我想：奶奶和爷爷年龄大了，要上就是困难；可不上吧，大老远来了，没登上长城，太可惜了。 看我不说话，爷爷发话了:“上！毛主席都说了，不到长城非好汉嘛。奶奶在这休息，我陪我孙女上去。”

我高高兴兴的拉着爷爷的手向上跑起来。

不一会，我远远就看到了“不到长城非好汉”七个潇洒的大字，爷爷告诉我，这几个字是毛主席写的。我不由得肃然起敬，认真的观赏起来。

爷爷问：你知道歌颂长城的是个都有哪些？我就边走边背给他听，有“秦时明月汉时关，万里长征人未还”，“劝君更进一杯酒，西出阳关无故人”

就这样，我们说说笑笑不知不觉就上到了最高处。我兴奋的大叫：我上来了，长城！

爷爷笑着说：“我们雅雅也是好汉了。”

站在长城的高处鸟瞰，一片绿茵茵的大地上穿行着一条巨龙，婉蜒曲折、奔腾起伏，在威严地俯视着龙的传人。那能让人感到当年秦始皇的军队在上面击鼓呐喊、燃放烟火的烽火台就像是巨龙拱起的背部；旁边有弯弯曲曲、连绵起伏的通道，那些厚重的砖块就像是巨龙的鳞片。巧妙地搭配真使人惊叹。

万里长城是我们民族的骄傲，它象征着中华民族坚强不屈的精神，这种精神也将一直激励着我勇往直前！
