There is only onebuilding in our school, but we have a very big playground. There are tencomputer labs and one library in the building, and there are many computerbooks in the library. We often go there in the afternoon.

听爸爸妈妈说，他们小的时候，环境还是非常美的，到处山青水秀、鸟语花香，池塘里鱼儿快活地游来游去……可是现在，我们的家园却变成了什么样子呢?我们经常从电视里看到沙尘暴、泥石流和山体滑坡的新闻，也经常从大人的口中得知哪里又发生了地震、哪里又发生了饥荒和洪涝干旱等，自然灾害接连不断，生态环境恶化的地球开始报复人类。

面对日益严峻的考验，我们难道不应该好好地反思一下吗?如今，大街小巷的汽车一天比一天多，房前屋后哪里不是停满了车子?它们每天要向天空排放多少废气呀?还有全世界那么多的发电厂、炼油厂和化工厂，他们日复一日、年复一年地排放毒烟，造成了多么可怕的污染啊?人类变本加厉地向地球母亲榨取资源，滥采滥捕、乱砍乱伐、破坏环境，导致全球变暖、冰山融化、水土流失和物种灭绝等一系列灾难性问题频频发生。

保护环境，拯救地球。虽然我们现在还只是小学一年级的学生，但我们可以从身边的小事做起，从保护我们学校的小环境做起。同学们，二十一世纪的真正主人是我们，我们要有强烈的时代责任感和使命感!创绿色校园，做环保卫士，我们要积极响应学校的环保倡议，从爱护学校的一花一草一木、从节约一滴水一度电做起，不乱扔垃圾，不损坏公物。让我们用自己的实际行动，为绿化美化净化校园作出我们应有的贡献吧!
