We have to admit that, comparatively speaking, our cities are not so clean and green as those in the developed countries. There are not adequate trees, lawns and flower-beds in such big cities as Beijing,Tianjin and Shanghai.

We should make our cities greener by planting more trees, grass and flowers. A green enviromnent can bring us pleasure, beauty and fresh air. Trees, lawns and flowers will make our cities more pleasing to both the eye and the mind, improve the weather conditions and provide fresh air, all of which will no doubt do us a lot of good.

I suggest that the whole city go all out every spring to plant new trees, build new lawns in and around the city, and everyone should take care of and protect the trees, lawns and flowers, and educate the children to love them. Then year after year, our cities will become greener, more beautiful and liveable.

福州既是我的家乡，又是一个美丽、繁华的城市。我们来看看一年四季福州的环境发生了怎样的变化吧!

春天，这是一个万物复苏的季节。树木抽出了新的枝条，上面挂满了嫩绿的叶子。草地里，小草渐渐地发芽了。燕子衔来刚刚发芽的小草和湿润的泥来搭它们的窝。

夏天，这是福州最美丽的季节。道路上绿树成荫，树都长得葱葱茏茏，叶子从嫩绿变成了翠绿的，远远望去，像是一把把翠绿色的大伞。在夏天，游泳可是福州人最热爱的运动。每天下午，这是福州最热的时候，温度可高达36度至39度。住在福州的人，都换上了泳衣、泳裤，迫不及待地跳下水了。

秋天，丰收的季节到来了。市场出现了许许多多的新水果：有黄澄澄的梨;有像紫色珍珠一样的葡萄;有像橙色小灯笼的橘子……真是琳琅满目，人们都争先恐后地来抢购。

冬天，福州越来越冷了。树上已经没有一片未落下来的叶子了。福州从23度降到了9度。快要过春节了，人们奔向商店，去买那香甜可口的年糕。各家各户都挂起了灯笼，贴上了春联，准备迎接新的一年了。

福州，真是一颗灿烂无比的明珠。

我们的家乡有了很大的变化。有地铁了，一幢幢高楼拔地而起，人口更多了，更热闹了……其中我最想介绍的就是我的学校。

还记得一年级刚开学的时候，一栋栋灰灰的教学楼，旧旧的格致楼。当一年一年过去后，有了很大的变化……灰灰的教学楼变成了一栋栋红白相间的、整齐的教学楼。操场变得更大了，跑道也变成了塑胶的……而且现在在的西校区教学楼的顶上还有一个钟，看起来优雅美丽。进了教室第一映入眼帘的就是一排排整齐的小柜子，那是给我们放一些书、工具等的东西，有了柜子，抽屉就不会向以前那样赛的满满的喽——我们再往前看，是一个大大的黑板，后面还藏着一块白板。而且每两栋教学楼之间还有一棵大大的桂树呢，在上课的时候就能闻到一股股桂花香。学校的变化真大呀！

时间过得真快呀，人们说的真对呀：“光阴似箭，日月如梭”〔U1〕，一转眼二十年过去了！在一次朋友聚会上，我们聊了聊自己的家乡，突然我想起了自己的家乡，二十年过回去了，不知道家乡怎么要了，我立刻坐公交车到火车站，买了一张火车票，就马上收拾东西准备回家乡

到了家乡，我大吃一惊〔U2〕，一看，原来房子旁边的庄稼，都成了高楼大厦、酒店、药店，我到了我家，一看我家怎么变了，这是不是我家呀，别在走错了，过了一会，过来一个人，我就问，这个是谁家，我一听，还真是我家，原来的旧房子，都变成新的了，没想到变化这么大。我一进家，发现我的在家的时候种了一棵石榴树，没了，我还在离开家乡的前一天的晚上，睡不着，就出来，在这刻石榴树下挖了一个大坑，把我珍藏很久的几十个一分钱埋到了石榴树下面。可是那棵石榴树已经没了，不知道那十几个一分钱还有没有，找了半天都没找到。

我又问妈妈，我的那只小乌龟还有没有，我一看我养的那一只小乌龟，不再是小乌龟了，成大乌龟了，比原来打了很多。

这二十年家乡的变化可真大呀，我都人不出自己的家在哪了！
