就这样，五年过去了。常爷爷还没有回来。随着时间的流逝，爷爷的身体状况日趋下滑，经常得病。而且每天十分无聊，也不下棋，也不看电视，也不出去玩，整日在家里闷着，越来越孤独。每天晚上都睡不着觉，因为他每天晚上都在想着常爷爷。虽然我也经常陪着他，但是他一天到晚紧皱眉头，手足无措，死气沉沉的。

有一天，忽然，那个沉寂了五年的手机铃声又响了起来。我的爷爷激动的蹦了起来，像是年轻了五十岁。接过电话我看到他的脸上满是欣喜，眼里挂满了眼泪。“爷爷怎么了”?“老常说，他回来了，马上来看我，已经快到了，快点，把我的外套拿出来。”看得出来，他很高兴，于是我也不劝他，让他下楼去了。
