三、定好目标就应给朝着这个梦想而奋斗，并坚信自己一定可以做到。

四、不能遇到挫折就放弃，要越挫越勇。

我们改变不了曾经，但可以改变现实；我们不能预知明天，却可以回想过去。想想自己作对的，做错的，该做的，不该做的，还有对以后的憧憬……在通往理想的道路上必然会遇到各种各样的困难，面对挫折，我一定们要坚持，对！只有坚持并付出行动才能实现我们的理想。让我们为自己的梦想而努力，而奋斗吧！

I would often get up early to watch the sunrise when it was not yet quiet light and all was quiet except for the droning of the ship engine.

The sky was pale with a bluish blue. Soon a streak of pink dawn broke over the horizon，expanding gradually and becoming brighter and brighter. Knowing that the sun was about to rise, I had my eyes fixed on the distant edge of the sea.

As expected, the sun soon appeared revealing half of its face, which was very red but not bright It kept rising laboriously bit by bit as if weighted down with a heavy burden on its back until，after breaking through the rosy clouds;it completely emerged from the sea aglow with a lovely red. Sometimes, with thick layers of dark clouds hanging in the sky, the sun was hardly visible to the naked eye. But its radiance managed to show through the dark clouds to edge them with golden lace. Then, after gradually breaking through the tight encirclement, it came into full view and even dyed the dark clouds purple or scarlet. At the moment, apart from the sun，the clouds and the seawater, I too was luminous.

I have a lot of friends but Toshi is my best friend.He is a boy. Both of us are good at English, so we often have a chat in English in our spare time. After school, we often play football together on the playground. He runs so fast that I can not catch up with him. He is an excellent student. He not only gets good marks in all subjects but also is very kind and modest. He loves popular songs and also classical music.

When memory began for me, my grandfather was past sixty-a great tall man

with thick hair becoming gray. He had black eyes and a straight nose which ended

in a slightly flattened tip. Once he explained seriously to me that he got that

flattened tip as a small child when he fell down and stepped on his nose.

The little marks of laughter at the corners of his eyes were the prodnct of

a kindly and humorous nature. The years of work which had bent his shoulders had

"Edwin, you can pick up the potatoes in the field today if you want to do that.

" Then he drove away with his horses.

The day passed, and I did not have any desire to pick up potatoes. Evening

came and the potatoes were still in the field. Gramp, dusty and tired, led the

horses to get their drink.

"How many bags of potatoes were there?" Gramp inquired. "I dont know.

"

"How many potatoes did you pick up?"

"I didnt pick any. " "Not any! Why not?"

"You said I could pick, them up if I wanted to. You didnt say I had to.

In the next few minutes I learned a lesson I would not forget: when Gramp

said I could if I wanted to, he meant that I should want to.

Gram hated cruelty and injustice. The injustices of history, even those of

a thousand years before, angered her as much as the injustices of her own

day.

She also had a deep love of beauty. When she was almost seventy-five, and

had gone to live with one of her daughters, she spent a delightful morning

washing dishes because, as she said, the beautiful patterns on the dishes gave

Such were the two people with whom I spent the months from June to

September in the wonderful days of summer and youth.

“现在你们知道店里为什么要挂光盘了吧!”陈思源妈妈说。那就今天我们也开始‘光盘’吧!”陈芷涵大叫。“好的。那我们怎么能做到‘光盘’呢?”妈妈紧跟着问。“那就少点一些菜。”陈思源出主意了。“好，你们先上去，我们点菜。”我们快速跑到楼上，找好位置坐下。不一会，菜上来了，跟平时不一样，这次的菜只有六菜一汤，早已饿得饥肠辘辘的我们开始狼吞虎咽地吃了起来。

不一会儿，我们三个就吃得肚儿滚滚圆，开始玩自己的游戏，而六个大人则还在有滋有味地边聊边吃。没过多久，陈思源爸爸叫道：“小的们，‘光盘’行动开始了。”“耶!”我们欢呼，然后快速回到座位。

在最后的分手时，我们三个约好以后天天都要发扬“光盘”精神，让垃圾桶里不再出现剩饭剩菜，做个真正的“光盘族”!

在一片森林里，有一只寒号鸟，冬天即将来临大家都在忙着搭窝而他却在享受明媚的阳光。不久，其他鸟类的窝都搭成了而他的窝至今都不见踪影，晚上到了，寒风阵阵，大家都进窝休息了而他在外面冻得直哆嗦：“哆啰啰，哆啰啰，寒风冻死我，明天就垒窝。”一夜的忏悔伴随着寒冷的冬夜就这样过去了，第二天阳光依旧明媚，照的他身上暖洋洋的，垒窝的念头随之而打消了：“天气真暖和，明天再垒窝，明天再垒窝。”到了晚上，依旧寒风阵阵，同样的天气伴随着同样的哀嚎。第三天，在明媚的阳光下他又打消了垒窝的念头，在第三天晚上，寒号鸟被冻死了。这是一个悲剧，但丝毫不能激起我的同情。因为这场悲剧的始作俑者正是他自己。

我之所以选择这个故事作为文章的开头是应为我觉得他跟材料有异曲同工之妙，材料中的那个年轻人一直在观察教练的方法却始终没有行动，不管教练用的是什么方法，但他却教会了大家游泳。而这个年轻人虽然找到了问题的本质所在，但他却没有学会游泳。他只能算是“语言上的巨人，行动上的矮子”，着实有些可笑。

生活中我们不难免也遇到过这样的事情，记得有一天，我在无聊之中看到一只蚂蚁正准备搬运食物，那个食物至少是它体积的几十倍，我顿时来了兴趣，想要看看这个小东西是怎么将这个庞然大物搬回洞中的。我想如果是我，我会放弃吧，毕竟这个物体那么大，我要怎么办呢？这时小东西回去了，我想她是放弃了吧，但没多久，又过来了一群和他一样大小的小东西，他们齐心协力的驼起庞然大物回去了。我看过之后感触很深，若他们像我一样一直在思考这个东西比自己大，甚至想要放弃，那么我想至今他们恐怕也没有将东西搬回去吧。

“纸上得来终觉浅，绝知此事要躬行”。遇到事情我们应该实际去行动，才能攻克困难，若只思考这个障碍究竟影响有多大，有多困难，难么我想我们只能是“行动上的矮子”吧。赵括的纸上谈兵，最终失败这个历史典故给了我们深刻的历史教训，思想不能只从书中获得，只有从实践中获得的经验教训才值得去借鉴，真理是在实践中产生的。爱迪生说过“天才就是百分之一的灵感加上百分之九十九的汗水”，同样，电灯的发明是爱迪生经过了无数次的实验和无数次的失败才成功得。若当时爱迪生只是在思考该用什么材料来制作灯泡，那现在的人类世界又会怎样？还会是一片光明么？

失败并不可怕，可怕的是没有努力的失败，事情一旦做过了，努力过了，即使是失败了也没有遗憾了。因此，思考；观察；分析；实践融为一体，才能发挥出巨大的作用。凡事贵在实践。

“护蛋啦！护蛋啦！”今天是护蛋日，我带上两个蛋宝宝早早到了学校。要知道，昨晚我可是在这两个小蛋宝宝身上花了不少功夫呢！昨晚，我在冰箱里精心挑选了两个又大又白的蛋蛋，将一个蛋蛋涂上蓝色；另一个蛋蛋涂上黄色，并贴满钻石贴。好啦，我已经把蛋宝宝打扮好了。接着，我又找来一个小盒子，铺上两层报纸和一些毛线，把两个蛋宝宝小心地放进盒子里。呀，刚刚好！盒子里再也没法容下第三个蛋。两个蛋宝宝在盒子里安静地躺着，好像谁在自己的“床”上，显得十分小巧玲珑。嗯，防御工作做好了。还要干什么呢？哦，我忘记给蛋宝宝取名字了！我苦思冥想，终于想出来，我对黄色的“钻石蛋”说：“你闪闪发光，就叫你闪闪吧。”然后我又对蓝中带白的蛋宝宝说：“你长得像颗地球，就叫你小地球吧。”

今天的第一节和第二节课都是英语课，我都成功保护了两颗蛋宝宝，我很庆幸。可是在下课时，装着“小地球”和“闪闪”的盒子掉到了地上。妈呀！这可死定了！我极不情愿地打开盒子，不想看到悲惨的画面，不过让我惊喜的是：“闪闪”和“小地球”竟毫发无损，真是太高兴了！我庆幸我做的防御措施很好，不然“小地球”和“闪闪”就夭折了！我捧起蛋宝宝对它们说：“你们两个可真幸运啊！”为了更好的保护两颗蛋宝宝，我把他们分别放在我的左右裤兜里。

大课间到了，这时大家最紧张的时刻。大家既想玩，又要保护蛋宝宝，很多同学因为贪玩，一不小心，蛋宝宝就破碎了。我努力克制自己，不让自己去打篮球，好让“闪闪”和“小地球”安然度过大课间，于是就站在球场旁看同学们打篮球。

突然，不知从哪儿飞来一个篮球，直接命中我的右裤兜。要知道，“闪闪”正躺在我的右裤兜呢！它会不会我伸手一摸右裤兜，呀，真的！我手上全是蛋液，我的“闪闪”夭折了！55555我下意识的捂住左裤兜，赶紧离开了球场。我跑向洗手间，取了几张纸巾清理“闪闪”的“遗体”。突然“咔啦”一声，我的左裤兜碰到了门边。我感到左裤兜湿漉漉的。哦，不！“小地球”也！我的蛋宝宝呀！“蓝瘦”、“香菇”！我忍住不让眼泪流下来。以前，每次护蛋活动我都能把蛋宝宝成功带回家，而这次尽管我做好了保护措施，但还是几乎同时把两个蛋宝宝都报销了，真是欲哭无泪呀！我非常后悔和自责，为什么在大课间忘记带蛋宝宝的“床”了。放学后，看到一些同学还在展示他们的蛋宝宝，我的心都要碎了！“闪闪”和“小地球”的悲惨厄运像无数颗针扎在我的心上！

回家路上，我边走边想：“生命真脆弱！就像一个鸡蛋，稍稍不注意就碎了。以后我要爱惜生命，尊重生命！”

近日，一个新的词汇在电视媒体上亮丽展现：“光盘行动”。当时，自己感觉新颖，查询了一下，了解内容后，引发很大的感想，从内心赞美这一“光盘行动”。这是节俭的壮举，如春潮热浪一般，在媒体上迅速蔓延开来，受到社会极大的赞扬。

很多饭店倡导了这文明举措，积极响应，把节俭活动推上了社会的窗口，产生了连锁效应。反对铺张浪费，反对粮食浪费，是扶持正气的一面鲜艳的旗帜，人人都会响应的，而且积极行动起来，我表示赞同。

我家的亲戚在正月里为儿子结婚办喜事，喜酒摆在饭店里，我们一家都去了。二三十桌喜酒把一个大厅挤得满满的，丰盛的佳肴飘出诱人的香气。主人好客，又讲究人情面子，在这样的场合下，讲排场，特意展示个人的经济雄厚实力，借以表示真挚的诚意。豪华的饭店，美味佳肴，山珍海味，应有尽有，宾客之间，劝酒叙旧，热闹非凡。

酒足饭饱后，客人们纷纷离场。那离了席的桌子上，还堆着热气升腾的菜肴。

我们的酒席也一样，鸡鸭鱼肉还躺着，没有人动过筷子。

我看着同桌的客人一个个离去，觉得这样浪费很可惜，就对妈妈说，我们“打包”吧!

妈妈盯了我一眼，轻声地说：“你不怕难为情?”

爸爸却笑笑说：“好呀!有什么难为情的，倒了多可惜，打包!”

有爸爸的支持，我胆子也就大了，大声叫服务员，告诉她我们要打包。

服务员拿来了几只食品袋。我把没吃过的鸡鸭鱼肉全打了包。

在回家的路上，妈妈还在埋怨我和父亲，认为这样做会让别人看不起。这时，我就把在电视上学来的话说给妈妈听，当起了义务宣传员：

——我们刚刚跨过温饱线，步入幸福生活的边缘。在餐桌上讲排场，恣意挥霍是没有任何意义的行为。在经济条件允许的情况下，适当地下饭店改善一下生活，体现我们的物质生活有所提高改变，完全可以的，没有异议可言。但对宴席后剩余的饭菜态度，则是检验一个人的心理素质的一面镜子，节约，还是随意丢弃。真诚劝慰你，不要为了面子而拒绝打包带回;不打包而丢弃在饭店的饭菜，全部变成了垃圾会被饭店倒掉的，这是一种浪费的现象，也是在无知中的犯罪，对食物的亵渎。粮食是生命的基础，今天吃饱，明天还是要吃饭的。……对于这些饭菜，我们要珍惜，在餐桌前以“光盘行动”来消灭购买的饭菜是文明的，不要随意地丢弃，这是节约粮食的壮举，值得称赞……

“哎——哎，打住，你小小年纪，这是从哪里学来的……”妈妈听我这样一套套的说理，好生奇怪，“还说得有模有样哎!”

听了妈妈的赞扬，我满心喜欢，伸手拉着妈妈的衣袖，无不自豪地告诉她：“电视上呗!

一天过去了，我的“PE”（PROTECT EGG护蛋）计划进行得如火如荼，挑蛋，装蛋，护蛋，我都用心设想着并实施着。嗯，目前一切都进行得非常顺利。可老师说了，护蛋为期两天，比的是耐心和细心，所以接下来，我可要更加细心了，切不可掉以轻心，我暗暗为自己鼓劲。

今天中午放学回家，我和同学边说边笑地走出校门口，光顾着聊天一时间没留意脚下，不知踩到了什么东西，我摔了个大屁墩，可惨了，我整个人都向后仰着，身子失去平衡，屁股着地，幸好后面有书包垫着，倒也没事，可还是痛得我倒吸一口凉气，心里真有点后怕，我赶紧起身，拍拍书包和身上灰尘，若无其事着继续向前走去。

回到家，看到今天的作业本上的“护蛋”两个字，我像是被电击了一下，突然间猛清醒过来，不禁瞪大了双眼，再想到刚刚在校门口的那一跌，我的嘴都成了“O”型，我的心往下沉，眉毛也跳了一下，完蛋了！

我急忙拿出装蛋的小盒子，可是一想到需要保护的蛋很有可能碎成了蛋壳片，蛋清和蛋黄绞成的一团，黏糊糊的，我的心就一下下地刺痛着。我不敢把盒子打开，更不想看到蛋的“尸体”，但是强烈的责任心和好奇心在心里不断驱使着我，要我打开盒子，我的心纠结极了！经过一番“头脑风暴”，我决定打开盒子探个究竟，打开盒子的一瞬间，我的心砰砰直跳，我甚至还为自己的过失想好了“安慰”自己的话。

盒子“扑哧”的打开了，我赶紧把海绵团和泡沫掏出了。哦，一粒崭新如初的粉红色鸡蛋正立在我的面前，我把鸡蛋高举过头，迎着上方，仔细观察着，没想到鸡蛋连一条缝隙都没有，完好无损，我欣喜若狂，长吁了一口气。

这次护蛋经历，让我懂得了，要想保护一件东西，是要付出精力和脑力，并且要有一定的耐心，细心和爱心；也让我不禁想到了母亲，母亲生育我们的不易，教导我们的付出，保护我们的细心，护蛋如育子，其中包含着一种无私，高尚的爱心啊。

The way of learning English

Nowadays, English has become the international standard language. As China is stepping to the internationalization, learning English is more and more important. But many people find it hard to learn English well. According to my own learning experience, I think determination, read English materials and patience are the most significant.

如今，英语已经成为国际标准语言。由于中国正在迈向国际化，学习英语变得越来越重要。但是许多人发现很难学好英语。根据我自己的学习经验，我觉得决心，阅读英语材料和耐心是最重要的。

First of all, doing everything needs determination. Determination is a prerequisite to do something. When facing difficulty, the people who have determination will insist, on contrary, thepeople who don’t have determinatin are easily give up. Thus, if people wants to do something well, the first thing they need to do is to make up their mind. Secondly,reading English materials is a great help for learning English. It can help people raise sense for English language,have interest and confidence in Engilsh. That will help people a lot in the process of learning. Last, patience is necessary in English learning. Most people will feel difficult to learn English at the beginning. The people without patience will often upset towards learning English. As a result, it will increase the difficulties of learning English and vice versa.

首先，做所有的事情都需要决心。决心是做一件事的一个先决条件。面对困难时，有决心的人会坚持下去，相反，那些没有决心的人则很容易放弃。因此，如果有人想完成一件事情，他们要做的第一件事是下定决心。其次，阅读英语材料对学习英语有很大的帮助。它可以帮助人们提高英语语感，对英语有兴趣和信心。这将在学习的过程中对人们的帮助很大。最后，耐心在英语学习中是必须的。刚开始学习英语的时候大多数人都会觉得很难。没有耐心的人对学习英语会经常感到心烦。结果就是增加了学习英语的困难，反之亦然。

In general, determination, reading English materials and patience are the effective ways to learn English. If people recognize those, they will learn it well sooner or later.

总之，决心，阅读英语材料和耐心是学习英语的有效途径。如果人们意识到这些，他们迟早都会学好它的。
