It was cooler than yesterday. One of my father’s friends invited me to eat red bayberries. You must know it is unusual. Because we will climb the hill to eat red bayberries. There is no chance to eat red bayberries in the hill for the people who don’t live in Beijing. On the hill, you can breathe the fresh air, you can listen birds singing and you can eat red bayberries. It was enjoyable. It is said there are wild pigs in the hill. What a beautiful natural.

January 22

Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on. It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time. Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high reputation, time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time. Although I have 50-day holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to do. I had a lot of homework to do and I had something necessary to do.

January 23

I have rested for 10 days. In these days, I felt very bored. I didn’t know to do what. Although I had a lot of things to do, I felt uncomfortable. I was ill because of the cold weather. I was tired, sleepy and had no strength. My parents are worried about my health. in fact, it didn’t matter. I was always in the room with air-conditioner and opened it in a low temperature. So when I went out, the high temperature disagreed to me. Finally, I was ill.

Recently, we have little time to keep close contact with nature. We spend

too much time on study or working. We almost forget that how green the grass is,

that we need to relax ourselves and go out to breathe more fresh air. We can

Such a movie called “Growing Pains” seems full of knowledge and experience.

So it does because all of us have growing pains and also growing gains in our

lives.

Growing up is not a very enjoyable time. It means I have to work hard in

studying and in family. There’s always so much homework given by teachers and so

many arguments between the parents and me. The time is fair, but it seems it

gives pains three quarters and only one quarter to gains.

But gains give me power and confidence. Successes and friendship make me

happy and enjoyable. We played with snow in the winter that seldom snows, we

flew kites in the night that usually belongs to homework, we ate several ice

creams that almost made us cold. We picked up leaven that no longer high up!

Although pains are always more than gains, I believe both of them make my

life more colorful.

夜深了，躺在柔软的床上，我辗转反侧，思绪万千。唉！多少天废寝忘食地啃书本，多少天夜以继日地做习题。多少天辛勤地耕种，却换来了今天的颗粒无收――“英才杯”综合竞赛我又名落孙山。我委屈，我不甘，这类事已不止一次地降临在我身上了。为什么我如此勤奋，却总是与竞赛奖牌无缘呢？

轻轻地推开门，一轮明月便映入我的眼帘。经历了半个月的“磨练”，此时的月亮显得更加圆满明亮。我叹了口气，我的“圆月”何时才能孕育而出呢？夜很静，轻柔的月光洒落在地面上，似乎都能听见声音。蓦地，我发现不远处有一团黄色，那不是月光的暗黄，也不是灯光的橘黄，而是一团显眼的金黄。走近细看，顿时，兴奋、诧异、激动充满了我的全身。种了三年貌似枯萎，一直都没有开花的仙人掌，并且我认为将永远不会开花的仙人掌，在今天居然绽放了一朵鲜艳的金黄色的小花。

初开的小花静静地躺在柔和的月光中，金黄色的花瓣柔嫩得像婴儿的皮肤。花瓣包围着的，还有一根根细而长的花蕊，也是金黄色的，精神抖擞地站立着。花朵被仙人掌托得很高，在月光下就像是一颗天上下凡的星星，一颗最耀眼的星星。

不知道为什么，心中突然产生了一种愧疚。我曾经对这株仙人掌是多么地失望，差点想把它扔掉。三年来，仙人掌忍受了我对它冷漠的眼神，也许还忍受了蜂蝶对它不开花的嘲讽，默默地，默默地在风雨中，在阳光里，积蓄着力量，终于在今天一齐迸发，孕育出如此艳丽的花朵。

If so， should we complain about our life and become frustrated and disappointed ever since then or should we be grateful for our life， rise again ourselves after a fall? William Thackeray， a famous British writer， said， “Life is a mirror. When you smile in front of it ， it will also smile and so will it when you cry to it.” If you are grateful to life， it will bring you shining sunlight. I think we should even be grateful to life whenever we are unsuccessful or unlucky. Only by doing this can we find our weakness and shortcomings when we fail. We should treat our frustration and misfortune in our life in the other way just as President Roosevelt did. 我以前是一个丢三落四的女孩，每次都是妈妈提醒我：“检查一下吧，说不定漏东西了。”却从来不帮我。时间一长，我就觉得厌烦了：“知道了。”记得那一次，我想偷懒一下，胡乱翻了几下就算了。

到了第二天，事情就来了，眼看要上数学课了，可是我我将桌肚翻了个底朝天，半天都没有找到数学书，怎么办呀，我急得像热锅上的蚂蚁，皱眉咬唇：“家里离这里很远，再说妈妈工作忙，肯定不知道我把书掉在家了，知道了也没空呀。她送书会上班迟到的。”我失望的叹了一口气，看来她不会来了。此时心里是满腔的后悔和酸涩，后悔没听母亲的活，真是不听母亲言，吃亏在眼前呀。我现在仿佛在冷风中，一副无助的样子，身体冷得瑟瑟发抖。晶莹的泪已经夹在眼睛里，说不定何时就会掉下来，我多么期望妈妈能够出现，回头望了望钟表，听着秒针的走动声，急切又从心底腾起。眼睁睁的望着时间流逝，黑暗的幕布，遮住了我的双眼。但厄运挡也挡不了，老师终究来了，望着老师的脸，我是多么恐惧，不由的将头低下去，真想一下子长双翅膀，飞出教室，飞回家中;真想时间能够倒流，让我仔细检查好包，我知错了呀，可是来不及了，眼泪像断了线的珍珠，一下子便滑落了下来，顺着脸颊落到了桌上，我偷偷的哭，不敢出声，望着桌子，脑子里空洞洞的，像块石头，只知道泪止不住了。

还是抬头面对吧，我擦干眼泪，抬起头来，一下子就惊住了，一张熟悉的脸映入眼帘，妈妈，是你！那脸是多么慈祥，她笑着，手里拿着我的数学书，我也笑了，心里有吃惊、欣喜，也有激动，但更多的是感动。刚才的我一下子变得开心了，红晕泛在了我的脸上，不知为什么，我又哭了，我扑上前去，抱住了妈妈……

车停了，已到家门口，这时我不由得看着妈妈。妈妈的皱纹深了，因为她把美丽的青春给了我；妈妈的手粗了，因为她把温暖的关怀给了我……我感恩妈妈，因为母爱似海，给了我一个幸福的港湾！

The walls are white and blue. The curtains are blue too. There is a big

window on the wall, so my bedroom is also very bright. There are some photos on

the wall. They’re very beautiful.

In the middle of the room, there is my bed. It’s not so big, but it’s very

comfortable. Every night, I lay on the bed and have a good dream.

On the right of the bed, there is my desk and chair. They’re in front of

the window. My computer is on the desk. There is a lamp on the desk, too. I can

do my homework here and play computer games.

My bookshelf is on the left of the bed. There are a lot of storybooks and

picture books in the shelf. I like them very much.

Not everyone has a bedroom. I’m very lucky, because I have a very beautiful

bedroom. I’ll try my best to keep it clean and tidy.

我还记得有一次，我弹琴感到很烦，甚至不想弹了!我和妈妈说了，我妈妈鼓励我说：“你已经学了这么长时间，你丢了难到不觉得可惜么·再说了，你多学一样本领也是为你好呀!音乐可以陶冶人的情操，可以提升你的素质!”我听了妈妈的话，点了点头，一直坚持到了现在!目前我已经顺利的通过了5级考试了!我想：我可能会成为和贝多芬一样同等名声的音乐家呢!

爸爸妈妈，我要感激你们给予我生命，让我来到大千世界，当我一岁的时候，你们教我走路，让我迈开了人生的第一步;当我一岁半的时候，你们教我说话，使我知道怎么用语言表达自己的想法;当我二岁的时候，我会跑、会跳，还会背一些唐诗宋词，已经是个活泼可爱的小才女了，这都要归功于我的爸爸妈妈，是他们教会我许多本领。现在我已经是五年级的学生了，是个有思想、有抱负的女孩子，我懂得了爱、知道了感恩!我已经会用自己的力量来报答父母亲了! Hometown is the place where a person belongs. Chinese people have special

feelings about their hometown. No matter where they go, they won’t abandon it

and always make some time to visit. My hometown brings me so many happy memories

and I wish it could keep its original face forever.

Two years ago, I lived in my hometown. It is a small village, so people

there get familiar with each other. When we walked on the country road, everyone

smiled when we saw each other. There was no distance for us. In the daytime, I

liked to go boating in the small river with my friends, or sometimes I could

catch fish. The green trees around me and I could hear the birds singing all the

time. It was a paradise for me.

However, even the small paradise can’t avoid being polluted seriously. The

environment is no more clean, the river becomes smaller and the water is so

dirty. When I see this, I feel so pity. If we lose the clean land, how can we

survive for long. Protecting the environment is in need.

When i was in high school, I had to study all the time and hardly had spare

time to do what i wanted to.Besides, I had to focus on my textbooks and doing

exercise again and again. Therefore, I had little time to read magazines and

novels and watch TV. what was worse, I couldnt play with my friends a lot, which

I couldnt stand the most. In a word, all i did in high shool should be

considered for the College Entrance Examination.

However, my college life is totally different from the life in high

school.I can arrange my time freely. I spend most of my time reading in the

library, where I can open my eyes and broaden my mind.In my free time, I also

join some clubs,where i can make a lot of friends of different majors. My

teachers in college are so kind and knowledgeable that they not only teach us

knowledge but also how to be a person and how to get on with others. In

addition, there are more opportunities for me to improve myself.

I believe college life is an important stage in my life. In college, i can

learn how to learn by myself, how to get on with others, how to live

independently.College provides me with a stage where i can show myself and be

myself.
