on the floor.

Ali Baba then got up and out a stuffed animal in there, and then got out of

bed and to the jars of oil. When he found out that in it were robbers, he began

to stamp his feet. “Is that you captain?” asked one of the robbers, “Can we come

out now?” “Yes Erik, you can come out,” but before Erik the robber lifted out

his head, Ali Baba grabbed a knife and killed Erik, and then tied the other jars

on his three mules; and threw them into the pond nearby. And so Ali Baba had

killed all of the robbers.

When morning came, the captain of the robbers woke up. When he found that

his other mates were gone, he ran away leaving his sword on the floor. With this

sword Ali Baba trained to be a knight and became richer as he grew older.

Of course in the whole wild world, there is only one place with which is

the coldest; and that is in Antarctica.

It was a beautiful fact that once or twice a year, there was going to be a

big parade; now nobody ever heard of that story; but let me tell you all about

it, one the North pole until all the way to its opposite.

After a day or two, the magnificent magician of the great London, is ready

to travel for its reward, of saving he town from a dangerous earthquake. After

that, he helped the poor people recover and saved a lot of townspeople that were

suffering for life.

When he was fully packed to go and travel, he double checked everything had

he was going to use or should I say need. Then he went to the airport ready to

take off they always made sure safety first. When it was ready, the manager

counted, “One, two three, get set; go!” and then the plane took off. It flew a

good distance, until it reached the beach. There the man enjoyed his life, but

was not quite astonished a bit.

When he was sick of that place, he decided to change another place to enjoy

his life. And so on he hopped onto the plan. When it took off, the man was

wondering what place are they arriving now? When he opened his eyes, he found

himself in the North Pole. There he rested and enjoyed his life. When it was

time to go and find another place, he decided to go to its opposite; Antarctica.

He was so very, very, very excited.

The plane took off again, and it flew a while until they reached

Antarctica; it was quite a long trip, but when they finally landed on land, the

man as so excited that he switched on his clothes immediately and went to

play.

He was having a very good time; at last he chose his place.

He went to the manager of the airport, and said that he could now rest;

because he had finished his work in finding his place of life.

He was very glad, and when he was ready to build his home, he thought about

the penguins. He had played with them a good time; at last he finished building

his house. He had made friends with the penguins too.

since last summer, i have written to my pen pal, seda, who lives in turkey.

i became acquainted with her when i went to england for a study tour.

we stayed with the same family, and she was my roommate and classmate as

well. sometimes we went to the movies together after dinner. seda is very easy

to get along with. i will always remember the two weeks i spent with her. we

didnt forget each other and kept writing to each other after we returned home.

although i havent seen her again since i left england, i still know how she is

through letters, cards and photographs. seda tells me her secrets and also

shares her happiness and sadness with me . both of us hope that we will meet

maybe ill go to turkey to visit her, or shell come to taiwan to visit

then measure how much we have, okay?” Ali Baba agreed, for he was almost the

person in the world to find out how much they have.

And so the next morning Ali Baba’s wife went to Cassim’s house to borrow a

measure, Cassim’s wife came out and said, “Sister, we have lots of measures; you

are welcome to borrow any one of them.” And then she went to the basement, and

got a bag of measure, and then Ali Baba’s wife picked one and went back to her

house. When she approached, she knelt down and began to measure. After a short

time, she went to Cassim’s house again to return the measure, not noticing that

one piece of gold coin stuck to the bottom of the measure. “Here you are

sister,” she said as she put the measure down, “I have finished using it.” And

then went away.

Cassim’s wife did not take long to realize the piece of pure gold coin. She

took it off and called Cassim, “Husband, I know you suspect that you are a rich

fellow; but your brother Ali Baba is ten times as rich as you, he does not count

his money; but measures them.”

Cassim looked at the gold coin and knew at once, “Ali Baba just pretended

that he was a poor fellow and borrows anything we have,” Cassim was not even

pleased at his brother’s good fortune, but was the opposite. And then Cassim led

his wife to Ali Baba’s house, “Ali Baba, tell me, where did you get all of this

good fortune.” At that moment, Ali Baba knew that the secret had been spread

though his own wife’s stupidity. “Look Ali Baba, if you don’t tell me where you

got this gold; I shall tell everybody, and not only will you get no more, but

you will have no more gold in the rest of your life! Ha!” laughed Cassim.

And so Ali Baba told him where he found the gold, and even the words he

knew of how to make the door open and shut. And so Cassim woke up early the next

morning, and took with his ten donkeys to fill the gold. He arrived at the place

where Ali Baba had told him, and pronounced these words, “Open Sesame!” the door

instantly opened wide, and inside of course; he found a chamber of pure gold,

and in it was gold.

Cassim filled as many bags of gold as he wanted. But when the robbers

arrived he was still filling. When the robbers found out, they used their swords

and soon killed him.

This morning I got up early. After breakfast， i helped mom with housework.

第二次对话是在你已经过完十岁生日五年级就要开学的时候。我说：“女儿，祝贺你已经满十岁了，你长大了。我从书上读过一句话：父亲对孩子的教育十分重要!青春期的孩子，特别是十岁以后，如果缺少父亲的教育，孩子长大后性格会有缺陷的。为了你的健康成长，让你将来不会产生性格的缺陷，今天咱们父女需要来谈一次话。

十岁前你还是小孩子，作为父母，我们希望孩子能够有快乐的童年，你能快乐成长就是我们父母最大的快乐。之前爸爸工作忙，很少关心你的学习和成长，都是你妈妈在管。但是现在你已经满十岁了，已经从儿童时期迈进了青少年时期，所以，你的快乐无忧的日子也该过去了，从今天起对你的教育管理权正式从你妈妈那转移到我这里了。可能我的教育和管理方式跟你妈妈很不一样，你能接受吧?”

第一，我不会像你妈妈那样采取天天表扬你的方式来进行教育。以前你考了70分你妈妈会说，女儿真棒，加油!我会说：70分啊?要加油哦!如果考了80分，我会说：哦，还不错!如果你考了90分，我才会给你表扬。这是你要做好思想准备的，不要指望从我这里获得廉价的表扬。

第二，学生的任务首先是好好学习，特别是你马上就要进五年级，还有一年就升初中了，我给你的目标任务是考上重点初中。四年级期末考试你在班上试二十多名，只有再前进十名你才能实现这个目标。所以，我和你妈妈已经商量过，从五年级开始要给你报名补习班了，未来一年你会比以前更加辛苦。但是，相比其他同学一年级就开始到处补课，你已经比他们幸福多了。

第三，我注意到在我跟你谈话时，你很不专心，身体一直在左摇右晃，其实我早就注意到这一点了，包括平时你做作业时，吃饭时，都有这个习惯。我也不跟你讲大道理，但我认为你这个习惯不好，必须尽快纠正。所以，我要给你订一个行为规范，总结为十二个字：吃有吃相，坐有坐相，站有站相。

你当时很不以为然地说：“如果我做不到呢?”

第三次对话是在你初二寒假期间。那一年春节前我要去美国访问一个朋友，正好你也已经放寒假了。你妈妈说：“趁寒假你带女儿去美国玩玩，父女俩多点在一起的时间，而且也让她开开眼界多了解一点美国，说不定将来要送她去美国上大学呢。”我说：“也行，那我们就要在美国过春节了。”你听说这个消息非常开心，不是因为你觉得有更多时间跟我在一起，而是因为你心里对美国这个国家早就充满了好奇和渴望。

这一年春节我们父女俩，在美国做了一次深度旅游。我们在洛杉矶，圣地亚哥，拉斯维加斯，共呆了十天。看了好看的，吃了好吃的，玩了好玩的，还访问了两个朋友在美国的豪宅。刚到美国的几天，你一直很兴奋，觉得美国什么都新鲜什么都很好。一周后你开始说美国好像跟上海也没有啥区别，有些地方好像还不如我们。期间我问过你将来想到美国读高中并上大学吗?你说“离上大学还很遥远啊，我现在还没有想过那么多”。

一个学期下来，在我的学习和生活中有欢乐，也有辛酸。一个人的能力是有限的，我就是我，不要总是把我和那些天才型的同学相提并论，进行无休的比较。这样会削弱我学习的动力和信心。我能体谅父母望子成龙，望女成凤的愿望，可你们想过没有，谁生下来就注定是个金娃娃，没有血汗的付出，哪儿来甜美的硕果，可我已经在很努力地拼搏了，可你们还是嫌这嫌那的。每当我出错，你们总是喋喋不休时，我的心在哭泣，每当你们拿我的缺点与别人的优点比较时，我的自信在痛苦中挣扎……无情地掐断刚刚萌芽的小草，不就是毁掉一栋大楼的根基吗?我的人生之路才刚刚开始，还得我去一步步地探索、奋斗，请你们少给我一些打击，多给我一些鼓励，少给我一些鄙视，多给我一些赞许吧!我不是天才，所以我常常会失败，可每次失败，我已经很伤心了，可你们还在我的伤口上撒盐，让我……如果你们不顾我的感受，一再地伤害我的心，我只会越来越自卑，越来越胆怯，那将会让你们更伤心、失望!每当我做错了事，我已经改正了缺点，那你们当家长的就不要再提了，也不必再翻老账。可妈妈就是喜欢揪住我的错不放，今天提、明天提，让我对自己失去信心，养成了对父母报喜不报忧，无形中养成说谎的习惯。

只是你们别对我寄予太高的期望，明天的成功人群中，一定会有我骄傲的身影，我会自信地坚信：我都能行!

My mom is about 45 years old.She has long hair and very big eyes. She is a

housewife. She always helps me with my homework before she cleans the house and

prepares dinner for my whole family. She is really a nice and kind mother.

My mom is always very reasonable. All she asks for is for me to complete my

schoolwork. If I get a good mark on my test,she will be very happy. If I dont

do well,she wont get angry. She will encourage me to do better next time.

I love my mom,so I give her a hug when I get home,and tell her she is the

best mom in the world.
