The Great Wall of China, also known in China as the Great Wall of 10,000, is an ancient Chinese fortification built from the end of the 14th century until the beginning of the 17th century, during the Ming Dynasty, in order to protect China from raids by the Mongols and Turkic tribes. English is the necessary subject to learn. Since I went to school, I have

“嗒…嗒…嗒，”教室外的走廊上传来数学老师急促的脚步声。我的心抖了一下，这不是要考试的节奏吧。我可最怕考试了，每次考试都会紧张的手出冷汗，严重时都没做完。语文和英语我还很轻松，但数学真得很可怕。

“考试！”数学老师一脸严肃的看着我们，“啊！怎么今天什么都考呢？”同学们不约而同地抱怨道。“快点，把桌子上的所有关于数学的资料全部收起来。等下又考来不及，我可不等你们。”话音刚落，卷子变齐刷刷地落到我们的手上。在教室日关灯的照耀下，卷子露出它邪恶的面孔。我急忙翻开卷子看题，当我看到考卷的命题时，整个人都蒙了，天呐，第三单元一元一次方程！这一单元我可是半懂半不懂的，这回死定了。我不敢多想，马上开始答题，前面的填空、选择题我都异常顺利的做完了，但到后面就不行了，我的速度变得像乌龟要走完八百米的跑道一样慢，我开始有些心急。

都说“心急吃不了热豆腐”，虽然我知道心急是做不出题目的，但是我总会不由自主地开始紧张，总想着我不会做，接着我的`脑海里就会浮现出一些画面：我看到父母在一唱一和地责骂我，说大家都考那么好，就我考成这样；看到老师对我失望的眼神；还看到同学们都拿着九十几分的考卷在我面前炫耀。我的思绪越飞越远，突然，老师走到我面前，好像看穿了我的心思，“快做，别紧张，要不然时间来不及了。”我急忙拿起笔，静下心来，在草稿子上飞快地算着，冷静的思考。

终于，我做完了所有的题目。我看了看表，心里一阵欢喜，还有十分钟，可以在检查一遍了！我一遍又一遍地看着考卷，生怕哪道题忘记看了，但同时又在想，为什么我这次可以有时间检查呢？或许是因为我没有去想别的事情吧。

第二天，考卷发下来，一个94分映入我的眼帘，“还不错，”我暗自窃喜，然后靠在椅子上长叹了一口气。

那一次考试，我突然之间发现：其实考试并不是一件特别可怕的事情，它不过只是对你日常学习的一次考察，只要你放心去做，不要让太多的杂念去干扰你就好了，要放宽心去面对。

actually, no rule of the game states you must do anything. instead of picking up and using the pen, you could leave it on a shelf or in a drawer where it will dry up, unused. but if you do decide to use it, what would you do with it? how would you play the game? would you plan and plan before you ever wrote a word? would your plans be so extensive that you never even got to the writing? or would you take the pen in hand, plunge right in and just do it, struggling to keep up with the twists and turns of the torrents of words that take you where they take you? would you write cautiously and carefully, as if the pen might run dry the next moment, or would you pretend to believe that the pen will write forever and proceed accordingly?

and of what would you write: of love? hatred? fun? misery? life? death? nothing? or everything? would you write to please just yourself, or others, or yourself by writing for others? would your strokes be tremblingly timid or brilliantly bold? fancy with a flourish or plain? would you even write? once you have the pen, no rule says you have to write. would you sketch? scribble? doodle or draw? would you stay in or on the lines, or see no lines at all, even if they were there? or are they? theres a lot to think about here, isnt there?
