成长，对你来说，是什么?是一天天长高，一年年的年龄增长吗?不，这只是表面上的成长，有一种成长，叫心理上的成长。

四年级期中考试数学原本应该考的很好的我却荒天破地只考了73分，这鲜红的73分，似乎显得格外狰狞，它不止写在了试卷上，而且还刻在了我的心上。那鲜红的大巴叉，似乎又有了魔力，它似乎嘲笑般的对我说：“你看看，你才考了这么一点分，丢死人了!”想着，我不争气的眼泪就一滴一滴落了下来，滴在试卷上，立刻晕染了一片鲜红。

我想起了老师的谆谆教诲，妈妈的千叮咛万嘱咐，可一切都晚了，晚了。我沮丧地收拾书包，准备回家。在回家的路上，我看到花儿都耷拉下来，天空阴沉沉的，似乎在预兆着什么。到家了，我反复在门前踱步着，自己要不要进去，向妈妈坦白自己考得不好，再一顿竹笋炒肉。不进去的话，老师会把成绩发到妈妈手机上的，我一咬牙，推了门进去。

“回来了，知道你这次考的不好，下次努力啊!”我一惊，妈妈今天怎么这么反常?我一想到妈妈那“河东狮吼”，就吓的一身冷汗。

“妈……我……”我支支吾吾，半天说不出话来，妈妈又说：“这次就不批评你了，我知道现在你心里一定也非常难受。”妈妈，这话一出口我就热泪盈眶。妈妈继续温柔的说道：“一次考不好并不能代表什么，失败并不可怕，可怕的是你不进步，重要的是我们要严肃的对待自己的问题出在哪里，认认真真地改正。在以后的学习上，踏踏实实的做好每一次作业，学好每一个知识。孩子，从哪里跌倒，就从哪里爬起来!继续前进，加油!”说完她轻轻的拍了拍我的肩膀。

望着妈妈那平和的眉眼，我心中倍感温暖，一时不该说什么好，只是默默的点了点头。是啊，人从哪里跌倒，就从哪里爬起，妈妈说的没错。想着，一股暖流涌上心头。

于是，我努力学习，上课认真听讲，积极发言，老师边讲我边做笔记，暗下决心，一定不辜负老师的希望，不辜负妈妈的期望。功夫不负有心人，我在期末考试中，我的数学取得了96分的好成绩。

成长，是妈妈给了我宽容，给了我温暖和战胜失败的力量，我才能重拾信心，得以前进。
