七月十日那天我参加了“太原市外国语学校20__年初中提前单独招生”考试。虽然我从小学一入学，在妈妈和老师的帮助下就严格要求自己，养成了良好的学习习惯，上课认真听讲，积极回答老师提出的问题，不懂就及时向老师和同学请教，各科学习成绩一直在级部名列前茅，是学习上的佼佼者。但是面对5000多人的抢夺还是有点点不自信。进了考场我安慰自己：不要怕，要相信自己，就算是失败了也无所谓，因为自己努力过也奋斗过。发下考卷，我把一切顾虑都抛到脑后尽自己最大努力认真的写啊算啊，当交卷的铃声响后，我自信的走出了考场。我相信我能被这所学校录取。

七月十二日，经过两天等待我们来到一外看录取名单，在被录取的169人中我一眼就找到了我的名字。我高兴的乐开了花，爸爸妈妈也高兴坏了，妈妈说她被煎熬了两天老是失眠，看到我被录取的名字妈妈说她可能还要失眠多天，前面失眠是当心后面失眠是高兴。看到妈妈眼角泛起的细纹，我眼圈红了：可怜天下父母心啊！

妈妈说我考上重点中学是万里长征才开始迈出了第一步，应该不骄不躁。所以我借来初一的语文和英语，每天开始学习新的知识为以后的学习打基础。我学习我快乐！
