性格是她给我的第一印象，同时也一直影响着我。同时，她也有着正常人的性格变化，也让我知道了：其实每个人都很普通平凡。

Its Sunday today. I got up early and did my homework on the table. All of a

sudden I remembered the mothers day, a picture of my mind, remembering a past

thing that moved me.

Thats the case. After coming home from school that afternoon, my mother came

back. I found that my mother was very tired, his eyes were squinting, and I

yawned. So she sent me to do my homework at home. But I felt very sad to see my

mother working so hard, so I decided to share the housework for my mother. I

began to pick up the stuff in my home, first fold the newspaper, and then the

glass was cleaned.

I put the glass on the pot filled with water, and then picked up the cloth, a

brush up. I found a little dirty in a cup, and I took some detergent to wash it.

Suddenly, the cup from the hand slipped, piercing sound startled me. I hastened

to pick up the pieces of glass on the floor. At this time, I found that my

mother was standing in front of me, and she said, "dont pick up the pieces with

your hands. Let me come." I stood up and bowed my head embarrassed and said,

"Im sorry, mom, Im too careless." I thought: this must be closed. Mother

pack up, you go out and watch TV. " Mothers words are very gentle, but make me

more difficult, unwittingly I cry.

Looking back on this, I felt very warm. It told me that maternal love is

We have a good English teacher whose name is Bruce。 He comes from Britain and he is about forty years old。 He is a tall and thin person， wearing a pair of glasses which makes him more like a gentleman。

He is strict with us。 He often makes full preparations for his class and corrects our homework carefully。 His teaching style is very unique， because he is used to encouraging all of us to think by ourselves and study on our own。 The relationship between Bruce and us is harmonious。 He is so kind and friendly that every student likes him and respects him deeply。

Our teacher is so excellent that we all love him very much。

我们这一个学期，换了一位新的英语老师，他姓许。

初见时，只见他西装革履，器宇轩昂，嘴下有颗痣，算不上帅气，也算不上貌丑。可我一见他就心生厌恶，也说不出为什么。

外表也就那样了，但不得不说他确实是位好老师，讲课细致，该记的笔记也会特别尽心尽责地书写在黑板上。规定要背的内容他会全盘监督，可以说是十分之一丝不苟了。

早就听说许老师很严厉，真正接触他之后便发现，这位老师的严厉之中还是有几分平易近人的，不是人们想象中的那种恶魔。

最后不得不说的是许老师的字了。他常说：“字如其人。”甚至特地为此给我们上过一节课。但是他自己的字着实令叶某（我）不敢恭维。笔画相连，说白了就是连笔字，说是连笔字还算是美化，其实就是潦草，很多时候都极难辨认。抄笔记的我们着实是叫苦连天！

Last year, I went to Guilin for travel. On the train, I felt so bored. A

girl who sat next to me was reading a book, which caught my attention. I asked

her about the book, I found that I had read it before and then we discussed

about the novel. We talked happily, when the train arrived, we got off together.

When we got aparted, we promised to keep in touch. We communicated by the

computer. Now a year has passed, we become good friends and I miss her all the

time. She is a genuine friend. I plan to go to Guilin again and then we will

meet.
