放假的时候，我们一家人驱车去外婆家过节。

外婆家有一间宽敞的房屋。在屋旁，总有一片新绿衬着的瓜架。种着些丝瓜，或是些黄瓜，那些手掌型的叶子，绿得青翠，或浓或淡。长长的藤顺着竹架，蜿蜒地向上爬，一直到屋顶。现在的瓜架上虽然并没有那些青青的瓜，但也有着不同的风格。青绿的叶，弯曲的藤，给整个房子镶上了没有雕琢过的天然花边。这样的装饰可比城市中高楼门前的石狮子来得亲切、质朴多了。
