Ive been in my middle school for four years。 Four years school life plays an important role in my life。

Under this circumstance, I never expect my college life to be too ideal, or you can call it too perfect. It is not realistic to make all things on my own way, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on. Of course, I’d like to lead a carefree life. However, this does little good to my future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjust treatment. Only after experiencing those can I know what society is like, and what life is like.

To conclude my speech, I wanna say, some positive experiences are surely part of the ideal college life. But, I should not forget about the negative sides. They are not less necessary.

My School Life

How time flies! It has been three years since I came to the school. My school is beautiful and there are many beautiful flowers and trees. The teachers are so kind though there is always too much homework. My classmates are all very friendly to each other. We always help each other. I have learned a lot from them and made a lot of friends. I enjoy my school life. However, I dont do well in math. I’ll try my best to study math during the summer holidays. My happy Spring Festival After the New Year’s Eve dinner with my family, we began to sit down in front of the TV, and enjoyed 2008 CCTV Spring Festival gala. At about ten o’clock, the black sky was lightened by lots of fireworks with colorful light and happy sound. We stop watching the CCTV 2008 CCTV Spring Festival gala, and began to climb up the balcony to see the beautiful fireworks view, and my father took some fireworks up, and we also began to play fireworks. What a beautiful night. Later, my cell phone was ringing all the time. I received lots of short messages from my friends and classmates. They all blessed me happy New Year. I met my uncles and aunts, they all blessed us happy New Year and gave me red packets. I was too happy to count how many red packets I got. The following days, we visited my grandparents and some of relatives. We happily talk with them, and brought some presents to them, and also received some New Year presents. This was how did I spend my Spring Festival; I really enjoyed myself in Spring Festival.

The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my

homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in

time. And during my winter vacation, we welcome the most important festival in

China—Spring Festival, it’s also called Chinese New Year by lots of

foreigners.

At that night, our family came together and had a big meal. Of course we

had dumplings that night, because that is our Chinese traditional. We then watch

the CCTV spring festival evening party together and watch the beautiful

fireworks. That’s the happiest time in this world! The winter vacation I had

dreamed all year around was finally coming. And I really enjoyed a lot from

it.

The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my

homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in

time. I also arranged myself the books and words I need to read and recite.

Secondly, I took some extracurricular activities and read some English original

reading. My favorite book is , written by Sherlock Holmes. Among all the

classical movies, the Sound of Music was the most exciting one. During my

holidays I also made some assistance for my physical class teacher, surely I met

lots of difficulties in this stage and from which I knew what perseverance

really was. Lastly, I went to the temple fair and was lucky to taste several

Chinese traditional dishes; “Jiaohua chicken” is one of them. It is said it

the senior leader of Beggar Gang.Steamed with fresh lotus leaf wrapped up,it is

famous for its special aroma and taste. Now that the holiday is ending and a new

semester is coming, I need to fresh up and get started to embrace the upcoming

challenges.

A recent period, I heard the word "low-carbon life". By reading a book, is a kind of low consumption, low carbon life low energy, low costs, thereby reducing carbon dioxide emissions way of life. 以前，我就每天把水拧到最大，洗手、洗脸每月都要耗水十几吨，现在，老师告诉我们要准备两个水桶，用来储存废水。废水可以用来冲厕所，拖地、浇花。用电也要节约，看完电脑或电视后，要把插座上的小红灯关掉，以便节约电源，尽量放假时白天写作业，晚上早关灯一小时，用那一小时的时间和家人散步。既节约了电源，又起到了减肥的作用，还增进了感情，真是一举多得呀!少用一次性物品(筷子、饭盒等)少用塑料袋，多用环保袋。出行最好步行，少开私家车，少做出租，多做公交车。这样就做到了“低消耗、低能量、低开支”的作用。

低碳生活，人人有责，让我先行，保护环境。
