她是我小学的数学老师，只教过我半年，我甚至不知道她叫什么，只记得她长得小巧玲珑，又姓肖,大家都叫她：“小老师”。

五年级的数学并不难，但那时的我对数学怀有一种莫名的抵触感，尤其是应用题，一上课我就象坠入无边无际的云雾中。她就是在这云雾中飘进了我的生活。小老师第一次上课我就不幸地被叫了起来。在众目睽睽之下，我呆呆地站在那儿，脑子里一片空白，半天才支支吾吾说了些前言不搭后语的话。我低着头，脸涨得通红,紧张的空气压得我有点喘不过气来。可恶的应用题，我多么希望下课铃赶快打响呀！

几十秒钟令人窒息的沉默后，“小老师”忽然笑着对大家说：“这道题我刚才也忘了怎么做，在董媛同学地提醒下，我想起来了。董媛，我们一起来完成这道吧！”和她一起完成这道题时，主要步骤还是由她来作，她有意只给我留下一些不太复杂的计算。每当我算对时，她总是大声地说：“很好！”，好象生怕有人听不见的。终于完成了，我如释负重地坐下了，感激地望着她。我们的目光正好碰到了一起，她露着润白的牙齿冲我一笑，嫩白的脸上那深深的酒窝，就象两朵雪白的百合花。

从那一天起，我在她的课上听得格外认真，生怕漏掉了一个字；从那一天起，我的数学作业写得工工整整；从那一天起，我每晚拼命做数学题，多么希望下一次她叫我回答问题时，我可以答得出来。

一次课堂练习我得了85分，改完错后，交给她。她仔细地帮我分析了错因，并夸我改错认真，然后在85的后面写上了+15，微笑着对我说：“100分！下次要继续保持呀！”她的笑容真得很美，我使劲地点了点头。也许当时我数学很少得100分吧，这件事让我兴奋了好几天。

渐渐地我对数学有了兴趣，成绩也一次比一次好。她经常在我的作业本和卷子上批上“很好”“加油”等鼓励的话。期末考试，我真的以100分回报了她。那天，她给我发试卷时笑得特别甜。

第二学期开学她不教了，我四处打听，但谁也不说她去哪了，只说她不教了。

后来，在我小学毕业那一年的教师节，我听以前的老师说她半年前死于肺癌！我顿时感到了秋风的悲凉，落叶的忧伤……

以后每一次教师节回母校，我都要在楼下望望她以前的办公室，二楼左边数第三个。而每一次泪水都模糊了我的眼睛……

I would like to thank you for all the help you gave me during this past semester. You were alway so patient when I asked you questions. You listened to them carefully and explained everything so thoroughly. You showed me different ways to practice and remember new words and usage. I felt so encouraged and became more comfortable in speaking English. You made the excercise so interesting that I was always very eager to participate and practice. My English has improved so much. How could I thank you enough?! I cannot wait to take your class next semester and keep working on my English.

Time came slowly to the Qingming time.

The afternoon of April 3rd, our school organized a class five and class together to worship the martyrs cemetery. Walking into the cemetery, looking around, surrounded by mountains, quiet and silent. Finally, we put the paper flowers in front of the stone tablets and leave them together. The whole process is somewhat solemn and heavy. Returning to school, my mind is always relaxed and depressed. Whenever I think of that stone tablet and think of the soldier who is sleeping underground, there will be a lot of sadness and weakness. Todays life is because of them, we can live so happily.

Qingming Festival is the traditional festival of our nation. At this time, everyone will pay homage to their loved ones or martyrs. In this Qingming Festival, we can do too little or too little. Only hope that we can use a sincere heart to face our elders and martyrs.
