接下来的环节就是放树苗了。看似简单的步骤其实并不简单。我和缪江灵跑到篱笆边想把樟树公主请到树坑里来，可看起来很轻的小树苗这时候却像一只大象那般的沉，光凭我俩根本不能将她抬来，最后在家人的帮助下连拖带拽才把她放进了坑中，并且尽量垂直。真是：任尔东西南北风，我自岿然不动。担负着光荣使命的小樟树果然分量不轻。

填土前爸爸拿过铁锹轻轻地敲打着刚刚挖出来的泥块，我们几只小手就忙不迭地拣去泥土中细碎的小石块等杂物。等所有的准备工作都完成了，我们就站在坑边，静静地看着爸爸一锹一锹地将细碎的泥土填进坑中，直至将树根淹没，将树坑填满。心里真是美滋滋。

这时候的小樟树已经在春风中迎风招展了，浑身上下散发着绿色的气息。可是别忘了还有最后的环节——浇水。我们打来一桶清甜的原生态水，虔诚地浇到小树的根部，“咕咚咕咚”仿佛听到小树贪婪地吞咽着，如饥似渴地吮吸着这生命的乳汁。不一会儿，一桶水就被小树喝光了。
