一粒在飞鸟口中的种子，不小心掉落在悬崖峭壁的一条缝隙里。在十指摸不着边的黑洞，它从未对生活感到失望，也从未想过放弃生长。它想;只要有一点的水分，和充足的阳光，我照样可以生活下去，不是吗?它悄悄的长出了绿芽，一天比一天高。他梦想着站在世界的最高处，以自己雄壮的身躯眺望全世界，成为最伟大的一棵树。
它穿过了缝隙，放眼看这个明亮的地方，虽说没有果园里的硕果累累，没有田野里的五谷丰登，也没有森林里的郁郁葱葱，但却有着不一样的美和体会。它觉得自己离梦想不远了，就只差一步。于是它把根越扎越深，为了吸收更加充足的水分。
暴风雨来袭了，它无情摧毁着一切，树被它刮得东倒西歪，仿佛要连根拔起，可是没有被打败，它在凶猛的暴风雨中挺直了身躯，似乎在说：‘让暴风雨来得更猛烈些吧’!
