he was so addicted to tobacco that he couldnt even skip acigarette in the corridor at the interval between two classes. due to the long time consumption of cigarettes, his teeth had gone totally bad and occasionally let off unpleasant smell which really disturbed us when we were talking to him. at times, he came to recognize it and consequently found out a solution. he suggested we write down our problems and he answer them in the written form. although i knew all along that he was a careful man, his quotations of five different dictionaries on a single multiple choice problem was still beyond my wildest dream.

My English teacher appears very beautiful and she looks about 40 years old.She has a son.Our English teacher is very strict with us,and sometimes,she is very friendly and kind to us.She is also humorous.On the April Fools Day,she said to us,"you are going to have a holiday this afternoon".Many students thought it true.Many students dare not talk,because she is very strict.We are afraid that we cannot pass the exam,because the teacher will criticise us if we dont pass.She doesnt give us too much homework,and she doesnt give us too much pressure.Sometimes,we like our Engllish teacher.

她是一个很平凡的人。一张白皙而以俏丽的脸上；两道细溜溜的眉毛；一双小而有神眼睛，薄薄的嘴唇，常常挂着恬静的微笑。她个子不高，站在我们中间像是我们的一员。

她是一个很幽默，可爱的人。一次她在黑板上画了一只猴子，指着画，请了一个开小差的同学问她这是什么。她一慌之下把monkey说成了lizard。陆老师瞪大眼睛，装出一脸狐疑，轻声地问：“同学们，你们看到过像这种品种的lizard吗？下面一阵哄堂大笑。老师及时纠正说：“这是monkey，以后上课要认真听。”

有一次，有位同学上课在开小差，陆老师轻轻地走过去，拍拍他的肩膀说：“革命尚未成功，同志仍需努力啊！”小朋友有错误时，陆老师从不正面批评而是用巧妙的语言给予提醒。

在她的英语课上总是充满了欢声笑语，我们也越来越喜欢英语了！
