我的家乡在湖南新邵的一个小镇。在我的记忆中，家乡有山有水，山清水秀。春天万物复苏的时候，小镇披着浓浓的绿色，简直就是绿色的海洋;秋天稻子熟了的时候，田间金灿灿的稻子一眼望不到边，微风吹来，泛起层层稻浪;一条小河从小镇的东边流过，河水清澈见底，鱼儿在水里自由地游动……那时，家乡的天空是蓝的，家乡的河流是清的，家乡的环境是美的。

后来随着父母工作的调动来到了昆明。去年回到家乡，我突然发现，家乡发生了让我十分震惊的变化，我简直不认识她了——灰蒙蒙的尘雾覆盖着我熟悉的小镇，空气中散发着一些说不上名儿的怪味;原来十分宽阔的田间不知何时矗立起了座座高楼，机器的噪音不绝于耳;清澈见底的小河不知何时变得浑浊不堪，水面上漂浮着五颜六色的垃圾……奶奶说，这是镇里为发展经济，办起了工厂，占据了良田，污染了空气与河流。

In fact, exercise is one of the most important parts of keeping your body at a healthy weight. When you exercise, you burn food calories as fuel. If a person eats more calories than he or she burns, the body stores them away as fat. Exercise can help burn these stored calories.

Finally, exercising to maintain a healthy weight also decreases a persons risk of developing certain diseases, including type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.
