She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. Pride and Prejudice is a chefdoeuvre. But my first impression of this story was from screen.

Its long long ago, maybe before I can read english books. I dont remember which movie edition I had seen. But I was impressed by the music, the scenery and the costume. I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. Its pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to the characters, I liked Elizabeth, the heroine,though I didnt think shes beautiful. But shes smart. However, I didnt pay much attention to the plot. I thought its so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I havent read the whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to my prejudice.

In fact, I didnt understand the story at that time. I didnt know why it called Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didnt find where s the prejudice. I thought its normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it. Im a prejudiced person so I cant find wheres wrong. I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody or something,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time. I like it so just like it, if not so just not. Im a person thinking by heart not by brain. What is worse, I actually didnt think its wrong. I thought everyone is all like that.Everyone has his special way to cognize the world. So its individuality, not prejudice. But I think something is wrong. Though everyone can judge in the way he likes, he cant ignore other ones. You can like what you like and hate what you hate, but you should be objective when you meet external world. I think it means that you should consider things roundly, not just partial. Individuality is different from prejudice. What is it? I need to think more.

《山丘上的约会》这个故事中最奇妙的部分，在于两们“笔友”彼此间从未见过面，单单只靠书信文字所产生的美好想象来塑造彼此的形象，而且在无形中不断地增强彼此的美好印象。相信很多人都有这样的经验：只听到某人或某篇文章的形容，就对没见过的人、事、物产生好奇，进而想象，总是越想越美好。

《山丘上的约会》故事最精彩的部分在于两个素未谋面的人终于决定要见面了，让人紧张心跳的也正是这一刻，两人都从对方最高的期望出发，结局如何呢？作者采用了卡通化的造型，夸张地强化了故事中两个主角的差异，不论在身高或体态上都不同。很戏剧化的是，正当玲玲抬头猛往高处寻找将会从天而降的偶像时，男主角瓜瓜也正奋力地跳上山丘去赴约呢！作者运用书本竖立时的直式版面，营造出男女主角见面时的“震憾”画面，令人拍案叫绝！故事中的主角虽然都是田墅里常见的动物，但两者的外形、习性截然不同，所以见面的过程充满了曲折、趣味。孩子在阅读时因为是旁观者，一定会觉得他们好笑，从而在轻松的气氛中理解故事的发展进程。

哇！会面的结果真是令人有些失望，书信中的印象明明不是这样的埃当满怀期盼，终于可以一睹真面目时，才发现事实和想象差了一大截。这是一个有趣又常会发生的事情。其实呢，“人生不如意事十常八九”，生活中经常会有许多的遗憾和委屈。正因为如此我们常常很努力地去避免这样的事情发生，让一切都如意顺心。结果期望越高往往失望越大，以至迷失了对事物本质的认识，我们就越来越不快乐了。试问朋友的真正意义是什么？不就是无邪的友谊分享吗，至于表面的东西也就不值得计较了。

因为人生很少能够真正地心想事成，所以我们会寄望于故事最后的美好结局，至少希望它是正面的、光明的。笔者很欣赏本书的结局。当玲玲和瓜瓜确信彼此的真正友谊存在时，决定继续山丘上的约会，再为彼此美好的友谊努力下去。真好，友谊可以不用猜疑和负担，只要彼此接纳和分享，或许这正是现代人该好好想想的课题。

Carson thought that because of the antibody and differentiation, pesticides would never be completely useful. It’s quite sarcastic that we hurt ourselves much badly while hurting the others. Then she analyzed many poisonous components in pesticides. Those are all unfamiliar names except DDT, such as chlordane, chloronaphthalene, compound 497, etc.

Those things really make me feel scared. We are on the top of the food chain, and it is such a perfect and fragile system. We human beings are just part of it and we depend on all of the creatures who stay on the lower positions. It is so hard and ridiculous to try to match the nature. Only in the state does man have a rational existence. Every species have their value to be on this world. Then no one knows what would happened if we force them to disappear. For example, let’s imagine the food chain as a meticulously made castle built by billions of little blocks and we human beings are the top one. There might be several tiny blocks on the bottom which you think is useless and dispensable. But what would happen if we take them away? Perhaps nothing happened, and perhaps the whole castle ruined.

Destruction is always much easier than recovery, not counting those incurable ones. Humans always think that we are much cleverer than the other animals, so we become more and more conceited and firmly believe that we are the king. We didn’t see that the nature is so magical and knows how to revenge. The pay back is much more violent and cruel. We need balance and order. The nature has its own rule. Our aim is to use it and live in harmony with it. The ecosystem is so delicate that even a tiny disturbance could lead an unexpected consequence, just like the butterfly effect.

高尔基曾经说过“书籍是人类进步的阶梯”。书籍是人类智慧的宝库，书中那动人的故事和优美的语言，总能把我带入美好的情景，使我受到真、善、美的熏陶。我是一个爱读书的孩子，姐姐的学校开书展，于是，姐姐买了三本书给我，有《爱丽丝梦游仙境》、有《昆虫记》，还有《小王子》。其中，我最爱看的是《小王子》。

《小王子》是一本有趣的童话书，主人公是一个幼小的外星人，飞离了自己那颗小小星球，拜访了其它的星球，见识了不少的事情和人物，后来他到地球上来，与地球人“我”成了忘年之交，建立了深厚的友情。他们的相遇相知，平淡而感人。特别是他们互相鼓励，相互帮助，经过千辛万苦，长途跋涉，终于在沙漠找到水井，成为生死之交。他们最后分手告别的场面很悲壮，动人。我在读的时候，深受感动而落泪，但让我高兴的是，小王子回到自己的星球上后，他们相距千万里的太空，却仍互相思念，互相关心，遥遥相望，心心相印。于是，浩瀚的太空里，无限的宇宙中，也都充满他们的之间的友爱的感应电波。这是多么美好的，多么和谐的关系!我多么希望地球上人与人之间，也拥有这种和谐的关系啊!

我深深感受到，小王子就像自己的小弟弟，亲切而招人喜爱。

在备受感动的同时，我也感悟到了一个深刻的道理：要珍惜朋友，珍惜友情，不要对朋友乱发脾气，交个朋友很容易，但拥有一个真正的知心朋友很难，失去一个朋友也很容易，而失去真正的知心朋友却让人很痛苦。

感谢小仲马塑造了茶花女这样一个可悲却又可敬的美丽女子。然而，希望那已死去的花朵再次从泥土中萌芽、重生的时候，远离那阴暗的墙角，能每天和阳光为伴，即使不再那么美丽，也不要重复前世的悲剧。

最近有部电影很火，叫《哪吒之魔童降世》，姐姐带我去看了。在回家的路上，姐姐在开车，我在车后边啃巧克力边思考。

《哪吒之魔童降世》（由于名字过长，以下简称《哪吒》）讲述的是一颗灵丹与一颗魔丸，灵丹被认为会造福苍生，魔丸被认为会导致生灵涂炭。天尊在魔丸上布下了天劫咒，三年后会被一道雷劈得渣都不剩，而灵丹则转世作李靖的儿子。谁知，由于申公豹的暗算，魔丸转世为李靖的儿子哪吒，而灵丹则落入看守海底炼狱（其实等同于把自己也锁住了）的龙族，转世为敖丙。后来，由于一个偶然的机会，他们成为了朋友。可在最后，为了龙族，“灵丹”反而成了想活埋村子的“恶棍”，“魔丸”反而成了“英雄”。

我忽然想到申公豹的一句话：“人心的成见，是一座大山。”是呀，就像在我们心中，英雄总是英俊强壮的人，而恶棍总是一脸胡子拉碴。还有“三岁看大，七岁看老”，难道习惯不可以改变吗？这句充满成见的话，却被无数人奉为经典……这样的例子，数不胜数。
