不断砍伐树木，在台风来临时，就会抵挡不住台风，受难的不还是我们人类吗? 几年来，工厂不断增加，排放污水也在不停的增加，污水常常排放在附近的小河里，使原来清澈见底的河水变得臭气熏天。人们常常把喝完的饮料瓶随地乱扔，白色垃圾到处可见。你说，生活在这样的环境中，心情会好吗? 我们就从节约用水说起，也许大家都会说，浪费几滴水破坏不了环境。全世界每个人都浪费几滴水，如果每个人都浪费三滴水，那全世界五十亿人就要浪费一百五十亿滴水，如果把这些水送给那些干旱的地方，可以拯救多少人啊!节约用水，人人有责，所以我们大家应该节约每一滴水，不要浪费每一滴水。否则，地球上的最后一滴水将是人类的眼泪! 人类只有一个家园--地球，它是人类赖以生存的地方，我们要好好保护它。

在生活中，随着科技越来越发达，工业污染的产生逐年增多，而我们，应该做什么呢？

工业污染是指工业生产过程中所形成的废气、废水和固体排放物对环境的污染。污染主要是由生产中的“三废”（废水、废气、废渣）及各种噪音造成的，可分为废水污染、废气污染、废渣污染、噪音污染。

这些污染带给我们的危害数不胜数。如：工业生产中排放大量未经处理的水、气、渣等有害废物，会严重地破坏农业的生态平衡和自然资源，对农业生产的发展造成极大的危害；工业“三废”对工业生产本身的危害也很严重，有毒的污染物质会腐蚀管道，损坏设备，影响厂房等的使用寿命；环境污染，公害泛滥，直接危害着广大人民群众的健康；有些污染不容易发现，发现以后造成的危害已经很严重……

比利时的马斯河谷位于狭窄的盆地中，气温发生逆转，致使工厂中排放的有害气体和煤烟粉尘在近地大气层中集聚不散，3天后开始有人发病。其症状表现为：胸痛、咳嗽、呼吸困难等，一星期内有60多人死亡，其中心脏病、肺病患者死亡率最高。同时，还有许多家畜致死。事件发生期间，SO2浓度很高，并可能含有氟化物。事后分析认为，此次污染事件，是几种有害气体同煤烟粉尘对人体综合作用所致。

但并不是说我们没有办法阻止这种事情的发生。我们也有相应的防御措施。如：淘汰和关闭一批技术落后、污染严重、浪费资源的企业；开展循环经济实践；积极防范突发环境事件；对工业危险废物实行全过程管理制度；实行严格的核与辐射环境安全管理……

如今，我们的思想都不封闭，应该努力了解环保知识，保护好我们的生存环境——地球。为子孙后代留住一个美丽、环保的家园。也为全世界所有人出一份力，让世界更美好。

在夕阳西下之时，享受纯净的、混合着丝丝缕缕花香的清风拂过身旁，欣赏那看似近却十分遥远的山脚下，大地与天空相接的地方冒出一朵朵玫瑰般绽开的、融为一体的火红得令人心醉的晚霞，在绿叶“沙沙”的歌声和鸟儿们“叽叽喳喳”的说笑声中，徜徉在大自然的怀抱里……这是多么让人心驰神往啊！可惜，现在连简单而美丽的蓝天白云都不多见了，雾霾那灰不溜秋的身影在我们身边四处游荡，吞噬着人们的健康与生机。

一天晚上，我走出门在小区里散步。一连下了好几天的雨，雨后的清新空气和湿润的泥土所散发出来的朴实无华而让人感到踏实的气味使我精神一振，让我从灰蒙蒙的雨天中完完全全地脱离出来了。可走着走着，我就不由自主地捂上了鼻子。一股恶臭扑面而来。

在漆黑的夜里，借着路灯的微光，定睛一看——原来走到了一条小河边。整条河都黑咕隆咚，隐约能看出河面上漂浮着零零星星的垃圾和团状的水藻，实在是不堪入目。

我停了下来。

是啊，像这样的污染实在太多了！电视上看到的，广播里听到的，报纸上看到的。像工厂烟囱里的黑烟一条条窜向天空，像本该清澈的小河里垃圾、死鱼成堆，像无数蚊虫聚集在垃圾桶旁，令人作呕。

惨不忍睹。

如果我们在今后还是这样不加收敛，终究会害到我们人类自己！最近的雾霾就是一个教训。大家肯定也想有一个无污染的家园，但总有一些人会想：反正有人清理，那我干嘛要管呢……要知道，地球是我们共同的家园，每个人都是它的主人，我们应该爱护它，不应该当“甩手掌柜”。

让我们一起行动起来，使我们的家园变得更美！

World Environment Day is started from 1972, which is established by the United Nations General Assembly for raising global awareness to take actions to protect the Nature. The establishment of World Environment Day shows people’s the cognition and the attitude to the environmental problem, and expresses our human beings’ desire of pursuing the better environment. Every year the United Nations Environment Program proposes a theme, and the 2014 theme of this day will focus on ‘Small Island and Climate change’ and the slogan is “Raise Your Voice Not the Sea Level”.

世界环境日，起始于1972年，它是联合国为了提高全球的环保意识而创建的。环境日的创立展现了人们对环境问题的认识和态度，表达了人们对美好环境的追求渴望。每一年联合国环境规划署都会提出一个环境日主题，而的主题主要着重于小岛屿与气候变化，今年的口号是“提高你的呼声，而不是海平面”。

World Environment Day can be celebrated in lots of ways, for instances, planting trees, doing some recycling, participating the clean-up campaigns and so on. Certainly people can also do something simple, like going to work by bus instead of private cars. I believe if everyone takes environmental actions as a habit, we are doing a big difference for the better environment.庆祝世界环境日的方式多种多样，例如植树，对废物进行循环利用，参加清洁行动等等。

当然，人们也可以做些简单的小事来纪念，比如说不做私家车上班，改乘公交车去上班。我相信只要大家都将这些环保小事当作习惯，我们将会为建造美好环境做出重大贡献。
