Summer can be very hot in southernxx where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. One thing I had a good time in this summer holiday ,The thing that impressed me most was this summer holiday! First I went to Tian an men square ,I saw different colors people there. I knew that tian an men square is so famous in the world that too many people visit it. then I went to visit the great wall, the great wall is really long , there is no doubt it is the worder in the world ! In last summer vacation ,I went to Beijing with my family. First ,we went to the Great Wall,where we met a lot of foreigners and we also took a lot of photos. They all like our culture and beautiful senery. Second.we went to the summer palace ,where the previous emporers spent summer in the old days.Third, we went to the Forbidden City .Finally ,we went to Wangfujing Street where we tasted much delicious food. After morning’s class, we couldn’t help rushing to the cafeteria. It always brought us coolness. The food was so-so, but the home-cooking is much delicious. When we almost finished eating, I suddenly saw a familiar face——our foreign teacher Nick. A girl was sitting beside him. They were talking over lunch. I at once told my friends Sandy and Jenny about it. We were so excited. I slowed my speed of eating to wait for that girl. At the moment, they finished their lunch and walked by us with the smile on their faces. Nick seemed so different from how he looked in the class. I guess that is the power of love. Hope they will enjoy everyday when they get together. So romantic!

Swimming is one of the best form of excercise whereby almost every parts of the body musles are utilized. Before you go into a pool for swimming lesson, every learner must have the confident of entering into a swimming pool. The first lesson is therefore called, confident drill

To start the learning of swimming, all learners are to do warm up on land and know the safety rules in a swimming pool. Floats and proper swim wear are necessities for a learner.. There are four types of swimming styles. They are Front crawl, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly.

Swimming is a good sport that should be popularized
