Today I was sad because I was blamed. The day before yesterday, my father gave me a tast. He told me to finish math exercises and he would check today. I have to days to finish them. 有的同学没设保护层，就把蛋放在书包里，一进教室就挤破了。我更加自信了。到贴标签的时候了，老师要求把标签贴到蛋上，我傻眼了！我再三问老师能不能不拿出来，老师说不行。我只好把包装一层一层的解开，小心翼翼的把鸭蛋拿出来。当时我很紧张，生怕把鸭蛋捏碎或摔碎。贴上标签后，我把蛋放在桌子上，正在这时，桌子不知被谁碰了一下，鸭蛋骨碌碌滚了起来，虽然我以“迅雷不及掩耳之势”伸出手，终究还是没能挽回局面。刚才的骄傲马上变成了沮丧。

虽然我保护了不到一天，但是我的感受还是挺深的。我体验了当母鸡的辛苦。我在乡下看到有的母鸡往蛋上一坐，蛋就被坐碎了；有的母鸡站着下蛋，蛋就摔碎了……我明年一定要保护适当，不要再发生今年这样的囧事。

One July morning, as he was leaving to go to the cornfield, he said :

"Edwin, you can pick up the potatoes in the field today if you want to do that.

" Then he drove away with his horses.

The day passed, and I did not have any desire to pick up potatoes. Evening

came and the potatoes were still in the field. Gramp, dusty and tired, led the

horses to get their drink.

September in the wonderful days of summer and youth.
