what s your plan for dragon boat festival?

As a chinese, I was really ashamed of having a little knowledge of dragon boat festival. Perhaps I was born in northern city, though my city is nearby sea, it has been built a U port which I can only see cargo ships and can t see the sweeping ocean. So I have never see the dragon boat contest since I was born. So the dragon boat festival is just a holiday for eating Zong Zi . My mother made Zong Zi when I was a child. Because there was no supermarket, we couldn t buy finished product from market. However, now, we can buy anything in supermarket, so my mother didn t make them anymore. The boat festival began to fade out my mind.

In reality, young people began to have a bug to celebrate foreign festivals, such as Christams, Saint Valentine s day, April Fool s Day, some people also celebrate Easter in church. Talk about Dragon boat festival, it s the same as some foreign conventional festivals, such as Witch s Day in Czech. People burned the witch s puppet so as to welcome spring. Some people are willing to celebrate foreign festivals because they like alien culture. And vice versa, foreigners who like China also concern about Chinese traditional culture.

After new holiday regulation, we have three holidays during the dragon boat festival. So many people will choose this time to travel. People who lived in Xiamen are able to visit Xiapu or Wu Yi mountain, these tourist attractions are in Fujian province,which is suit a short tirp. but I d like to stay at home for my decorate painting. I decide to draw two canvases about Christmas, it s really a big project. Then I ll hang them on the new house wall. I must start it now, or I can t finish them before Christmas eve. But I preceive it s a little difficult to draw them in such a hot season.

Our Librar is a busy place.It is open every day from8:00--12:00 in the

morning and from 1:30--5:30 in the after-noon,except on Sundays.

The library contains a large variety of books. in it you will find both

literary and scientific and technical books in Chinese and in foreign

languages.In this building too,are reading-rooms with newspapers and

magazines.Perhaps English books account for over a half of those in foreign

lanuages.

We often go there to look for books which we want to borrow or to read

articles which we like to consult.Our library provides all useful reading matter

and reference materials according to our needs.Although we do not subscribe to

any magazines or newspapers,we are well informed about the recent developments

and new trends in the world as well as in our country.The library plays an

important role in our college life.

It seems like a silly question, anyone in sane would give a hand to the elderly who fell. But in China, this question is becoming tricky. Many news report that there are some old people not just fell, they do it on purpose. Usually, they walk on a crowdy street, and pretend to faint or just lay down on the ground, intend to accuse the one who comes to help as a perpetrator and blackmail him/her for the treatment fee. Last weekend, I wanted to swim in the river that I usually wen in the

childhood. When I went there, I was shock. The river is no longer like before.

I am in Xianchi Railway MiddleSchool. There are about 40 teachers and 900

students in my school. Its very large with two small gardens. Some small trees

and flowers are planted. We enjoy beautiful flowers in spring, summer and

autumn. They are the places the students like most. There are two modern

teaching buildings and a teaching building in my school. Our classrooms are

large and bright. We feel so happy to study in such comfortable classrooms.

Now there are over 30000 members all over the world. Since water covers most of the earth, Cousteau knew that we should keep the sea clean. There are still a few people who are not protecting the water now in the world. For example, some factories pour waste things into the rivers, lakes or into the sea near by. So we should use little water when we need to use it. For example, I do not use too much water when I am washing my face or having a bath… It is important for us to keep the water clean.
