我的家乡是一个美丽的地方，他的名字是阿城，这原来是一个老旧的城市。但是它这几年的变化出乎我的意料之外

俗话说得好：“千年盐都千般秀，半城青山半城楼。”说的就是我美丽的`家乡——自贡。自贡有着悠久灿烂的历史，“盐之都、龙之乡、灯之城”等美誉。这几年，自贡的变化真是翻天覆地，整个城市都换上了一件新衣。

自贡的老城区，有着一条美丽的釜溪河，（。）间隔了新、老城区。老城区的发展已是焕然一新。一幢幢拔地而起的高楼大厦之间有着一条条蜿蜒的柏油路，真是车水马龙。繁华的五星街，更是热闹非凡，设备齐全的千盛百货超市，更是为人们的生活带来了不少的方便。那恐龙博物馆里的化石，则是历史的见证。

来到新城区，更是盛世在延，热闹非凡。从老城区沿着簸米湾道路进入阿城新区，一个十字路口，围绕着一个圆弧地面栽植着各种花草，挥动着舞姿向你招手。在弧中巍耸着一棵大柱子，它闪耀着灯这景象，二龙抱柱，真是活灵活现。这里还有能让你随心所欲的购物广场：人人乐、摩尔玛、九鼎……有五星级的锦江大酒店、还有各种高档餐厅、娱乐场所。在繁华的道路两侧的花花草草，如迎宾小姐一般喜迎着远方到来的客人。瞧，那棵棵高大威猛的白杨，如战士般挺拔，严肃。美丽的春华广场更是为新城区增添了不少的色彩。劳累了一天的人们，终于可以闲下来散散步、聊聊天。晚上，老人们挥动着优美的舞姿，真是老当益壮。小孩们则在一旁追逐打闹嬉戏玩耍。

十年前的阿城可以说是一片桑田，人迹罕至。今天的阿城焕然一新，用它那独特的魅力成为自贡的焦点。这变化真是大呀！

短短的十年时光，我们阿城区就有这么美丽、这么翻天覆地的变化，人们正朝着奔小康的目标前进。我相信再过几年，自贡就会成为一个更加美丽城市！

电视里经常播放着湖州的迷人风光，古色古香的房屋，干净整洁的街道，风风火火的商店，事实是不是这样呢?为了了解家乡环境，我对家乡的环境做了一下调查。调查的对象主要是工厂、河流、公共场所等。

一、 空气污染

在我们的家乡，空气污染已十分严重。例如：工厂排放的烟尘废气，汽 车、火车、轮船排放的烟尘废气，都含有许多对我们人体有害的物质，是空气的主要污染源。随着社会的进步，人们生活水平的不断提高，许多家庭中也有了各式的交通工具，如汽车、摩托车等，它们给我们的生活带来了方便，但是排出的废气却污染了我们周围的空气。

二、 水污染

在我们家乡的小河，几乎全都受到了污染。家庭中的脏水，这些都会流进附近的小河，给我们的生活带来了影响。鱼类难以生存，其他生物的繁殖生长也受很大影响。比如奶奶家门前的小河吧!听爸爸说以前的小河，河水清澈见底，他们常去捉小鱼。而现在我来到了河附近，看到的却是另一番景象，河水的两边堆满了垃圾，甚至在河中也漂着一些白色垃圾。河水又黑又浊，哪里还有个小鱼的影子呢?而且河中还发出臭味。这哪里还是清澈见底的小河，简直是个“臭水沟”。

三、噪音污染。

家乡的噪音污染也十分的严重。噪音能影响人们的生活和工作，对听觉和身心健康都有损害，还会影响少年儿童智力发展，影响我们的思考和学习。噪音的主要来源是工厂、街道、建筑工地、公共场所等。在大街上，汽车、摩托车喇叭的声音，以上的三种污染，对我们的正常生活会有很大的影响，如果继续这样下去，还会威胁着我们的身体健康，以及造成其它方面的损失。

I love my school so much, because of the beautiful environment. The first

day I walk into the school, I am very impressed by the green trees and the

colorful flowers. It seems that I just walk into a park and get lost in the

green world. The trees and flowers make me feel so comfortable, and my heart

feel the peace.

It is undeniable that the worsening environment has become the biggest concern of the present-day world. Land resources are dwindling because of water loss and soil erosion. Waste gases poison the air we breathe. The rivers and lakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from factories. It is probably no exaggeration to say that deterioration of the quality of the environment threatens the existence of mankind itself.

Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if peoples lives are adversely alfected by worsening environmental pollution ?

不可否认环境恶化已成为当今世界最大的问题。土地资源在不断减少,因为水土流失。废气污染着我们呼吸的空气。河流和湖泊被工厂的 倒出来的废弃物所污染。这可以毫不夸张地说,环境质量的恶化威胁着人类的生存。

有些人认为环境问题是我们因为经济发展而必须要付出的代价。但我不认为这种观点是有效的。毕竟,经济增长的重点是什么?如果人们的生活环境被日益恶化、被严重污染了，那还有什么意义?
