If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough, most people will not buy private cars. Thus, the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly. On the whole, the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government, the public and the environmentalists.

Save the Wild Animals

Many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction, because the environment that they are living in has changed greatly. For example, with the developmet of cities, the using of insecticide and serious pollution, their living areas have become narrowcr and narrower. Many of the wild animals, now are confronted with food crisis. At the same time, man is killing off species just for getting their fur, skin, horns, teeth and meat.

In order to protect our resources of ecology, people should realize that the loss of any species is at least the loss of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty. There fore, measures of the following should be taken: pollution standards are made to keepdown poisons; killing off certain rare species is prohibited; national parks should be set up as wild life, reserves.

Only if we human beings take some drastic measures can wild animals be preserved.

保护野生动物

许多野生动物正面临绝种的危险，因为它们生活的环境发生了极大的变化。譬 如，随着城市的发展，杀虫剂的使用和严重的污染，野生动物的生活区域变得越来越狭小。许多野生动物目前正面临着食物方面的危机。同时，为了获取野生动物的毛、皮、角、牙齿和肉，人类正在屠杀野生动物。

为了保护生态资源，人们应当意识到任何物种的缺失，至少意味着知识资源和自然美的缺失。因此，应采取以下措施：制订污染标准以降低有毒物质;严禁杀害某些稀有物种;应建立国家公园作为野生动植物保护区。

我们只有采取一些有力措施，才能保护野生动物。

我家住在长沙的东北角，离学校比较远，叫做金鹰城，我家就在金鹰小区。过去那里是一大片荒郊野岭，爸爸他们那样的广电人把那里开发出来了。三年前，我们刚搬进来的时候，小区周围的建筑只有广电中心、国际影视会展中心、世界之窗、海底世界，和自然很融洽。四周围就是乡下了，那里有田、有草坪、还有鱼塘，空气可好了。天气不管再热再冷，那些长青树总是用它那蓬勃的绿、环保的绿抹去你心中的不快乐，让人精神焕发。鸟儿好像有人在指挥似的，都在鸣叫，这种鸣叫聚在人们心中变成一种好听的旋律。

三年过去了，我家周围变成什么样子了呢？现在这里又多出了很多建筑。今天我专门去看了圣爵菲斯、西湖楼酒家和中南汽车城。

先说说西湖楼酒家吧。这里还正在建设，但也看得出一个大概。虽然算不上乌烟瘴气，但灰尘满天飞，从那儿路过不捂住鼻子，那你就等着呛在半途中吧。门口的保安骄傲地告诉我，这里将近一百亩，你想想有多大！你知道这些地是从哪儿来的吗？告诉你这些地是把耕地占掉了，再在上面砌他们想要的西湖楼酒家。其实西湖楼酒家最早的店子我也跟爸爸妈妈一起去过，是在浏阳的西湖山脚下，顺着山势建的，很有特色，也不占生产生活用地，也没有破坏环境。怎么到了长沙就变样了呢？中南汽车城就更过分了，它背靠着世界之窗和海底世界，以前那里是大片大片的山丘，现在被工人们用挖土机把一座座山美丽的绿外套撕掉了，说得厉害点简直就是把大山开膛破肚，施工时就是沙尘暴。我拍了他们的一张宣传画报。那上面给了我们两个数字，一个是48亿，一个是3000亩。我不知道应该怎样换算这里面的代价。圣爵菲斯是一个新建的豪华别墅区。我估计有两个金鹰小区那么大，占了两个山头。谁都想住好房子。但我记得电视上说过，这样占用土地建豪华别墅是不好的。

从调查中可以看到，我们生活的环境是越来越繁华了，有房子、游乐园、酒店、汽车城，但是也看到了我们的不足：山丘被挖了，小草小树也被铲了砍了，田地被推了，鱼塘也被填了。我家后面，就正在大片大片地填塘。所以我也觉得很困惑。但我想了一个办法，工人可以把树移植到需要树的地方，这样就不会白白的浪费一棵树呀！虽然我不知道这个办法可不可以实现但是可以期待。可还是有很多矛盾等我们这一代去解开。所以我们一定要注意在经济发展的同时又保持人类与自然的和谐，而不是对自然无限制地索取，这样才能保护好人类赖以生存的环境。

以前，这里是孩子们的天堂，是孩子们的乐园。在这里他们是开心的，快乐的。春天，藤蔓们爬上了大树，孩子们就拉着，拽着，比赛着，光看着，到底是谁可以以最快的速度爬上的顶端。春末他们就成群结队寻找着羞涩的森林草莓。夏天，炎热的太阳烤炙着人们，就连大人们也大汗淋漓。小小的人儿那忍受得了烈日的冶练，个个都往小湖里跑。胆子大的，把自己脱得光溜溜的，跳到水里游来游去。秋天，孩子们跑上跑下的，把熟悉的果树上的水果都“试吃”了个便。冬天，那怕是寒风刺骨，都有孩子们的身影，他们在仔细的寻找着，居住在地底里的土豆与红薯。

如今，以前的孩子们都已经长大了，然而，环境也发生着巨大的变化。小湖被土给填满，并且给包围上了一堵刚刚的厚厚的墙，封住孩子们的乐园。以前的我认为，所谓的环境污染离我很遥远，可没想到他离我怎么的近。耳边听到的不再是虫儿清脆的蝉鸣声，而是那让人讨厌的机器的嗡嗡声。就连花儿也不副以前的鲜艳美丽，闷闷的，仿佛也为这变化所忧伤。希望人们在改变环境的同时也保护环境。
