爷爷负责拌馅儿，他拌的馅儿最好吃！妈妈负责擀皮，她的速度好快，我们用的皮都是她一个人擀的，我和其他人负责包饺子，只有爸爸可能是假装头疼，进屋里睡觉。呵呵，他是在负责享受吗？

包饺子的时候，大家都说我包的挺好看的，我还负责把一块糖包进一个饺子里，谁吃到这样的饺子，新的一年就有好运！我把馅放在饺子皮中间，再放进糖块，之后将面皮对折，从左边开始，从底下用食指往里推，再同大拇指一起捏，右边也一样，最后再把没捏紧的地方捏捏紧，就小功告成啦。我希望大家都能吃到我包的饺子。

过年包饺子让我体会到了团圆和幸福，我喜欢过年包饺子。

今天是国庆节，妈妈说中午要吃饺子，我平时最喜欢吃韭菜鸡蛋陷的饺子，所以我也想和妈妈一块儿包饺子。

到了中午，妈妈早已把陷做好，因为我不吃肉，所以妈妈每次做饺子都要做两种馅。所有东西都准备齐全，我正准备大显身手，奶奶说什么也不让我包，嫌我包的不好看，我央求了半天没有用，只好把目光转向了妈妈，最后妈妈同意让我包，不过有一个要求只让我包素馅的。

只要让我包，不管什么陷的，我都乐意。学着妈妈的样子，我挽起了袖子准备大干一场，我左手拿片，右手用筷子往里夹馅，可我的手一点也不听话，不是把陷放多了，就是少了，要不陷掉到地上了。奶奶看了不住地训我：“看看，让你别包你不听，陷都掉地上了。“妈妈一边包，一边微笑地看着我，仿佛在说：“努力，相信你一定会包好。”

春节期间，大家都有活动，我也不例外。使我最记忆犹新的是三十晚上我们一家人在阳台上包饺子。

天渐渐有些暗了，爸爸把和好的面和拌好的馅儿放到阳台上，再把面板平放，招呼我和母亲：“包饺子喽!”我赶忙跑过去，爸爸已经开始擀面皮了。我也赶紧洗手准备包饺子。

I Like Sunny Days

I really like sunny days. My mood is very good on sunny days because the sun is shining and I can see the beautiful sky. On days when the weather is not good, I would have to stay outside, and it can become boring. However if it is sunny I can enjoy the outdoors. It is good weather for jogging, taking a walk, or riding a bike. It is even better if there is a breeze, because then it is cool so it is more pleasant to be outside. Popsicles and ice creams are very good snacks for warm, sunny days. The coldness helps me cool down and feel good. I like to play games with my friends outside. We like jumping rope, playing volleyball and badminton. If the sun is very bright, sometimes it is hard to see if the sunlight is reflected into my eyes. It would be useful to have sunglasses to block the sunlight. It feels good to sweat because of exercise, because I know I am becoming healthier.

low green hills. It has many tall buildings and wide streets. There are trees

and flowers everywhere.But it has not always been like that. In the old days, it was a sad dirty

little town. Landlords and merchants lived in the few good houses.For the working people there were only dark, unhealthy rooms in old

buildings and huts in narrow muddy streets. Nearly everyone was poor and many

had no work.Everything has changed since liberation. The people, led by the Party, have

got rid of the mud and dirt. They have put up schools, theaters, shops and

flats. They have an assembly hall and a hospital.Along the river they have built offices, hotels and parks. A lot of

星期天啊，星期天啊，我每周都在等你，当你来时，我的烦恼都抛到了九霄云外去了。

妈妈说，要把和好的面醒一醒。然后，再把剁好的馅加上醋和盐等调味品，搅拌。再舀一勺干面粉，备用。好了，我们开工吧。

妈妈说：“我们要先揉面”。我说：“好”。

于是，我和妈妈一起揉面，揉啊揉，我感受到面的柔软，非常光滑，摸起来很舒服，很享受。揉好的面是更加滑滑的，软弹的。我和妈妈就开始擀皮子了。先把面切成一小块一小块的，这样方便擀皮。擀皮子的时候，我的手有点缓不过神来，因为要擀得很快很快，不一会就得擀出很多，才能跟上妈妈的包饺子的速度。可是，面团有点不听我的指挥，一会擀出来了，一会又擀进去了，奇形怪状的。面团擀出来的皮子，好淘气。

我擀着擀着，就发现妈妈自己擀，擀完一个包一个，擀完一个包一个。我就问妈妈：“为什么要擀完一个包一个呢?”妈妈说：“因为家里空气干燥，面团又柔软，要是不擀一个包一个的话，面皮就都干了。”“哦，原来是这样啊，我知道了。”于是，我也跟着擀一个包一个，擀一个包一个。

我们先把弄好的馅，放在饺子皮上。妈妈说，包馅的时候，不能放太多，也不能放太少，要是包馅多了，就捏不上口了;要是包馅少了，吃起来就没味了。我包出来的饺子是有花边的，很像裙子下面的花边边。妈妈说，捏的时候，用大拇指和食指捏，那样捏出来的饺子漂亮。而且，要捏紧，不然里面的馅就会跑出来。

不知不觉，我妈妈两人加起来就包了104个饺子。我说：“好多啊，万一我们吃不了怎么办?”妈妈说：“不要紧，年年有余嘛。过年就得有余头。”

包好的饺子，在盘子里排成大大的队伍，场面就像学校操场上隆重的开学典礼。今天包了这么多饺子，我好开心啊!

我的记忆中有许多事能勾起我喜怒哀乐的事情，而令我记忆最深的一件事便是人生中第一次包饺子，我从中收获不少。

记得8岁那年，我去爷爷奶奶家，看到奶奶在包饺子，便问：“奶奶，您怎么在包饺子呀？”奶奶边包饺子边回答：“快过年了，奶奶准备包几盘饺子过年的时候吃。对了，我的好孙子，你正好也不会，就来和我学几手吧！”“哦，YES！”我的心里激动万分，“奶奶，就等您这句话了！”“哈哈，快坐过来吧！”奶奶笑着说。

During last summer vacation, I paid a visit to my uncle’s. It was the first time I had seen the sea. Tow years ago my uncle, a closed friend of my father, transferred from Shanxi to Yantai, a beautiful port city; and then my aunt joined him a couple months later. And a year later I became their guest and was going to stay with them for a week. I was fascinated by the vastness of the sea, the clean and soft sand on the beach, the seagulls flying in the sky and the beauty of the golden sunset clouds over the dark blue water. But I missed the sunrise each day, for I couldn’t get up early enough.

On the fifth day, the alarm clock woke me up when it was still dark outside, I hurried to the beach and stood in the cool breeze there, the sky was turning grey little by little, the sea was calm and all was so quiet that I felt I was surrounded by mysteries, then suddenly, in the faraway horizon, golden beans of light were shooting up into the sky. A moment later, a corner of the sun appeared. The sun was rising very slowly and reluctantly as if it was unwilling to leave the sea. 以前我就包过饺子，心里一点也不紧张，首先拿起一张面皮儿，用小勺子把馅儿放在面皮的中间，然后把皮儿对折捏一捏，再用食指与拇指将四周的边压紧，这样一个饺子就包好了，最后将它稳稳地立在托盘上，不一会儿就包了六个。后来我又变出了新花样，有小猪形状的，“8”字形的，还有馄饨样的，很多样子的饺子，“我真了不起！”我自然自语道。

two kilometers away from our homes, so we decided to go there by bike. We set

这时老师好像看透了我的心，走过来语重心长地说“失败是成之母，你要总结失败的原因，这样就会成功，我相信你!”听了这番话，我鼓起信心再次包饺子。这一次我认认真真地包，我放了刚好适量的肉馅，过了一会儿，我包好了，拿起来和老师相比差不多，我又连续包了几个饺子越包越好，我高兴地喊着“我学会了包饺子了!”

包饺子的第一步是和面，我准备好了水和面粉，我看着母亲非常轻松，不一会就和好一团面。看着母亲我已迫不及待了，迅速的将手放进面里，面粉像蚂蚁一般粘在我手上，当我拿出来时我的手上早已爬满了面粉，我费了九牛二虎之力才和好了一团面。

接下来要切韭菜和剁肉。我先将韭菜放好，一刀下去韭菜被分成一粒粒。切着切着，我感到非常无聊，正在我发呆时，菜刀像不受控制一样，切向我的手。我猛然回神，躲开了菜刀的“进攻”，虽然还是被切到了一点。切韭菜的过程令我惊心动魄，但劳累程度却不及剁肉的一丝一豪。我又拿起那准备图谋不轨的菜刀，切起肉。一开始还很轻松，不一会儿就感到了累意。然后，我又拿起了一把水果刀来一起切，结果好久都没有剁好，此时我已经不想再切了，可那个想吃饺子的胃却不许我这样做。我把吃奶的力气都拿出来，终于把肉剁好了。

把饺子的材料准备好了，开始包饺子了。我把一张饺子皮粘水，放上料。因为我太贪心了，放了很多料，把小白娃娃的肚皮撑破了一个洞，当我把那个洞补上时，另一个口又开了，我只好拿另一张饺子皮包上了。我只好重振旗鼓，又包了一个，有了上一个的经验，这次我只放了一点料，好不容易包好一个，正当我想把它当作我的得意之作时，它却想不开跳进了水里。我心灰意冷，悲痛万分。可我渐渐的找到了感觉，包出了一个个形态各异的饺子，有小太阳、有花、还有山冠形状的。

晚上吃着我劳动的成果，我觉得比外面的好吃多了，我深深地体会到了古人说的“自己动手，丰衣足食。”果然劳动过的食物才是最美味的。

Dear Sir,

I was very interested in your advertisement in todays edition of The Evening Post and I should like to apply to be a member of the Amazon Expedition team.

I am twenty-three years old and have an honors degree in Botany from Bath University. Since leaving university I have been working in a research laboratory but my contract comes to an end in six weeks. I would particularly like to join the expedition for the opportunity it would give me to study the plant life of the area.

I enjoy several outdoor activities including rowing and rock climbing and I consider myself to be both fit and healthy enough to undertake such an expedition.

If you would like me to attend an interview, I would be able to come at any time convenient to you, (J1) my employers have agreed to give me time off for the purpose.
