people travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. to me, the best way of traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.

on a summer vacation i travel to refresh myself and to see the countryside. when i use my feet and walk on a grass covered path or among the hills i feel detached from the noise of the city and closer to the nature. and when i travel on foot i get more freedom. i can plan my own schedule. i can choose my own route. i can stop where i like. and i can see things and people that i might miss if i travel on a train or on a bus.

when faster and more convenient ways for travel are becoming available, i still favor using my own feet. i get much pleasure from it.

今年寒假，我在海南三亚经历了一次难忘旅行，在这里体会到了的与众不同的“炎热的冬天”。炎热的冬天？听到这个，聪明的你就要发问了。是的，只有在三亚这个神奇的地方才可以实现这不可思议的梦。

People usually start preparing for the festival one month before it comes. They prepare delicious food, and clean and decorate their homes.

On Chinese New Year’s Eve, the family all get together for a big dinner. They stay up till midnight, and then play fireworks and crackers for good luck. On the first day of the lunar New Year, children put on their new clothes and greet their parents. They are very happy to get lucky money from them.

毕业旅行前一天，也就是我最盼望的一天，我晚上睡觉时，都兴奋得睡着觉，我暗自祈祷，希望黎明赶快到来，将难熬的黑夜赶走。隔一天，我到了学校，等待同学到齐后，就开始展开毕业旅行了。

第二天，我们到天文馆看“地球漫步”的电影，看着许多人登上月球的喜悦，看着许多人在月球留下自己的脚印，让我也好想走到别人所不能去的地方。后来我们到了 木栅动物园，我先去夜行动物馆探索，因为那里是最稀奇的地方，我再那看到许多没见过的动物，像是巨尾老鼠、山猫、颚等等真是让我大开眼界；之后又去企鹅 馆，看到很多企鹅游泳的美姿美仪，也看了详细说明，发现它们都是住在南半球的；最后我们集合时间到了，我赶紧到集合会场拍照，这美不胜收的地方，将成为我 永生难忘的回忆。

第三天，我们到了月眉，我一开始都不敢坐，不过经过同学的鼓励，我还是坐了某些器材，像是黑洞迷航、小飞象等等，但是我做小飞象时，已经头晕了，害我接下来 的器材都不能玩，所以找个椅子歇息，顺便闭目养神，当我调适好自己的身体后，立刻冲去玩最后一次的银河炫风，虽然我没有玩很多器材，不过能和同学一起玩， 我就心满意足了。我们也在最后拍照，留下我们来过的证据。

现在回想起来，都让我依依不舍，回想起在动物园迷路，回想起在车上唱歌的情形，这些美好的回忆，将永远留在我心中。

There are various activities in the college, such as hiking, gathering, competitions and so on. And what impresses me most is my experience of being a volunteer teacher.

I was a freshman when the School of Foreign Languages organized a voluntary activity which aimed at providing children in poor areas with a better education. As a matter of fact, I did not show any interest in this activity, for I thought that I just wasted my time and energy without getting any pay. But finally I followed the trend and went to the interview for a try. To my surprise, I was eolled as a member of the teaching group. I became quite excited and made up my mind to prepare for the class as well as I could. I read their textbook again and again to make sure that I was familiar with the language points. What’s more, I searched on the Internet for some additional information, which I thought would help me a lot in the class. At that time, I really could not wait to give the lecture.

Fortunately, it didn’t keep me waiting too long. It was a sunny day. And we spent almost an hour in the bus. Although I was tired and sleepy, my enthusiasm overwhelmed my tiredness. The school is a small place full of various books. The children there were so lovely that they left me a deep impression. They keep asking me

questions about study and they were also curious about the college life. I was quite happy surrounded by a group of children.

I really benefit a lot from the unforgettable experience. I realize that money and some material things should not be considered as the most important thing in our life. 暑假期间，我们在家长的带领下和同学们来东莞野趣生态园旅行。

这天，晴空万里，阳光明媚，我们早早地来到醉观公园门口集合。我们出发了，一路上我们欢歌笑语，经过两个小时的车程，我们终于到达了目的地。我们和家长兵分两路：大人们负责做午饭，孩子们就跟教练和导游一起去玩游戏。有激动人心地枪战游戏，有考验反应力的打地鼠和捉鱼游戏，还有“人鸡大战”的抓鸡游戏，大家玩得不亦热乎。

但令我印象最深刻的要数攀岩活动了。攀岩是要抓稳钉在五米高的岩壁上的石头，一步一个脚印地攀到终点。大家争先恐后地来攀岩，轮到我了，我望着高高的岩壁，心里有些害怕，但又想到我是个男子汉，所以我鼓起勇气开始攀岩了。我伸出双手抓紧头顶上方的两块岩石，紧接着我抬起右脚踩稳右边的一块岩石，然后又抬起左脚踩稳左边的一块岩石，最后使劲向上一蹬，我就攀上了岩壁的第一级。我就按这个动作一直向上攀，快攀到终点了，我出于好奇，往下一看，“天啊，太高了！”我的腿不禁微微颤抖，而且越抖越厉害，我刚想要放弃，却听到下面的同学们在为我大声喊“加油！加油！”我的耳边也回响起爸爸经常说的“只要坚持，就能胜利！”这句话。于是，我又鼓起勇气，用尽全力，继续向上攀，最终，我攀到了终点。我的心里既激动又兴奋！

这真是一次难忘的旅行啊！

十月六日，爸爸妈妈带着我去凤凰山游玩。进了凤凰山公园，我一眼就看见美丽的菊花竞相开放。原来，这里正举办菊花展呢。菊花五颜六色，形态不同。它们白的像雪，粉的像霞，红的像火。菊花有大有小，花瓣有宽有窄，有弯有直，可好看了。我欣赏了半天，才恋恋不舍的离开了。

我们继续往里走，顺着山路往上爬。我一口气就爬到了山顶，把爸爸妈妈甩得老远。我站在山顶的亭子上往下看，唐山的景色尽收眼底，真壮观哪！

下山以后，我们就去划船。我选了一个越野车样式的船。爸爸当驾驶员，我当射击手。开船啦！我用枪向别的小朋友的船射击。机枪发出“哒哒”的声音和各种喊叫声，像真的打仗一样，非常好玩。我看见爸爸开船非常有趣，我的手直痒痒，就爬到爸爸身上，左手开船，右手开枪，可把我忙坏了。一不留神，就撞到别的船上了，我赶紧往后退，后面有喷水池，当我的船到那的时候，水池正好喷水，幸好船有棚，要不然我们都得变成“落汤鸡”，逗得爸爸妈妈哈哈大笑。

这次旅行我们玩的真开心哪，我会永远记住这一天。

10月2日下午，班主任段老师带领我们班的同学，开展了一次难忘的旅行。本次活动的主题是“读万卷书，行万里路”，我们先后参观了3D艺术馆、枣乡记忆馆、小枣博物馆。

下午两点，我们准时在校门口集合拍照留念，然后我们迈着整齐的步伐上了校车，开始了我们的旅行，去往我们的第一站——胡家3D艺术馆。

一进艺术馆，我们就被可爱的陶娃娃吸引住了目光，各种各样的娃娃：有坐着的、有站着的、有吹笛子的……特别惹人喜爱。墙上画满了很多夸张的画，我们大家欢呼起来，急忙拉着随行的家长拍照，有拍千手观音的，有拍和天使下棋的，有拍比武的，有拍挤牛奶的……不断摆出各种各样的姿势，惹得我们不时大笑。

随后，我们来到朱集枣乡记忆馆，先在门口合影留念，然后走进了里面，里面是一些古代的生产工具和生活用品，大家分散开，各自选择自己感兴趣的物品仔细观察。有的同学还拿起工具，模仿起了卖豆腐。

我们的最后一站是小枣博物馆，我们排着整齐的队伍认真听取讲解员阿姨细致的讲解，大家都学到了很多关于小枣的知识。

经过这次难忘的旅行，我学到了很多书本上学不到的知识，体会到了集体活动的乐趣。我以后要多多参加这种集体游学活动。

在玩耍时，我结识了一位可爱的小妹妹。她拉着我的手，笑眯眯地说：“姐姐陪我玩，姐姐陪我玩!”我点头答应：“好!那我们玩什么呢?”小妹妹歪着头，笑着说：“玩木马吧!”

于是，我们就可以玩起了木马。木马的形状像跷跷板，我喜欢美羊羊，就坐在了美羊羊的身旁，小妹妹喜欢米老鼠，就跟米老鼠坐在一起。我们玩着玩着就忘记了时间，直到爸爸提醒：“宝贝，还有更好玩的呢!别老是呆在一个地方!”

我们又去爬网。小妹妹胆小不敢去爬，我才不怕呢!一下子就爬到了网上。我鼓励小妹妹：“别怕!你一定行!”她终于鼓足勇气，慢慢爬到了网上。

我从来都没有去过村庄,今天三姨要带我去朋友家玩,他家就住在村庄里。

When I was in high school, I felt so bored about the English class, because I did not understand it. Miss Li was my English teacher, she found my attitude to her class. 我叫着，喊着，叫姐带我去医院看我爸我妈，姐就拿起汽车的钥匙，带上一些钱，便和我一起出门了。在路上，我一想起妈妈和爸爸即将要见到我的情形，美滋滋地笑起来。

中途，姐又去买了一些水果给爸爸妈妈吃。哈哈！终于到医院了，终于可以见到我的爸爸妈妈了，我兴奋不已，走到爸爸妈妈的病床前，我直接就扑到了爸爸妈妈的身上，一边笑，一边又哭了起来。我非常感谢那位陌生的阿姨——不，应该叫姐姐，不过此时，姐和爸爸妈妈都呵呵地笑起来，我被蒙在了鼓里，我真是丈二摸不着头脑了。

妈妈对我说，其实你眼前这个姐姐，是你的表姐，不过她生活在北京，所以没有见到过她。哦，原来是这么回事啊！我也笑了起来。

爸爸妈妈的伤好了以后，我们四个人便一起游玩了半个北京，不过我马上要开学读书了，我们就准备乘着列车回老家，我还叫姐姐下次一定要来我家乡玩，我要给她看许多稀奇的东西

我是菲律宾华侨，因父母留恋中国传统文化，所以从小就让我看许多中国书，还请了留学生教我汉语。暑假前，爸爸决定新学年送我回中国老家读中文学校。为了庆祝这个决定，全家人一起到博拉盖旅游。

那是一个阳光明媚的早晨，我们一到博拉盖，就看到海边已是人山人海：有的游泳，有的打球，有的开快艇，有的嬉戏玩闹……我和妹妹被这热闹的情景感染了，没等听完爸爸的安排，就四下散开了。

我们拎着鞋子，绕着沙滩走了小半圈，踩着细软的沙子，冰凉的海水拍打着小脚丫，一阵阵海风吹过，好舒服啊！

“汉茹，快过来！”爸爸朝我们兴奋地喊。我仔细一看：平坦的海面上用红色的浮球结成一个方形的游泳区，爸爸正在里面不停地挥手。爸爸是个董事长，平时都是一脸的严肃，此时却像个孩子。他的热情让我们跃跃欲试，哥哥抢先一步，“嘭”，扎进水里。我和妹妹也争先恐后地往水里跑去，不一会儿都围聚在了爸爸的四周。

站在齐腰深的海水里，感受着海水轻轻的抚摸，看着爸爸和哥哥在我四周游戏，想着自己就要离开他们了，我不禁心里一酸，眼眶潮湿了。

“怎么了？”爸爸看我流泪了，急忙赶过来。哥哥也迅速划水过来，围在我身边。

“怎么了？”“怎么了？”“怎么了？”……

我一时间说不出话来，只是一个劲儿地掉眼泪。大哥一看急了，以为我被什么东西咬了，连忙潜入水下。看着大家这么关心我，我更难过了，张着嘴巴，号啕大哭起来……

爸爸一下子明白了，赶紧把我搂在怀里，关切地问：“小茹，怎么了？是不是舍不得我们啊？”我委屈地点了点头。爸爸抚摸着我的头，语重心长地说：“记得四十多年前。爸爸跟你一般大，因为家里穷，你爷爷把我送到这里当学徒。为了生计，爸爸背井离乡，多少个夜晚，我望着家乡的方向，一个人躲在被窝里哭。”爸爸顿了顿，深吸了一口气，“现在祖国不一样了，到处蓬勃发展。以前我们离家是迫不得已。现在我们回去，是要一起建设家乡。”

父亲的话仿佛带着魔力，我停住了哭泣，抿着嘴，似懂非懂地看着爸爸。爸爸意犹未尽，接着说：“爸爸在国内已经有了很多投资，几年后，也想回国创业。你呢，是爸爸派出的‘前头兵’，可要好好表现哦！”我这才破涕为笑。大家一看“险情解除”，一个个扮着鬼脸，哄笑着，嬉闹着，一家人又沉浸在欢乐与幸福中……

真是一次令人难忘的旅行啊！不仅仅因为好玩，更因为爸爸那番意味深长的话。

8月1日，妈妈带我去了泰国的普吉岛游玩。

普吉岛风景异常美丽，有许多美丽的海岛：珊瑚岛、唯岛、PP岛、洛克岛……其中我印象最深的是攀牙湾的景色。攀牙湾里有成片的红树林，由大大小小的岛屿组成: 其中一个小岛就像一颗长在水里的大白菜；还有割喉岛，它的下面被海水不断冲刷，形成了一些洞穴，我们可以坐着小艇穿梭在其中。

由于我们去普吉岛的时候正是雨季，所以一会儿天晴，一会儿突然下起雨来，很快雨又停了。导游跟大家说：“泰国的天气就像小姐的脾气一样，说变就变。”不过这不影响大家游玩的兴致。在海边，可以玩海上摩托艇、降落伞、香蕉船、海底潜水等等，由于我还小，就只能在海边游泳嬉戏、堆沙堡。

最难忘是一次退潮后，我挽起裤脚走进浅海。突然，不知是谁大叫一声，“快来看！”原来他们发现了一个海胆，海胆浑身长满黑色的刺，一抻一缩的，我也在礁石上发现了许多海胆。还有人发现了一个大海星，海星是红色的呈五角形。后来我和小朋友在海滩上玩沙子，我们碓起大大的城堡，修了一条长长的围墙，还拿小铲子挖沙滩上的螃蟹洞，玩的不亦乐乎。

旅途中我还去参观了鸟园，看各种五彩的鹦鹉表演升旗、找东西、骑车比赛……有的鹦鹉还会说话问好。我还挨个和这些可爱的鸟儿合了影呢。

这次去普吉岛之行我觉得非常愉快，看到了美丽的风景，交到了朋友，也增长了许多知识，真是一次难忘的旅行！

今天放学回家的路上，我远远看见有一个人在垃圾箱里找什么东西，我觉得很奇怪。

我走近一看，原来是一位老奶奶，她头发花白，满脸皱纹，身上穿着破破烂烂的衣服，一双手乌黑乌黑的在垃圾箱里寻找着。突然她的脸上露出了一丝微笑。原来，她找到了几个空汽水瓶。我想：几个空汽水瓶只值几分钱，她这么大年纪，本来应该在家里舒服地生活，而她却在这么脏的地方捡垃圾，她家里一定很贫穷，她好可怜哦！

I approached to see that it was an old grandmother with grey hair, wrinkled faces, tattered clothes, and a pair of dark black hands looking in the dustbin. Suddenly there was a smile on her face. It turned out that she found several empty bottles. I think: a few empty bottles are worth only a few cents. When she is so old, she should have lived comfortably at home, but she collects garbage in such a dirty place. Her family must be poor and she is poor!

我看了心里很难过，我把妈妈给我吃早饭的钱给了老奶奶，老奶奶对我说：“你真是一个孝顺的孩子，谢谢你！”我赶忙说：“不用谢！”就背着书包回家了。
