Xiamen is a major city on the southeast coast of the Peoples Republic of

China.It is administered as a sub-provincial city of Fujian province .

The night of November 12th, 2010 was indeed a glorious night for our Chines, because the Opening Ceremony of Asian Games was held on Haixinsha Island in Guangzhou. Over 7000 people took part in it.

All of the performances were impressive, but the most interesting one was Sail on Cloud. During that programme, 180 performers were hung in the air to dance. How wonderful it was! Every audience burst out praise. I couldn’t help shouting. But it was a pity that I just watched it from TV. How I wish I were there!

Today, many people, especially young people, are phone freaks. They are addicted to their mobile phones. They always spend too much time chatting or watching movies on their mobile phones. They have less time to communicate with their friends and family members. They often feel anxious without mobile phones.

前几天老师让我们准备一个生鸡蛋，星期一带到学校去。你一定奇怪吧，为什么要带生鸡蛋去学校呢？告诉你，品德书上有一个活动叫护生鸡蛋，让每个同学都当一回蛋爸爸或蛋妈妈。

星期一早上，我向妈妈要了一个土鸡蛋，用一个塑料口袋来装鸡蛋，鸡蛋装进去以后我将口袋卷起来，围着鸡蛋绕了几圈，形成了一个不容易碎的保护膜。

该上学了，我刚想把鸡蛋放进书包里，可一想：“放进书包里易碎。”所以我就把它捧在手心里，在上学的路上我小心翼翼走着，生怕鸡蛋摔碎了。到了坐位上，我轻轻地把它放进抽屉里。上课了，我的眼睛盯着黑板，内心却想的是鸡蛋。

上午总算过去了，真是有惊无险啊！到了下午，第一节课下课，我跑去上厕所时，有种不祥之感，我赶紧回来一看，果然防不胜防，桌子已经被撞斜了，书落在地上，鸡蛋也在抽屉里撞碎了。

从这次活动中，我发现自己有点粗心大意，我一定要改掉它。

An Activity

Someone said here Lei Feng comes in March and goes in April. I thought they were wrong. This afternoon the students of our class went to the bus stop to help the drivers clean the buses.

As soon as the bus stopped at the station, a group of students got on it. Some cleaned the windows, some swept the floor, and others cleaned the wall inside. We worked hard while talking and laughing. When we found some coins lying on the floor, we picked them up and gave them to the conductors or the drivers.They were very happy and said, "It is very nice of you."

Yesterday ,I went to a zoo with my parents .

When we got to the zoo, we climbed up a little hill first. We can see many kangaroos on the hill, I played with some kangaroos. Then, we went to a pond. I fished in the pond, and got a big fish and 2 small fishes. I was very happy at that time. After fishing, we walked on grass. There are many parrots on the grass. And we were surprised that one of them can speak English. I spoke to it, and it said ‘hello’ to me. That made a lot of fun for me.

In the afternoon, we went to see monkeys, pandas, snakes and big sharks. And I took many photos from them. I also rode a horse and painted a mask for fun.

When we back home, it almost got drak. But I’m very happy, because I had a good time at the zoo that day

It was a hot day during my summer holidays in 2003. My mother and I got on the bus which would take us to the village where my grandma lived. It was so hot that I felt very thirsty. Then I began to think of the sweet big watermelons and other fruits in Grandma’s house. I could hardly wait to arrive there and see my grandma.

It took us one more hour to get there. When we walked into the house, Grandma was busy preparing lunch in the kitchen. It seemed that she was very glad to see us, which I knew from the big smile on her wrinkled face. She brought out a big watermelon and cut it. It was so nice to eat the watermelon on such a hot day.

After lunch my mother fell asleep and I asked my grandma to tell me a fairy tale. We sat on the bed and she began to tell it. I listened to her quietly. It was not long before I fell asleep, too. I was dreaming when a terrible voice woke me up. I saw Grandma was lying on the ground with blood streaming down from her mouth. I couldn’t believe my eyes. How fearful a sight it was! I hurried to wake my mother up. We took her to the hospital in a hurry. But it was too late to save her. My beloved grandma’s heart stopped beating when we got to the hospital. You’ll never imagine how sad we felt then.    Grandpa was very well all the time. I had never imagined that she would leave us so soon. That evening I lay in bed alone. My eyes were full of tears. Three years ago, I was a cool and detached girl. I never helped others or cried, because I thought that was very boring.

My father bought a computer as a birthday present for me last year. It

becomes my best friend in my room. Id like to play on the computer as soon as I
