The Spring Festival, the most jubilant and important festival in China, is observed by most Chinese people at home and abroad. Our hometown is not an exception.

Similar with other places in china, we prepare for the festival about half a month before. With the lunar New Year approaching, the red lanterns are hung up along the main streets, making the ancient town filled with the festival atmosphere. While people clean up their houses, decorate it with traditional decorations such as Chinese knots and paper cutting. Each family pastes up Spring Festival couplets to convey their best wishes for the coming year.

On the New Year’s Eve, the whole family sits around, having a

sumptuous feast of reunion. It is worth mentioning that the food we have called maiyouzhi is unique. There is a flat piece of wheat sheet covering various vegetable and meat then rolling them up. What a delicious it is! After dinner, the family always watches the Spring Festival Gala Evening, and sets up fireworks to watch in the New Year.

On the first day of the New Year, people pay visits to the relatives and friends to send New Year’s greetings to each other and wish everything smoothly in the new year. The kids can get a lot of lucky money from the elders.

During the whole holiday, there are varied activities in the town such as lion and dragon dance, and all the citizens enjoy them very much.

My College Life

How time flies! I have been in Zhejiang Gongshang University for a semester. In retrospect, my college life is busy but colorful. Different from my senior high school’s life, the whole new life I led is much freer. I arranged my time,

becoming the master of myself.

First of all, study is still the core of my life. I major in Japanese which is both interesting and challenging. We are required to be accomplished in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating. As a result I had to spend most of time in improving my abilities. Besides of the regular courses, I often attended the lecture and went to the library to eich my knowledge, and I do benefit from what I learnt.

As to the after school life, what I consider most meaningful is joining the YVP to serve society. I think it is the responsibility for every university student to make contribution to the community. Little as my effort is, I tried my best to help the people around us. Once the YVP organized us to sell secondhand books and raise the money to help the people indeed.

In addition, I quite enjoy the travels and the bees. Travels let me experience the sunshine, fresh air as well as the special taste of the local customs and practices. While the bees keep the friendship shining, and friends are as if family members. Both of them lit up my life.

All in all, the college life is a journey, and I have long way to go; all the memory is the most precious treasure, and I will value every moment.

当我在5年级的时候，我妈妈送我去英语学校，我的英语还是很不错的，我没有站起来的时候，老师让我们站起来跳舞。但让我吃惊的是，英语老师叫安吉拉不恨我，她还是给了我一个机会。有一天，安吉拉找到我，说：“珍妮丝，你很好，我相信你能学好英语，你可以成为一个好的***，我聪明的珍妮丝，好好学英语了。你能做的”安吉拉看着我，我看着她她像我妹妹他对我笑了笑。

我被安吉拉感动了，我对她说：“是的，当然，我保证永远学英语。”

从那天起，我认真学习英语，我的英语水平提高了。现在，我的英语很好。

“你为什么学英语？”我的同学经常问我，我的回答是：安吉拉，是的，安吉拉的信任让我学好英语，谢谢你，安吉拉。

时光太瘦，指缝太宽。

从踏进这间教室直至这一刻笔尖轻触白纸，不知不觉已经过去两个多月了。窗口下的一丛丛树冠从翠绿到金黄，同桌说这样的感觉很好，我却悲叹时光流逝太匆匆。

要说高中生活的滋味是什么，我捉不到也摸不着。脑海中突然涌现出林徽因说过的一句话：“回忆的滋味是那樟脑的香，甜而深沉。”我觉得高中生活的滋味亦如此。亦像是厨房里的五味：酸、甜、苦、辣、咸。

酸。日盼夜盼终于盼来了心所向往的高中生活。新朋友、新老师、第一次在学校食堂吃饭、第一次上晚自习......这一切都是那么的新奇!像是青青的柠檬刺激着我的味蕾，让我全身上下都打起了精神，精神饱满的打量着身边每一件事。

那时，高中的滋味是酸的，一种让人又爱又躲的奇异味道。

甜。进门招招手，互相问候示意。出门招招手，再见叮嘱。这些个平常的小片段，没有一个不闪着甜蜜的光辉。我爱这种感觉。当你遇到困难时，会有一张还不太熟悉的面孔出现你面前，微笑着接过你手里的麻烦，轻柔的声音，温暖的笑容，无一不让我像浸在蜜水里一样，感觉所有的一切都是温暖丝滑的甜蜜。

那时，高中的滋味是甜的。一种芳香灵魂的甜香味道，使人留恋依赖着。

苦。每天只睡六个半小时，吃饭时间仅有二十分钟，为了节约时间不上厕所......这便是高中生活的真实写照，节奏快的像战场上响起的鼓声一样。每天在题海中遨游，身心难免会受不住。看着身边的同学像上了发条，一刻不停的学习，激励着自己也不停的学习，心中早已蓄满了苦水，无奈无处倾吐，只能仰天长叹高中生活的苦和累。

那时，高中的滋味是苦的。像甘草入口是甜，继而苦涩蔓延的味道，只让人又想吐又想含。

辣。高中应该是培养同学间革命友谊的最佳时期，因为这三年，跟同学在一起的时间是比和家人还要长的，这就免不了会有一些小小的摩擦，这种在机械般节奏的学习生活中发生的小摩擦正是吃到辣椒时的感觉，一扫清淡，直叫人欲罢不能。阴天过后又是晴天，这也不失为一剂调剂生活的味道。

那时，高中的滋味多了那么一道火热的气息。辣过之后，自然而来的就是神清气爽，心中痛快许多。

咸。考试成绩不理想、知识掌握不透彻、错过的题还是错......因为这些，我也偷偷地掉过眼泪，眼泪划过嘴角的滋味是咸咸的涩涩的，是多姿多彩的。盐乃百味之首，我不能给他一个具体的定义，因为它囊括了太多的味道，这不正是它的伟大之处吗?

在高中这个大“厨房”里，少了哪一味都不行，须得五味俱全方才算是完整。

高中的滋味便是如此，喜欢的亦或是不喜欢的，你总要尝一尝试一试，只有这样才能尝遍高中生活的百态滋味，也算不失经历过高中生活!

Though my daily life is extremely monotonous, I try hard to adapt myself to it. Why? Because I intend to be a good student. I wish to render service to my country.

I get up at six o’clock every day. After I wash my face and brush my teeth, I begin to review my lessons. I go to school at seven o’clock.

After school is over, I return home. We usually have supper at seven o’clock.Then I begin to do my homework. I want to finish it before I go to bed.

My winter vacation

我的寒假

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.

寒假期间，我的生活没有什么不同的。我每天十一点醒来，洗完碗后，与我的父母吃丰盛的午餐。之后我玩电脑游戏，玩到吃晚饭的时候。晚餐后。我继续玩游戏玩到凌晨两点，然后去睡觉了。这就是寒假我暗淡无光的一天生活。

But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed，because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meet some of my good friends during the vacation ,we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether .And I watched the spring festival party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2011 year! I think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.

但我不是所有的时间都是那么的无趣。有时候我读书，有时我听音乐或在床上听收音机，因为外面很冷而且一整天都在下雪。寒假的时候我也会跟我一些好朋友见面，我们会聊各自在过去一年里的生活，一起打乒乓球。我会在2011年的最后一秒钟看中央电视台春节联欢晚会!我认为这是中国的大多数人会做的事情。

We can live in this beautiful, wonderful world, because our parents raised us. They taught us the life every one of the first, is the first step they taught us to walk, is they taught us that the first sentence, is they taught us to recognize the first word... One time, I got acute disease, just the heavy rain that day, mom and dad are very worried, they take me to the hospital together, dad behind my back that day, mother behind his umbrella to us, because it was late, we only have to walk to the hospital, the mother to the hospital to register, with my dad, waiting for the doctor to see a doctor for me, that we always stay up till midnight, see I dont have anything, mom and dad with a smile, but my tears blurred my eyes. 有一次，我得了急病，那天正好下着大雨，爸爸妈妈都很着急，他们就一起送我到医院，那天爸爸背着我，妈妈在后面给我们打着伞，由于已经很晚了，我们只有步行到医院，到了医院妈妈去挂号，爸爸陪我一起等着医生为我看病，那天我们一直熬到半夜，看到我没有什么事情，爸爸妈妈都露出了笑容， 可是我的泪水却模糊了我的眼睛。于是我对爸爸妈妈说：“我以后一定会好好学习报答你们的。”他们说：“只要你健康快乐，成绩好，就是对我们最好的回报。”我郑重地点了点头。 从那以后，我对自己说我一定要好好学习，不让父母操心，因为我要用成绩来报答父母。

我很感谢我的父母，我要学会感恩。有一句话说得好“谁言寸草心，报得三春晖”。因此，为了报答辛苦养育我的父母，我现在一定要好好学习，长大后，找一个好的工作，让父母安享晚年。父母为我付出的，我将十倍、百倍的感谢、回报他们，让他们的付出有价值。

清明节是我国24节气之一，在每年农历的4月4-6之间。清明过后，气温逐渐上升，雨水也增多，这是春耕播种的好时机。在过去，清明节也被称作植树节，后来从1979年后，植树节被定在公历的5月12日。

清明节不仅是指引人们开始农活的节气，也是举行祭祀最重要的节日，纪念悲伤和喜悦的日子。汉族和少数民族为祖先奉上祭品，为逝者扫墓。清明这天，墓园都是来祭祖扫墓的人，只是祭奠形式都有所简化。清扫墓地后，人们会奉上食物，鲜花，然后烧香烧纸钱。总之，清明是怀念与死去的家人的记忆，表示尊重的一天。同样，也是家人团聚的一天。

烦恼像遥挂庐山的瀑布，剪不断，劈不开;烦恼像熊熊燃烧的烈火，烧着心，灼着肝;烦恼像呼啸而来的狂风，来无影，不见去。在人的一生中不可能是无忧无虑，无欲无求的。可能小的时候天真懵懂的时代，是无忧无虑的，但是随着时间的推移，我们都会长大。渐渐的变得成熟稳重，烦恼也就自然而然的来。每个人都有自我的烦恼，当然，我也有!

我的烦恼是，长得比同龄人高!

有的人可能会说：“长得高有什么不好?我还巴不得长得高呢!”可在我眼里，是一个不想理解的现实。何出此言?我就用事例来告诉你!每一天早上一出门，看见同学，她们都会说：“嗨!大白!”我反驳道：“我哪里有大白那么胖!”她们笑着说：“大白是高高胖胖，你只是比大白窈窕!”又是一阵哈哈大笑!并且来到学校，做操的时候，都是站最后一个。这些都没什么，只是在拍毕业照时，我每次都是站在中间，当对称轴。并且，在运动会上，虽然说长得高，但是和班上的其他“女汉子”相比，我还是不占优势，看到她们在跑道上挥洒汗水，为班级争光。我只能默默的为他们写加油词，顿时无力感噌噌往上涨!但是，仔细一想，人不可能是十全十美，所以不必因为这个气馁，化烦恼为动力!

人之所以烦恼，在于记忆;人之所以心累，在于徘徊;人之所以前行，在于感恩;人之所以快乐，在于豁达;人之所以成熟，在于看透;人之所以放下，在于选取;人之所以宽容，在于理解;人之所以为人，在于感情;人之所以充实，在于过程;人之所以成功，在于勤奋;人之所以幸福，在于知足。
