My best festival is Spring Festival. It is in Janurary or February. It is the most important festival for the Chinese people. On that day everybody dresses up. First they extend greetings to their parents. Then each child will get money as a New Year gift, wrapped up in red paper.

People in northern China will eat jiaozi, or dumplings, for breakfast, the shape of the dumpling is like gold ingot from ancient China. I have a great time during the winter holiday, because I enjoy myself as well as focus on my study. greatest projects in the world.

Its not only the cultural heritage, but also a symbol of China. "Its

glorious." I think. It looks like a big dragon running across the mountainous

area. It starts Shanhaiguan in the east to Jiayuguan in the west.Its so long that nobody can walk from the beginning to the end.It was firstly built in Qin Dynasty and prolonged in Ming and Qing

dynasties.It was used to protect the enemies from invading in the past, but now it

has become the place of interest which attracts so many tourists both at home

and abroad.

When I was standing on the top of the Great Wall, I felt as if I were in

ancient days.

I could see many laborers working very hard. How could they finish this

我的家乡在吉林省梅河口市，城市不算大，但却是个美丽的城市，也有着浓厚的风土人情。下面我就来介绍一下我家乡的端午节吧！

每年在端午节快到的时候。大街小巷到处都是卖五彩绳和纸葫芦的小摊，到处洋溢着浓浓的节日气氛。妈妈给我买了两个五彩绳，那上面还带着两个金黄色的小铃铛，发出“叮呤呤”的声音。我非常喜欢。

农历五月，青草长满了家乡的山野，在那淅沥的小雨中，端午节悄悄走来了。清晨，爸爸早早就把纸葫芦和艾蒿挂在了我家的门上，妈妈还在屋里挂了一个大葫芦呃！我好奇的问妈妈：“为什么要在家里挂葫芦呢？”妈妈说：“以前听老人们说过，挂葫芦能保平安和健康”。虽然有些迷信，但是它却有着美好的心愿。

今天，家家都吃着香甜可口的大粽子，我也不例外，向妈妈要了钱，买了一袋大粽子。关于粽子还有一个传说呢！

两千多年前，楚国有位大官叫屈原，他非常爱国，可是当时的楚国国君不听他的意见，还把他贬官流放。后来秦国攻占了楚国。屈原眼看着自己的祖国被侵略，心如刀割，但是始终不忍舍弃自己的祖国，在五月初五那天，抱石投入了汨罗江，以自己的生命谱写了一曲壮丽的爱国主义乐章。

千百年过去了，每到农历的五月初五，吃粽子，以纪念伟大的屈原，端午节吃粽子的习俗就这样流传下来了。

家乡的端节节虽然没有南方赛龙舟的场面壮观，但是却有着浓浓乡情。我喜欢家乡的端午节。

My friends asked me why. I told them my story. When I was a small boy I was very weak. Once I was terribly iii. I had a high fever. My parents sent me to the hospital but the doctors could do nothing for me. then my parents heard there was a very good doctor in another town. they took me there. I was saved.

In recent years, studying abroad has been popular in our country. More and more middle school students would like to go abroad through mediators. Is it good or bad to study abroad? In my opinion, on one hand, it has some advantages. Studying abroad can provide better studying conditions. People can make rapid progress in their foreign language study and it can also help widen their field of vision. Meanwhile, young students can learn advanced science and technology from foreign countries and spread cultures of different nations.

On the other hand, it has disadvantages. For example, because of the lack of living experience and poor capability to take care of themselves, they may feel lonely and homesick. In addition, high living expenses and tuition fees will become a heavy burden upon their parents.

So I think whether studying abroad or not should be decided according to oneself and ones family. It is not right to follow others.
