The speech began, Johnny read his lines perfectly, and even did a dance

with his string. For Hailey she read her lines perfectly but couldn’t do any

dance; and so the winner was no other than Johnny.

Hailey: Maybe the string made you lucky Johnny, but next time the string

will cause you trouble; I am warning you again Johnny.

The next month, there was an aim competition and Johnny is going to compete

with his sister Hailey. And so it is Johnny Vs Hailey. The competition began;

the only audience was Mr. Lolo.

Mr. Lolo: Okay, Hailey is first to aim with her bow; remember the rules, if

her string breaks there is no allowed borrowing!

And so Hailey was up, she aimed her bow at 8 and got 80 points; her second

aim landed on 9; and so she got 90+80=170 points! She was about to aim until her

string broke, Hailey had no other string to tie it onto, and so there a chance

that the audience Mr. Lolo would say…

Mr. Lolo: You’re out, Hailey! No prize for you, Hahahahahaha; okay, Johnny

your up! Wish you good luck! Break a leg! Ha!

And so Johnny was up, he lifted up his arrow and aimed perfectly on ten,

and so he got 100 points; his second aim missed and landed on 9; he got

100+90=190 points; he liked Hailey broke a string on the last aim too, and so

Mr. Lolo had another chance of saying the word…

Mr. Lolo: You’re out! Ha! No prize for you too, Hahahahahaha; okay…

Mr. Lolo didn’t even finished when Johnny pulled out the string from his

pocket and tied it onto the bow; then he made his aim and won the prize. Hailey

told Johnny after the competition…

Hailey: I’m sorry Johnny, I congratulate you! And you’re right, I should

have kept the string; next time I will keep one if I have a chance.

read a book, but to play video games. One day his parents became sick of this

habit and so thought of a plan to make him like reading.

And so one day when school was over, the boy’s parents went to his school,

and found his teacher and said, “Dear teacher, I am wondering if by any chance

you could help us with a little small problem.”

The teacher agreed, and so they told them their problem. The teacher

remembered all that she needed to do, and waited until Friday arrived. When it

was the last class of the day, she told the whole class that each one of them is

going to put on a show for the whole school. The little boy thought that that

was a great idea. After he had finished school, he immediately ran home to get

materials which were toys and prepared the other things too. When he was ready,

he began to make up a routine. But he couldn’t think of anything except playing;

when it was the day before it was time to put on the show, the little boy still

didn’t come up with any routine; and so he thought and thought. When his parents

said that it was time to go to school to put on the show, the little boy was as

nervous as a chicken in a forest with a wolf beside it.

His parents said that if he couldn’t think of any routine then he will just

have to read a book. The boy had no choice, when he finished he came up with a

routine he went to school just in time for the show.

He loved making a routine by then, from that time on he loved reading, and

when he was bored of playing he began to read.

After and few years he became famous and was very proud of that day’s

lesson.

二、注意交通安全。放假期间走亲访友、外出旅游，一定要注意假期安全.遵守交通法规，横穿公路时，要走斑马线、看红绿灯——红灯停、绿灯行;不乘坐非客运车辆，不乘“黑车”、“病车”和超载车。外出旅游要有家长陪同，找正规大旅游公司，乘做安全有保险保障的车辆。

三、注意饮食安全。假期要养成良好的个人卫生习惯和生活习惯，不买不吃不新鲜和腐烂变质的食品;不吃被卫生部门禁止上市的海产品;不买无证摊贩处食品;不买无商标或无出厂日期、无生产单位、无保质期等标签不完整的食品;不吃有毒食品(如野生蘑菇、不明野菜等);不喝未经消毒、煮沸的水，不喝存放时间过长的、过时的纯净水，以防中毒。

四、注意防范偷盗、抢劫、绑架、凶杀等意外袭击和侵犯行，不凑热闹不惹事，注意保护自身生命安全和财物安全。不露富炫富，外出不带大量现金、贵重物品和重要证件。走人行道，不要靠马路太近，提包等背在右侧。尽量结伴而行。若遭遇飞车抢夺不要生拉硬夺，避免伤害自己。记住不法分子及所乘用交通工具的特征，并尽快报案。

五、开展禁止燃放烟花爆竹安全教育。为保持节日期间空气洁净、清新，减少雾霾等重污染天气发生，家长教育学生禁止燃放烟花爆竹。

六、防各类诈骗。不要轻易和陌生人聊天，更不能吃、喝陌生人给的东西，外出要和家人打招呼，说明去向，如果遇到困难直接找警察帮忙。不要和那些品行不端或不了解人品情况的人交往，不要相信骗人的花言巧语，还要相信天会下馅饼，不要陷入电信诈骗，不要陷入传销陷阱。

一、关于孩子上学放学安全

为保障孩子们上学放学校门一带的安全，学校安保老师每天在上学放学时间前后_个多小时已加强巡视，学校门口的值日教师也认真执行学校的值日制度。我们同样真诚的请家长朋友们配合学校：

1.与孩子约定接送的时间和地点，依时接送孩子，无事不要进出校园，避免造成拥堵，请各位家长理解支持。

2.与孩子约定遇特殊情况未能依时接送，孩子该怎样做(建议：可让孩子回教室看书做作业等待)。

3.与孩子约定遇事临时托亲戚朋友接送孩子，孩子该怎样做(建议：提前以电话或短信让老师转告孩子)。

4.给孩子一个好样的言传身教，自觉遵守交通规则，自觉戴安全头盔，自觉行走人行横道。

5.提醒孩子防止受人诱惑，上当受骗;教给孩子自护自救常识，提高孩子自我保护的能力。

6、请执行学校时间：请严格遵守学校时间，可教育孩子可提前_分钟到校，一定不要早来，中午要保证午休。

二、教育孩子要注意交通安全

教育子女自觉遵守交通规则，注意交通安全，不在马路上游玩嬉戏、横穿马路要走斑马线，过交叉路口等要注意过往车辆，在人行道靠右行走等，文明有序乘车，禁止子女乘坐无证照、违章超载车辆等，避免交通事故发生。孩子不满12周岁一定不要让他(她)骑自行车。

三、教育孩子要注意防溺水

要特别注意加强对子女进行游泳安全教育，要讲清楚私自外出游泳的危险性及可能导致的严重后果。禁止孩子私自下水，避免溺水事故的发生。未经家长同意，不能私自或擅自结伴外出游泳，不要到池塘、水库、河流的危险地方玩耍，严防溺水事故发生。

四、教育孩子要注意饮食卫生

教育孩子养成饭前便后洗手的良好卫生习惯，不生吃食物;教育子女不买无证照商贩出售的食品，不食用来历不明的可疑食物，以防止食物中毒事故发生。这里特别提醒各位家长：我校校外摊点较多，他们的卫生安全绝对没有保障，请家长协助学校，教育孩子一定不能吃校外摊点的不洁食物。

五、关于孩子的双休日及假期安全

不管是节日、双休日假期还是寒暑假，我们希望家长朋友们配合学校：

1.加强对孩子的安全提醒，增强孩子的安全和自我保护意识，提高孩子的自我保护能力。

2.提醒孩子注意饮食，讲究卫生，爱护身体。

3.引导孩子不到人员密集、复杂的地方，加强各种传染病防控，不与疑似人员接触，要加强防病安全教育。

4.禁止孩子进入网吧，舞厅，电子游戏机、录像室、歌舞厅等禁止未成年人进入的场所。

5.提醒孩子不能擅自外出，外出必须经家长同意或有家长带领，并遵守交通规则，文明乘车，主动让座。不乘无牌无证无安全保证的交通工具。

6.教育子女遵守有关法律规定。不进网吧，远离毒品，不参加赌博，不酗酒、不抽烟、不搞封建迷信活动，不做不参与伤害自己、伤害别人的事，不被人伤害。

7.教育子女要注意用电安全、使用煤气安全和防火安全。

8.教育孩子谨慎交友(包括网上交友)，告诉孩子什么是朋友，应该交怎么样的朋友。

soon. I like to go out for fun with her. She always knows my idea and we can

After a few hours of resting, it was time to do some evening chores. Jack

grabbed his notebook and pen, he put on his glasses; and tried to concentrate

and read about his notes he had written before bed last night.

“Going to tree house, many books on the floor; open page dinosaur, made a

wish; arrived at time of dinosaurs. Open page frog lake creek, made a wish;

arrived at adventure frog lake creek,” “Who is going to believe allthese? Not my

mother, not my father, not my teacher Mrs. Waltson…” Only his little sister

Annie, she had gone with to the time of the dinosaurs, and frog lake creek…

Suddenly there was a “Bang, bang, bang!” on the door, “Who is there?” asked

Jack, his little sister Annie pushed open the door; and said, “Can you sleep?”

“Nope, of course not, I didn’t do my evening chores; and besides, who wants to

do chores now and then?” “Do you want to go to the magic tree house?” “No, it is

too late, and mother and father would probably be angry if they figured we

aren’t in bed.” “Well I’m going,” said Annie, “All right,” answered Jack in a

sudden. He put on his jeans, and sweater, and then rushed out down stairs. Annie

came out with a flashlight; she shined it bright in Jack’s face, “Boo!” Jack was

scared, “Gotcha! Ha!” Jack was angry, “Annie, stop messing around;” “Okay, fine!

Ugh!” then Annie clipped the flashlight onto her belt.

Jack took another flashlight, then they tip-toed down stairs; when they

arrived, Jack said, “I don’t know Annie; i-i-i-i-t looks a bit scary and

dangerous…” “Oh come on scary cat! It’s just a tree house, do you want to see

the magic person and the golden medal or not!?” “Medallion, not medal;” said

Jack quietly. “Whatever, let us go and see what the golden medal looks like;

come on!” “Medallion!” said Jack, “And what if the magic person was not nice?!”

“You are such a scary cat; at least you get to take the gold medal as a reward

of you bravery.”

“Medallion!!” shouted Jack for the third time, “Come on, I know you are

caught up with this so called ‘Medallion’ thingy, let’s just go! Don’t waste

time!” after saying that, Annie climbed up the ladder all the way to the top of

the tree house; “Annie! No!” shouted Jack, but he was too late; Annie already

climbed up, Jack had no choice; he climbed up too, and when he arrived he found

the floor all covered with books, “let us make another wish so that we could

have another adventure!” “No!” cried Jack, “Well I’m going!” shouted Annie, he

found a page with a knight, she pointed to the picture; and within a second they

were surrounded by knights; “Oh no,” thought Jack.

When I am sick, the doctor always asks me to drink more hot water. Now,

drinking hot water has been most people’s habit, while my uncle tells me that

the foreign people get used to drinking cold water. This is very different. As I

am so curious the world, I want to travel around the world someday.
