Although I’m still a freshman in this new semester, I’ve learned a lot from the past few months. Maybe I’ve got not bad gradeslast term and it indeed inspired me to get more progress in the future. But what I know is that it’s still a long way to achieve my ultimate goal and I need to make great efforts. My dream is to be a translator, especially a simultaneous interpreter, but I knew it’s not easy to realize due to my limited knowledge now. So I need to work step by step.

Now it comes to my recent goals. Firstly, to be honest, I’m not good at oral English and English listening, I have to take a great deal of practice. What I plan is listening to the MP3 in order to imitate the foreigners’ accent and speak more in English. At the same time, I will do a lot of News dictation and English listening and comprehension to improve my skills. Secondly, to prepare the CET4 and the 2014National English Contest for College Students, I intend to memorize all the words in my vocabulary book within two or three months and finish my exercise books. Thirdly, I want to maintain my academic of my specialized course or do more better than ever before by working harder. Finishing my assignments and notes is what I need to insist on every day.

Just like the old saying goes, “Nothing is impossible to a willing heart”. I have a strong belief that I can realize my dream as long as I persist in it and study hard with plenty of time and patience.

为班级争得荣誉，不是那么容易就能够争得荣誉的，是要在平时，付出千心万苦的劳动，就会成功。所以，我必须要在平时认真地锻炼身体，到比赛那一天就能够信心百倍的比赛了。因为，“功在平时”呀!这样，比赛那天就不会很紧张，怕跑不好。

并且，在家里要帮忙父母多做些事情。也不能总像以前那样，不做家务就出去玩。可是，此刻我长大了，就必须得帮忙父母多做一些事。人家也常说：“儿行千里母担忧。”每当我要上学的时候，这句话就会在我的脑海里徘徊，因为，我十分不想让爸爸妈妈担心我和弟弟，我就常对爸妈说：“爸爸妈妈，我已经长大了，我会照顾好弟弟的，请你们不要担心了。”就这样，那句话就常在我脑海里徘徊。所以，我必须不会让爸妈担心的，并且，我还要在家里，常常帮忙爸妈做事情，让他们相信，我们是多么的能干。

在新的一年里，我还要经常帮忙那些需要帮忙的人，还要捐款给穷人，让他们也过上幸福的日子。

在语文中，我的作文、日记都还不够好，写的句子也还不够通顺、具体、梦想，所以，我必须要在平时，多写作文、日记，把句子写完整，还要具体、深动，这样的文章，才有才华。所以，这学期我必须要努力。

It is exciting to visit different places. As you travel you will see beautiful sceneries typical of the region. Besides you can meet and make friends with people of different colors and races. Last week Chang Feng Park held a flower show. I went to visit it with my friends. I was very glad to see so many beautiful flowers in the park. I was really amazed to see a sea of colourful flowers. They told me that some rare flowers came from Taiwan.Thousands of people stopped and watched them carefully. I took many pictures there. Taiwan has always been a part of our country. I am sure sooner or later we can go there to see many more beautiful flowers. What great fun it will be.

In the 30 days of the winter vacation, I also want to some of my winter vacation plan.

On the first day of winter vacation, I will look over the final exam papers review once, and then do some exercises.

In the second day to the fifth day of the winter vacation, I will finish the all homework assigned by the teacher is good, take a look at some reference books and information.

Review to the same, I will go to buy some books and materials book1&book 2 in the sixth grade to preview, understand and recite every passage and words, math is to buy some exercises to do. In the New Year to come, tidy up all the information about learning well, back to their hometown to play with my friends. My winter vacation plan is like this, what about you?

People always say that if you want to be successful, then you need to never

give up. I agree with it. The power of insistence is infinite. It can bring us

to our destination. I have made up my mind to finish the task in the planned

time. At the beginning, I would write my homework once I got home and I finished

it quickly without other’s interruption. But sometimes my friends came to my

house and asked me to join the activity, and I would say yes without hesitation.

When I got home was almost ten o’clock, all I wanted to do was to sleep, but

thinking about the homework, then I decided to finish it and refused to leave

第二步，便是在学习中要扎扎实实，不留遗憾，不留疑问。要弄懂，还要反复复习，对于公式的理解，要多练，利用习题来提高自己的记忆。语文多看多记。英语多读多背，统一的还要多写，这样也可以提升记忆。不要懒惰，要勤奋、认真、踏实。一步一个脚印方可充实。

第三步，也是最后的最主要的一步：总结要时时总结。孔子说：“吾日三省吾身可以为师也。”李世民一代天骄也曾说：“以铜为镜可以正衣冠，以人为镜可以明得失。”他们都说出了总结的很重要性。总结可以反省以前的一些不足或缺陷，可以明了以前好的地方，总结还可以促使你明白下一步的计划行动。

做好这三步，相信自己，面临高三便不再惧怕，可以昂首挺胸的迈向它。但是一定要谨记，不要放弃，你一放松，“敌人”便有可能乘机而入，让你一败涂地。

刚来这个班时，我第一个遇见的是你，我因为不会叠被子，而你却在寝室里像妈妈一样的帮助我，那时，我就有点喜欢你了。

当你让我当你的英语课代表时，我就毫不犹豫的答应了。因为你不仅年轻，长得也很清纯，并且还有一颗少女心。

可惜，时间长后，我发现我厌恶你了。

In this society, money is really not a good thing; if you dont have money, people will look down on you, and if you have money, they will borrow it from you; if you have it, what is it? But when I cant borrow it, then I will become an enemy between brothers and friends, so instead of becoming an enemy in the end, why dont I borrow it from the beginning?

在这个社会之中，钱这个东西，真的不是一个好东西;没钱那么别人看不起你，有钱别人又要找你借;有借有还，这还没有什么?可是当借了以后，还不起的时候，那么兄弟之间，朋友之间，就会成了为仇人;所以与其最后都会成为仇人，那么我何不从一开始，就不要借。

There are many festivals in China. Among them, I like the Spring Festival most.Not only because it’s the biggest festival in the year, but also because it’s a new beginning that brings hope to people and it’s time for family gathering.Before the festival, people come home no matter where they are.Usually, we have a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. And then families sit together and share their lives or planes.Some will play games or hang out to have some fun.

On the New Year’s Day, people get up early and say good words to anyone they meet.Children can get lucky money from relatives.In the following days, we will visit relative’s home and bring New Year’s wishes to them.In short, it’s a time for family gathering and all of us enjoy it.

在我国，一年有很多节日，在这些节日中，我最喜欢春节。这不仅因为它是一年中最大的节日，更因为它是新一年的开始，给人们带来新的希望，也因为它是亲朋好友团聚的时刻。不管身在何方，人们总会在春节前回到家里准备过节。

通常，我们会在除夕夜吃一顿丰盛的晚餐，之后家人团座一起，分享一年以来的生活以及新年计划。有的人则会玩游戏或者出去玩。大年初一，人们通常会早起，会与见到的人说吉祥话。孩子们会得到压岁钱。在接下来的几天里，人们会带上新年祝福互相串门拜年。总之，春节是一个欢聚一堂、供人享乐的日子。
