Why We Need to Learn English?

English is familiar to most people, because nearly every student in school has to learn English. It is a compulsory course in most schools. Why we have to learn English? 大部分人都很熟悉英语，因为几乎每个学生在学校里都要学习英语。在大部分学校英语都是必修课。我们为什么要学习英语?首先，英语是世界通用的语言。几乎每 个国家都在使用英语，包括中国。如果我们想在中国赢得一个好地位，我们就得学习英语。此外，学习英语在找工作的时候可以为我们提供更多机会。随着中国的发 展，我们有更多的机会去和外国人一起工作或者为他们工作。更重要的是，学习英语有助于我们建立信心。学到的知识越多我们就会越有自信。

从小学到初中都在学英语，教过我的英语老师也有好几个，但只有一个老师让我印象深刻——他就是许英茂老师。

许老师打扮得整齐、干净，挺帅气的。大部分时间都是穿西装，很少见他穿休闲装。

上课时，他要么踮起脚尖，要么双手放在肚子前。千万不要在他面前搞小动作，他的脸异常严肃，这只是轻微的；严重的话，保佑你不会给他罚死。

许老师要求严格，没有完成作业就去跑步，没有背书就不许吃饭（其实只是把你留到半个小时后就把你放走了），上课迟到就要站着上课，至于其他的处罚，像上下蹲、100个兔子、100个鸭子步、100个……许老师说：“你犯的次数越多，每次就越会往上増。”

我觉得这样挺好的，反正罚的又不是我，不过我也得小心了，否则下一个就可能是我自己。

想想上个学期，我一篇英语课文都没背，甚至连一个单词都没有认真记，现在他让我们把每个单元的unit1、unit2都背下来，每个单元的单词都要背下来，还要听写，呃……这简直是……唉！不知道该怎么说，也只好乖乖认命背书吧。

但是我觉得这样挺好的。

许老师也许偏爱草书吧，他的字迹……就像几根线缠在一起，他写的板书有些看得懂，有些看不懂，但也只能硬着头皮上，不然，没有笔记交上去，他要找你去谈谈人生。

我的英语老师非常年轻，应该是我所有的老师中最年轻的老师了，她好像毕业没有几年，就来到了我们学校，而且我们可能是她的第一批学生呢！英语老师姓康，讲课绘声绘色，我们都觉得她是一个好老师。

康老师讲课有好多特点，我一个一个讲给你们听。第一个特点就是发音标准。康老师的英语发音特别标准，而且非常柔和，谁听了都觉得好听。妈妈说在康老师的影响下，我的英语发音也比以前标准了。

第二点就是先进。康老师好像是八零后，所以喜欢用幻灯片配合着讲课，我感觉这样学的更快乐。而且康老师还有配套的光碟。在动画中学课文，我感觉更有兴趣。

特点三是善于互动。康老师特别善于与我们互动，几乎每节课都会做几个小游戏，使得课堂中中充满欢乐。

特点四是吸引人。康老师讲课为什么吸引人呢？因为老师还喜欢用肢体配合。比如学大熊猫这个单词，老师就会一边念着单词，一边学大熊猫的样子，这样，我们也容易明白。

还有一个特点，康老师讲课、布置作业都比较宽松。比如别的老师都是布置这篇文章读几遍，而康老师则是规定读熟，在读几遍的地方画一条横线，我们自己决定，这样，我们应该是心理上感觉少一些。

康老师已经教了我们两年了，在这两年中，也发生了许许多多的事情，可能我对老师的评价随着时间在变化。但是有一点是可以肯定的：康老师是我见过的最好的英语老师了。师恩难忘，我会牢记在小学教了我们好几年的康老师。

我们班的老师在讲课的时候都讲的栩栩如生，然而在上下课时却非常的“慢”。例如：今天上午第四节课是语文课，可是上课的铃声过去了许久，还是不见老师的身影。不知问自己多少次“为何黄老师也慢了，真闹心！”就在这时，班上的捣蛋鬼唐某和赵某在教室里打起了口水仗，他们你一句我一句的，听的我儿朵都要长茧子了。

终于，班长到办公室叫老师了，可班长给我的结果简直是晴天霹雳——上数学。随之，数学老师迈进了教室，我们只好无可奈何地拿出了数学书。

我们班的老师除了一个“慢”还在占课，这可就要数“Einglishmiss张小姐”——英语老师了。

太好了，这节课是电脑课，又可以痛痛快快的玩一节电脑了，心里正在美滋滋地想着，可英语老师的出现让我有点无语……老师却笑盈盈的对我们说：“今天没电了，上英语课，”我们全班同学几乎倒下。

我希望老师可以按时上课，给我们一个好的学习心态。

They claim that making friends online has many advantages compared to communicate with each other in face to face. For instance, making friends online can communicate with our friends at any time to strengthen our relationship and save a lot social resources. And we can keep in touch with our friends when we have no time to visit them in person. They also point out that making friends online provides a good chance for us to communicate with people from different social backgrounds and cultures. In other words, making friends online can broaden our horizon and widen our personal relationships. In addition, it also makes contribution to narrow our gap in area and culture.

My vacation was very interesting. I did my homework on first day. I played table tennis on second day. I watched TV on the third day. I went shopping on the fourth day. But I liked my going shopping best.

On Sunday, I went to a shopping center with my mother. The shopping center wasnt far from my home. It took us about ten minutes to get there on foot. The shopping center was very big. There were all kinds of things. Every day a lot of people go there to buy things. It opens at eight in the morning and closes at nine at night. Now, I was helping my mother buying things. I had a shopping list in my hand. We were looking for things on the shopping list. After staying in the shopping center for about two hours, we got all the things and walked home.

Our school, which was set up in 1945, lies in the south of Changchun City. It is famous in our city.

It has 24 classes. 8 classes in each grade. The number of the students and teachers adds up to over 2,000. In the front of the school stands a high classroom building, behind which is a lab buiding. We have many of our chemistry and biology classes in it. Between them is a new library built 3 years ago. There are a large number of books there. After lunch a number of students like reading there.

On the right there is a football field and two basketball courts. They are our favorite places in our spare time. It is said that a swimming pool will be built to the left.

Our school is big and beautiful, covered with green trees and colorful flowers. Many piople call it a garden school. It’s really a good place for us to study in.
