Last summer, intolerable heat, so mom and Dad brought our family went to see the ice sculpture museum.

How time flies! One month has passed before I could take any notice of it. This is the start of my freshman year in Fudan University. At the very beginning, everything and everyone is strange to me. But now, everyday and in everyway, I am getting better;I am getting used to it.

I would like to tell you two things in my university life that are of great importance and interest.

Freedom is what I am looking forward to since the very first day of my primary school. A lot of people said to me, "Study hard, and you will get freedom when in university." But when I really entered university, I find the real situation is different.Freedom costs me a lot. If I refuse to wash my clothes, for example, they will just lay there, unclean. Luoyang City has been the capital of nine dynasties since the time of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770BC-221BC). There are many historical sites to be viewed in Luoyang as well as the opportunity to purchase replicas of the famed Tang three-glaze horses. Luoyangs Longmen Grottoes, famous for its grand treasure trove of Chinese Buddhist statues, are located 12km (7 miles) south of Luoyang. First sculpted and chiseled around 493 AD when the capital of the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534) was moved from Datong City to Luoyang, the grottoes of Luoyang house an awe-inspiring collection of sculpted Buddha and other religious subjects.

Kaifeng, one of the ancient capitals, also boasts the following buildings worthy of a visit: Iron Pagoda (Tie Ta) of the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), Dragon Pavilion (Long Ting) - site of imperial palace of the Song and Jin dynasties - and the 1400-year-old Xiangguo Temple which is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in China. Also on view in Kaifeng are ruins of the Shang Dynasty, an important part of human cultural and historic heritage. The Shang Dynasty Ruins, also known as the Yin Ruins, are famous because of the unique style of the large palace and its grand mausoleums, in which emperors of the Shang Dynasty are buried. The bronze vessels of the Shang Dynasty, which were both finely decorated and popularly used by the citizens of the Shang Dynasty, are well-known at home and abroad.

能相见便是缘份。我们买的水、零食大家都一起分着吃，训练的过程中有的同学水喝完了我们就分他点儿。大家还要在一起学习、生活，本来就该互相帮助，团结友爱。回想那短短五天军训的日子，一种潜藏在心中已久的感受便油然而生。每天吃饭时都与苍蝇共食。的确，军训是苦的，但苦的美丽，苦的动人，苦的让人难以忘怀。在军训时，我们和教官在烈日下同甘共苦，他们对每一个动作都要求严格，一发现我们的动作不规范，不到位，便细心的给我们讲解，纠正我们的错误，争取让我们把每一个动作做好。尤其是在站军姿时，我们的双肩酸痛，双腿麻木，让我们真正地体会到苦和累。但我们不需抱怨它的苦难，它的辛苦和劳累，是在磨练我们像树一样坚挺向上，不屈不挠的意志，它带给了我们一个尊严，一种力量，一种不向任何权势卑躬的品质。正所谓人生苦短，年轻时吃点苦，受点累算什么。俗语说 ：“不经历风雨，何以见彩虹;没有一份寒彻骨，哪来梅花扑鼻香。”嘛。

Firstly, keeping pets in dormitory will make dormitory smell bad and cause noise pollution. Pets couldn’t go to toilet and flush their waste as human does, so they just urine everywhere, which makes the place smelly. Besides, pets can make lots of noisy which is annoying especially at night. For other students who live with the owner, it is absolutely a disaster for they have to suffering from both the terrible smell and the disturbing noise.

Secondly, raising pets can be time-consuming and even affect their study. For students, they are supposed to spend more time studying. If they put their focus on their pets, then they will have less time to study. Not to imagine that they will do good in their study.

其次，养宠物很浪费时间甚至会影响学生的学习成绩。作为学生，应该多花时间在学习上。如果学生把精力都花在宠物的身上，那么学习的时间会更少。更不用说他们的学习成绩会好到哪里去。

In conclusion, I don’t think it is good for students to raising pets on campus in consideration to the good of the public hygiene and also their improvement in their academic performance.

总之，考虑到学校的公共卫生和学生的学习成绩，我不认为在学校养宠物会对学生有好处。

在金秋送爽的时节，我怀着无限的憧憬来到了我的新学校—绵阳外国语实验学校。

我们寝室里住着六个同学，我们来自四面八方，我们团结友爱，是一个温暖、和谐的小集体。

我们已经开学三周了，在学校里，我们发生了许多事情，特别是在寝室里发生的事情令人难忘。

入学报道、开学典礼、新生教育，序幕过后便开始了真正的大学。学习是大学的主旋律。再美好的活动也是点缀，鲜花之绿叶位置而已，此乃我的第一悟!先澄清几个误区：第一盲目追求学生高-干，本末倒置。第二为发展特长，忘记自己职责。第三高喊大学知识无用论。补充一点，通过我对不同群体大学生的了解，不容质疑的一点是他们认为是学校里学有所成是最大的乐趣。所以，走进大学，至关重要的一步是找准方向，树立信仰。初入大学懵懵懂懂的我，以自己的切身经历教导我要珍惜大学求知的得天独厚的条件。我有种美梦的感觉，都说大学是一座乐园，可只有围城里的人才能真切体味到“其中之乐”!意识到自己对大学肤浅的认识后，也为了未来美好的生活，为了自己的理想，我选在大学再次起航，开始挖掘知识的金山。高中的学习的惯性给我是很大的帮助，勤奋已经成为一种习惯，一勤天下无难事，所以大学课程的学习并没有给太大的压力，要说压力那就是争取优秀的压力，我认为这是每一个有追求的青年应该有的忧患意识。这里我想强调一点，学习是一件很痛苦的事情，没有坚韧的毅力很难有所建树的，一个对学习本身感兴趣，对知识有着宗教般虔诚的人都应该是国际大师。我想更多的知识分子没有那么高尚的心灵境界，他们只是由结果驱动的，征服知识后的成就感是他们最大的乐趣，然而重要的是他们在这个层次上升华，进而投入更深的探索中，有更大的作为。所以我们不要给自己什么不感兴趣的理由了，世界上没有哪个人对痛苦情有独钟的，让我们一起享受艰辛追求的果实吧，那是一件多么幸运的事情啊，自身升值的同时又收获幸福!

我想，其实大学知识要求并没有高中深刻，我不相信一个经历过高考的人拿不下课程的基本要求。大学知识的一个显著特点是强调一个广度，要我们对知识网络的每一个结点都有所了解。只要我们平常认真通读一遍教材，独立完成作业，有一定自己思考，课程考试应该是高分。思维是最美丽的花朵，每一门课程都是我们锻炼思维能力的重要经历，偷懒就是放弃了机会，放弃了提高自己，选择了落后于人。
