2032年，经过我多年的刻苦学习，终于当上了美国哈佛大学的一名顶级教授，身处异国的我决定去我日思夜想的祖国，我阔别已久的家乡度假。

哇!家乡的变化可真大。本来那条崎岖的小路不见了，变成了一条宽大的彩色马路。听妈妈讲，马路两旁不论春秋冬夏都绿树成荫、鲜花盛开、莺歌燕舞，马路上只可以走人(车子飞在空中)，生病的只要走过这条马路，病就好了，所以这条路又叫“医路”。

又来到童年捂着鼻子跑过的小溪了，我像往日一样捂住鼻子，做出冲的姿势，准备飞快地跑过。可刚要跑，妈妈一把拉住我的手(力气可真大)，说“别捂住鼻子，慢慢走。等会儿给你一个惊喜。”我便像三岁的小毛孩一样依偎在妈妈怀里，我一走上小溪上的石桥，就有一种腾云驾雾的感觉，像来到了人间仙境一般。小溪的水清澈见底，河面全年盛开着新品种——全彩荷花，意思是全年怒放的彩色荷花。那句古诗“接天莲叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样红”改成了“接天莲叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样‘彩’”。瞧，那里还有几条娃娃鱼在莲叶下捉迷藏!很快就到桥的尽头了，我真想再走一遍。

我们身边事物每天都在发生的变化，不管是人还是物，当然了，现在正在快速变化着的还有环境。我发现了我周围的环境正在发生一些变化。

以前，山非常绿，水非常清。只要走出家门，都能闻到非常新鲜的空气，不带任何杂味。可是现在呢?因为机动车的增多，排出大量二氧化碳，从而使得空气不再那么清晰，新鲜了。

过去，大家都爱护森林、树木，山就非常绿。走进山谷，简直是古木苍天，绿树成阴;挺凉快的。在公园里，没有人踏进草坪，更没有人乱丢垃圾。而现在，很多人无视法律，偷伐树木。使得山谷、森林中不在是绿树成阴，反倒是热的足以让人出汗的天气——烈日炎炎。公园里也好不了多少。进入公园，便会看见有许多人跨过护拦坐在草坪上或在草坪上走来走去，地上随处可见垃圾，更没有任何人把垃圾送回它们的家——垃圾桶。

Second,some people just go for economic interests instead of turning out products according to relevant law and regulations. They tend to use obsolete equipment in which they are more likely to emit a great deal of wasted air. Third,across our society,the awareness of protecting the environment has not built up so that people havent formed a habit of using green product and saving energy as much as possible. If we dont take action to show respect to the environment, we will have to face an increasingly awful situation.

Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve the environment. In my opinion, to protect the environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, people should be educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve our natural resources and recycle our products. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the policy of population into practice, because more people mean more pollution. Finally,laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforce strictly just as our government has been doing. 道路交通更加便利，小时候村里的路是土路，一到雨天就特别泥泞，村里的小道很窄，有的地方只能一个人可以通过，自行车都很难通过。晚上村子就陷入一片黑暗了，不用说什么路灯了。而且交通也不便利。在政府的补贴下和村民集体的建议下，从村里的主干路变成了水泥路，走得更方便了，雨天也不会泥泞了。村里的原来的小道也渐渐地被水泥道取代，扩宽了不少，别说自行车了，现在连小轿车都能通过，交通也便利了。

我的家乡在广东省西部的一个海滨城市——湛江市。湛江靠海，能经常吃到各种美味的海鱼。

如今开私家车的人越来越多了，早晨新鲜的空气被汽车排气管所排出的有害物质污染，随着汽车数目的增长，树木也深受其害，渐渐地都枯萎了。还有那些工厂所排出的黑烟，原本湛蓝澄澈的天空，变得灰蒙蒙，那一朵朵洁白无瑕的白云，也因为黑烟而跑远了，那一只只可爱的小鸟，也因为害怕“毒气”而飞走了。

现在，我们的生活条件越来越高，可环境保护意识却越来越差了。

大家在学校里十分注意卫生，地面一片纸屑、一块果皮、一个废瓶罐都随手捡起，并分类处理，这多好啊！

可在校外，大家都变了个样。吃不完的东西随地乱扔。乘公交车时，一边吃零食，一边往外扔包装袋。什么纸碗啦、饮料瓶啦，还有果皮瓜子壳啊，想扔就扔。公交车开过，留下一道垃圾风景线。

再说说咱们的沿河路公园吧。那里本来绿树成荫，鸟语花香。如今，老远就闻到一股怪味。走近一看，河面上漂着一些垃圾袋、方便碗，还有许多叫不出名字的垃圾，河水怎么不变臭啊！更让人无法想象的是，有人把河边栏杆上的铁链故意弄断了，那多危险！小孩走路还摇、要多留心点。

沿江公园也是散步的好地方，可是江坡边常有牛儿自由地在那里吃草，随地大小便，引来许多的苍蝇和臭虫，真恶心。大家走累了，想休息一会儿，可路边四条腿的石条凳变成三条腿，东倒西歪的，好点儿的凳上有垃圾，叫人怎么坐啊？

还有个不美的地方，就是一些校广告到处贴，连电线杆上，人行道上都用五颜六色的油漆刷出广告人的联系电话，看着就不顺眼。这些被人们称作“城市牛皮癣”的现象，谁来治一治啊！

到街上随便转一转，就看到太多不美的地方，这都是大家不自觉造成的。奥运会就要来临了，要是大家还不注意环境，就要被外国朋友取笑了。

环境保护靠大家，我们一定要从自己做起，人人动手来保护我们的家园。
