in life. I can’t agree with it anymore. Last week, I woke up very early in the

morning, so I decided to take a walk. The street was very quiet and there were

many old people dancing in the square. Without many cars, I realized the city

looked so clean and beautiful. Some coffee shops decorates so well, which

attrated my eyes. The city was coverd by the green trees, which made it a green

city. I liked this feeling so much. At this moment, I found the city was so

lovely, I just ingored its beauty usually.

In my memory, a lot of things happened in the Spring Festival last year, but the happiest thing for me was to put up fireworks and watch the Spring Festival Gala.

On the thirty night of the year, after our family had finished the dinner, I could not wait to wait in front of the TV set, waiting for the start of the Spring Festival Gala. Chinese New Year starts with the new moon on the first day of the new year

and ends on the the full days later. In china,people regard Spring Festival as

the most important thing.People studied and worked throughout the year.No matter

On Spring festivals eve,the whole family prepare the dinner.Of

course,dumplings is essential.In the

evening,family members always sit at the television and watch Spring

Festival Gala.At 0:00,people set off firecrackers and fireworks,at the same

time,children pay New Year,s call to old people.The old people give money to the

children as a lunar new year gift.Usually,people stay up late or all night.

On lunar New Years Day, the Chinese family eat vegetarian dumplings which

imply they will plain and neat in this year. People change their new

clothes,this stands for a new beginning.Next,people visit relatives with some

gifts.The second day is son-in-laws festival,the husband and married women

visit their side of the family.In a word,Chinese attach great importance to

Spring Festival.

刚上课，老师就说：“今天，我们来玩游戏！”“好，好！”大家异口同声地说。游戏名称叫做“啄木鸟行动”，紧接着，老师宣布游戏规则：班长给每人发一根吸管当啄木鸟的嘴，橡皮筋当“虫子”，让我们一个接一个传递。过程中不能用手碰“嘴巴”，谁碰谁犯规。

游戏开始了，“啄木鸟妈妈”把“虫子”传给“大儿子”，但“大儿子”正要把“虫子”给“妹妹”时，狡猾的“虫子”溜走了。老师宣布比赛结束。我真恨这条小虫子，让我没办法吃到“虫子”！第二轮开始了，“妈妈”把美味的“虫子”叼给“大女儿”，从“大女儿”到汤乾演一直很顺利。但到了史佳鑫那，笑话上演了：史佳鑫好像遇到麻烦。你瞧，那“虫子”橡皮筋不偏不倚正好滑到嘴唇中间，真是欲上不能，欲下不得，把他急得满脸通红。可台下的小观众们却笑得前仰后合，乐得合不拢嘴。您别急着笑，看史佳鑫灵机一动，把吸管一挑，听话的“虫子”终于到了“嘴”尖。该轮到我接“虫子”了，史佳鑫那“嘴巴”就像顽皮的孩子，一会儿跑到我的鼻子上，一会儿又跑到我嘴巴上，我被他气得火冒三丈，但又不能半途而废。我只好小心地移动“嘴巴”，可“虫子”就是那样不解人意，软绵绵地东摇西晃……真是又好气又好笑。终于费了九牛二虎之力才把“虫”叼住。就这样“虫子”在紧张而又有趣的氛围中传递着……

通过这个游戏，我明白了团结协作力量大的道理。

When we were children, we often say that I want to grow up, or I want to be

an adult. As children, we cannot do many things, while after we grow up, we can.

However, we often complain that I don’t want to grow up when we become adults

actually.

Firstly, growing up means more responsibilities. We should make a living by

ourselves or we should support our parents when they can’t earn enough money to

make a living.

Econdly, after graduation, we need to work instead of accomplishing

nothing. We should have a target and work for it, so we have pressure on

jobs.

Every coin has two sides. Grow up can also broaden our horizon, offer us an

有惊无险

第二天在我们的期待中迎来了。早上，我揉了揉睡眼蒙眬的双眼，眼皮沉重得不得了，很快，我又躺了下去。突然，我猛的跳起来，头重重地撞到了上床铺，又马上坐了下来。

我一手揉着脑袋，一手揉着眼睛，往自己身旁一看，咦？鸡蛋呢！意识模糊的我如同被人从头上泼了一盆冷水，瞬间清醒。心想：不会是我晚上乱动，把鸡蛋弄丢了吧！要知道我昨天为了要它安放好，可废了不少心思呀！我心急如焚，如热锅上的蚂蚁般，又像齐天大圣孙悟空，只见我一会儿转来转去，一会儿急得全身发抖，一会儿抓耳挠腮，样子着实滑稽。

这时，我眼前浮现出它孤独无助的模样，缩在角落里浑身发抖，嘴里不住的喊着：“主人主人，你在哪儿？快来找我呀，不要放弃我，坚持就是胜利！”可怜它比卖火柴的小女孩还要惨，连根火柴都没有，只有无情的泪水、无边的黑暗和无尽的绝望。

可是我不想放弃，因为我相信坚持一定会迎来成功！我镇定下来，把床上的每个角落都搜索一遍，枕头下，被子下，衣服下，毯子下……就差没把床翻过来了。我失望了，看着乱成一团的床，心里不由的烦躁，周围的温度似乎也下降了几分，我感到绝望，心里正准备给它默哀。可不知道怎么回事，一想到它还在黑暗的角落里，心里就不由的一阵抽痛，顿时我斗志满满，似乎非找到它不可，现在的我，固执得有些可怕。

我突然想到一句话“心静自然凉！”我沉下心来，认真的想了想，床上没有？那床下呢？我像是突然得到了点拨，连忙往床下一看，它正在那安稳的睡大觉呢！我欣喜若狂！那种失而复得的心情涌上心头。

再临失败

自从我的“一号”蛋碎了后，我变得小心翼翼多了，尽量与人保留一米的距离，而我的2号则片刻不离身。

可是，意外还是发生了。体育课解散后我不敢乱动，就站在乒乓球桌边看何梦伊和黄锦添打球儿，我就是他们的捡球小将。

这时，何梦伊打过去的球黄锦添没接着，乒乓球直直落下，向一辆车子滚过去，黄锦添大叫一声，我赶紧一个健步跑过去，弯腰，一手撑地，一手在乒乓球即将溜入车底的瞬间将球捡起，动作如行云流水般一气呵成。这吋我耳边响起一丝碎裂的声音，我连忙起身，将完好的乒乓球送到何梦伊手上，再拿起手中的蛋一看，呀！碎了一小块，一定是刚刚撑地的时候压坏的，但不幸中的万幸，我没太用力，只碎了一丁点，而且里面的膜没破，它支撑着蛋清和蛋黄不流出来，看上去煞是辛苦。这时，黄锦添和何梦伊走了过来，看见我的蛋碎了，大叫着问：“你的鸡蛋怎么碎了，给我看一下吧！”黄锦添拉起我的蛋，叹了口气，说：“既然碎了，那不妨把它弄烂算了。”话音刚落，她已经伸手扒了一小块下来，它的伤口更大了。“别！”我大叫着，吸取上次的教训，我毫不犹豫的把它夺了过来，小心翼翼地把它棒在手心，似掌上明珠般，我自言自语道：“它是一条生命，宝贵的生命！”我的手轻轻抚摸着它的伤口，似乎在安慰它。

终于熬到了下午放学，可没想到在放学的时候，悲剧发生了！我的手上拿着它，它最薄弱的一面，也就是有缺口的一面向上，在狭小的走道中，我和徐妩艺同时转身，只不过她要拍我的肩，举起的双手正好插过了它的伤口，我愣了一会儿，当冰凉的蛋清从我手中滑过，我才反应过来，马上跑去垃圾桶，闭上眼，将它送进了垃圾桶，它最后的归宿……对此，我只能说：“对不起，对不起，我又没保护好你……”

心如刀绞，但也无可奈何。

这个时候，你会看到一个小女孩，小心翼翼地拿着她的三号蛋，正在一步一步往教室挪去，那个小女孩就是我。

现在我已经到了教室，将我的“宝贝”缓慢地放在桌上，轻轻地放下书包，拿出书，大声地朗读了起来。

因为前两个蛋的阵亡，我的神经一直都是绷紧的，不为别的，只为了对1、2号蛋的承诺。

但是，计划总赶不上变化。大课间，我正在攻克数学难题，这是我的身旁闪过一个人影，那是谁？我抬眼一看，是破蛋专家---周李珏妙！听说他刚刚才把成毅的蛋弄碎了，我的蛋可不能被她拿到！我连忙想护住蛋，低头一看，却丝毫不见蛋的踪影，这时我耳边传来破蛋专家的笑声，呀！我的蛋怎么跑到她的手上去了！我瞪着她，咬牙切齿地说：“还给我，3、2、1！”她绕着教室跑了一圈，然后把我当作宝贝一样的蛋丢到了我的桌上。何松眼疾手快，比我先一步拿到蛋，然后一摸，张大嘴巴，吃惊的说：“碎了。”我无语，心是满满的愧疚，唉！没了，都没了……

我心如刀绞，看着它们一个又一个接连去世，我的心已经麻木了。

《左传》中，“一鼓作气，再而衰三而竭”意思是：刚开始的时候，斗志满满，可后来失败了。一次，两次，三次都失败了，便对这没有希望了。

我又何尝不是这样呢？挫折在我心头上，久久不散。

“不行，我不能辜负它们对我的希望！”我突然想起之前对他们的承诺，想起母亲平日里对我的照料，一下子充满了斗志，不到最后一刻，就不要轻易言弃！

最后的倒计时---有惊无险

经历了5天离开了三个蛋，但今天是这个活动的第六天了，还差一天，活动便圆满结束了，因此我特别的小心。

拿着手中的4号蛋，我又忧又喜。忧，是因为怕它碎。喜，是因为活动快结束了，而且今天是周末，不怕别人故意破坏。手俯上它的外衣，心情也不由得好了起来！可就是因为这样的放松才差点导致它要逝世。

我把它拿在手上，心情简直好到爆，手也不由得动了起来，我把它抛向空中，又稳稳的接住，这样又抛又接，反复了几次后，便有了失误。只见我把它高高地抛起，它落下时伸出手去接，没想到迟了一步，它从我的指尖滑落，笔直的坠向桌面，一声“啪”的声音唤醒了我，我赶紧拿起它，看到上面的一点碎裂，我不仅花容失色，冰凉而又颤抖的手抚上它的伤口，不仅在自责自己，也在安慰着它。

我呼了口气，怎料到，它又从我的手边溜去，又直直的坠向了桌面，这一次我是连死的心都有了呀！我赶紧捧起它，呀！两次竟摔到同一处地方！我只见它的伤口又变大了些！不过它的生命力竟如小强般顽强！现在仍还是活得好好的，我喜笑颜开。

[初中英语作文：竞选班长

今天是星期六，顾老师带我们写作组的全体同学来到市图书馆，我们满脸都是兴奋，在这里能真切地感受到书的魅力，文化的气味。

刚到图书馆的时候，我们同学都是七嘴八舌，像一只只刚出笼的小鸟，突然感到世界的新鲜，所以欢喜雀跃，叽叽喳喳地叫个不停。

吕子同学也是毫无头绪，她此刻的想法和我是不谋而合，“对，去问问顾老师！”我们俩一起说道。

我们找到了顾老师，向顾老师说了我们找书的情况，顾老师听了脸上露出无奈的笑容对我们道：“这么盲目地找，怎么能找到？你们不会动动脑经啊！”接着顾老师提示我们到电脑中查出索取号，根据电脑里的记录去有目的的寻找。

我们按照顾老师的提示，终于都找到了书的索取号，但不幸的是，这本书已经被借走了，我只好垂头丧气地找到顾老师：“顾老师，我的书被借走了。”

“那换一本吧。”顾老师拿着我的笔，在我的纸上写上了《查泰莱夫人的情人》，并指着前排书架告诉我说，“你在这一排找。”这时，刚刚用索取号找到书的吕子同学连叫不公平。

我找到之后快速地翻看了《查太莱夫人的情人》这本书，书中主要是通过女主人公康妮和两个男人之间的关系来展现康妮的反叛和追求。而麦勒斯因为有男子汉的气质得到了康妮的爱。

A Present For Mother’s Birthday.

Everyone should give his mother a present when his mother’s birthday is

coming. It is 25th May Sunday. Today is Han Mei’s mother’s birthday. So she

wanted to give her mother a special present. What present should she give? Maybe

a bunch of flowers a birthday card are the best presents. A card is cheaper. But

it is bad for trees. The more I buy cards, the more trees will be cut by people.

So what another present should she give? Let me tell you this present.

It was five o’clock. It was time to surprise her mother. When Han Mei’s

mother came home, Han Mei said Happy Birthday to her mother. Then she cleaned

her mother’s feet. As you can see, her mother was very surprise.

One of my favorite celebrities are great nightingale.Florence Nightingale was born in Britain in 1820,a wealthy family.Her parents hope she study of literature and art.Regardless of her parents objection,resolutely choose a nurse.By the 1950s,the Crimean war,Britains battlefield warriors mortality at 42%.Florence Nightingale initiative for field nurses.She tried to eliminate all kinds of difficulties,the solution for injuries to food and supplies for them,the nursing.Every night,her hand,the lamp patrol tele-education affectionately known her for ms lantern.After the war,the nightingale was returned to England,people for a national hero.In 1910,nightingale died.For the expression of her admiration,people put her birthday - May 12th as "international nurses day".After the nightingale died,follow her wills,not a state funeral.Later she is "etc the angel" and "lantern."

“叫李蛋蛋，”妹妹插嘴道。“为什么姓李？”还没等妹妹说完我又插嘴道。“因为那上面签了个李字。”妹妹很直接地说。

“还不如叫李萌萌呢！”我反驳道。“嗯，这个名字，挺好听的，哈哈……”妹妹笑点低。

“好了，那它的衣服好看吗？”我用期待的眼神看着妹妹。“不好看。”妹妹驳了我一双“卫生球”

于是，妹妹将我的纸扯掉，用保鲜袋包住了鸡蛋。唉，只好这样了。这个鸡蛋会和我发生什么故事呢？

Sunrise at Sea

I would often get up early to watch the sunrise when it was not yet quiet light and all was quiet except for the droning of the ship engine.

The sky was pale with a bluish blue. Soon a streak of pink dawn broke over the horizon，expanding gradually and becoming brighter and brighter. Knowing that the sun was about to rise, I had my eyes fixed on the distant edge of the sea.

As expected, the sun soon appeared revealing half of its face, which was very red but not bright It kept rising laboriously bit by bit as if weighted down with a heavy burden on its back until，after breaking through the rosy clouds;it completely emerged from the sea aglow with a lovely red. Then，before I knew it, the dark red orb began to shine blazingly, dazzling my eyes until they stung and all of a sudden lighting up the surrounding cloud.

Sometimes，hidden by the clouds, the sun nonetheless shed its rays straight onto the sea water, making it difficult for me to distinguish between the sky and the sea because what I saw in front of me was nothing but a wide expanse of brilliant light.

Sometimes, with thick layers of dark clouds hanging in the sky, the sun was hardly visible to the naked eye. But its radiance managed to show through the dark clouds to edge them with golden lace. Then, after gradually breaking through the tight encirclement, it came into full view and even dyed the dark clouds purple or scarlet. At the moment, apart from the sun，the clouds and the seawater, I too was luminous.

Wasnt that a marvelous spectacle?
