Summer can be very hot in southern taibei where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, but later I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.

暑假的时候，爸爸妈妈带我去沙滩上玩，好好享受这个暑假假期。

趁着浪不大，我跑上去好好享受了一番海的抚摸。咦，这些老爷爷老奶奶都蹲在这里干什么呀?我带着好奇心，来到了他们身边。每个人的身旁都有一个篮子，篮子里都装着各种各样的贝壳。“真漂亮的贝壳呀!还全是完整的呢。”我不由自主地赞叹道。听了我的话，身旁的老奶奶笑了起来：“这是菜场里卖的花蛤，你看，这个花蛤还探出了两个角呢!”是呀，仔细观察后，还真的是平时吃的花蛤，只不过这种漂亮得多，花纹五彩缤纷。

光是看着，我的手都已经痒痒了。找了一个好位置，猫着腰，学着奶奶的样子，我先用手往两边画半个大大的正方形，再把手中的沙子抛在自己的正前方。就这样挖、抛，挖、抛，还是没有一个花蛤到手。老奶奶指导我，一次性挖出的沙子要少一些，抛的要均匀，不能堆得像座山，不然就算有花蛤也会被埋进去。

回家吃着花蛤，比什么都香，比什么都美味。第一次感到劳动的快乐。看着“邋遢”的自己，心中只有一个字：“值”!

时光飞逝时光飞逝如航天飞机。时间过得真快!转眼间，短暂的寒假就结束了。这个寒假很高兴，可以看到心仪已久的电影，度过了一个愉快的春节。在冬季的开始，妈妈朋友的孩子的生日，我们去他的生日派对。到了中午妈妈带我们去那里正大广场看《喜羊羊与灰太狼之开心闯龙年》的电影，正大广场人山人海，装修，每个人的脸上喜气洋洋，充满了节日的气氛，电影也很好!

8月25日 星期日 晴

进入衡中第二天，早就有所耳闻的的军训便开始了。

开始还觉得穿上帅气的军装，还将拥有军人挺拔的身姿，那多威风呀，可没过多久，我那一身的臭汗和又麻又酸的胳膊和腿，还有教官严厉的要求， 我厌倦了!烦躁了!我不想干下去了。一直矫生惯养的我，哪儿受过这种苦呀!呜呜……我想妈妈。 Seek, Im tired! I am irritable! I dont want to do it anymore.I have been habitually raised, where I have suffered this kind of suffering! Woohoo ... I think my mother.

我的座位刚好对着那位小姑娘，她的表现出乎我的意料。

我领完晚饭，坐在座位上，正吃着，发现一位食客的小孩不见了。一扭头，发现那个小姑娘正带着那个小孩玩呢。小孩不哭也不闹，摆出一副很有趣的样子。一名食客进来，报出了食物的名字。那个小姑娘对小孩说：“别动，一会再带着你玩!乖乖地!”说完，对食客说：“对不起，请再说一遍。”那位食客笑了笑，又说了一遍。“五块!”又是惊人的速度。那名食客皱了皱眉，仔细看看报价表，“哦。速度真快!”食客说。“谢谢。”小姑娘谦虚道。那个小孩摇了摇她的衣袖，依依呀呀地“说”着。小姑娘说：“还想玩?那继续吧!”当带小孩的食客走时，那小孩还是三步一回头地看着小姑娘。食客看这个滑稽的场面，对小姑娘说“谢谢，小姑娘。”小姑娘笑了笑：“不用谢，阿姨再见，宝宝再见!”

每个人都想过上自己理想的生活：有的想地位显赫，高官厚禄;有的想家财万贯，华车豪宅;有的想快活自由，不受约束……而我，突如其来想起一件不敢拥有这么美好的生活，但是我会努力把梦想中的生活变成现实生活。

时间过得真快，不知不觉第二个学期也快结束，我们九年级同学的毕业考试也考了一部分，但下个月也即将迎来参加中考的紧张阶段。

我在广州市聋人学校接受教育学习已有九年时间，再加上三年幼儿“语言培训”，一共12年了，在这12年里我学会了课本知识，认识了很多不同地方的同学、教师和家长。因为我读的特殊聋人学校，所以同学与同学之间沟通中我认识了基本的手语，而且使我学习及生活中方便和同学、老师沟通。

在今后自己的未来生活里：多一些参加有声有色又很热闹的课外活动，不断增加新的知识。我希望高中毕业后可以读上理想的大学，大学毕业后可以用自己学到的更多的知识报答社会，同时也可以自食其力，快乐工作，快乐生活。

虽然实现理想并非一件容易的事情，尤其是我们患有听力障碍的孩子，比普通人付出会更多，但我明白自己只要能付出努力就有希望。但是为了达到自己的理想生活，所以我自己会更要刻苦地努力做到更好。

Thanksgiving Day

In the United States， the fourth Thursday in November is called Thanksgiving Day。 On that day， Americans give thanks for the blessings they have enjoyed during the year。Thanksgiving Day is usually a family day。 People always celebrate with big dinners and happy reunions。 Pumpkin pie and Indian pudding are traditional Thanksgiving desserts。 Relatives from other cities， students who have been away at school， and many other Americans travel a long distance to spend the holiday at home。
