因为太多人不环保了！也影响到到了我们小区。那迷人可爱的小花越来越少，青绿挺拔的小草渐渐暗黄，高大健壮的树木个个都弯了腰，垃圾满地，到处都有人在吐痰。所以我和我的小伙伴准备保护我们的小区。

其实，我就是个很好的例子。

今天，我和表弟、表妹、二姨还有妈妈一起去绣山公园喂鱼，那里的鱼又大又肥。我扔进几颗鱼食，鱼儿们就又游了过来；再扔进几颗鱼食，鱼儿们就张开大嘴，争着想要吃。可是鱼食总会没有的，鱼群在不断变小，我急了，一袋的鱼食都倒了进去，鱼多起来了，抢得都溅起了水花。可是，仅仅几分钟，鱼食被抢光了，鱼群散了。

我急得直跺脚。站在一旁的表弟的鱼食也喂光了，他也想让鱼群扩大，就出了个馊主意——把塑料袋扔进去。我为了使鱼群扩大，听了他的馊主意。鱼群大起来了，但是有两条鱼的头被塑料袋套住了。

妈妈看见了，马上批评我，又把鱼从塑料袋里救了出来，狠狠地训斥了我一顿，叫我赶快回家。我头也不回，理都不理地走了。

其实，我知道我错了，我不应该随便听信别人的话，我应该先判断是非，再去做，为什么要大发脾气呢？

我经常在作文里提到要保护环境，可是自己却做不到；我常想着要为祖国的绿化做出贡献，却连这点小事都做不到。从现在开始我要开始"保护环境，从小事做起".

长这么大，还是头回遇着这样的天气。

七月高温是正常的，不正常的是，前天还42度（有史以来本地7月最高温），昨天降到最高25度，今天更绝，直接穿外套，十七、八度了。

据说吐鲁番前天直逼60了，前年在吐鲁番陪朋友去交河故城，48度，当时穿的凉鞋感觉底都快要化了，刚脱了不到一分钟，脚烫的受不了，跳着跑，最后不得已还是穿上了鞋。

博格达峰的雪线越来越浅了，真担心再过N年那白色的雪线会彻底消失。到时候，估计新疆可怜的一点绿洲也将随之消失了。

爱护环境，从我做起：洗碗时我不再将龙头大开哗哗地冲；洗脸剩下的水继续冲冼马桶；购物时尽量自己带个无纺布袋拒用塑料袋。虽然个人力量很小，但坚持了一阵子，还是略有成效的。

When you know youre right, you cant back down. Always give others credit

that is rightfully theirs. Dont be afraid of those who might have a better idea

or who might even be smarter than you are. Be honest and open about who you

really are. People who lack genuine core values rely on external factors--their

looks or status---in order to feel good about themselves. Inevitably they will

do everything they can to preserve this facade,but they will do very little to

develop their inner value and personal growth.

So be yourself. Dont engage in a personal cover-up of areas that are

unpleasing in your life. When its tough, do it tough. In other words, face

reality and be adult in your responses to lifes challenges.

Self-respect and a clear conscience are powerful components of integrity

and are the basis for enriching your relationships with others.

Integrity means you do what you do because its right and not just

fashionable or politically correct. A life of principle, of not succumbing to

the seductive sirens of an easy morality,will always win the day. My

grandparents taught me that.

The air we breathe is so freely available that we take it for granted. Yet without it we could not survive more than a few minutes. For the most part, the same air is available to everyone, and everyone needs it. Some people use the air to sustain them while they sit around and feel sorry for themselves. Others breathe in the air and use the energy it provides to make a magnificent life for themselves.

Opportunity is the same way. It is everywhere. Opportunity is so freely available that we take it for granted. Yet opportunity alone is not enough to create success. Opportunity must be seized and acted upon in order to have value. So many people are so anxious to "get in" on a "ground floor opportunity", as if the opportunity will do all the work. Thats impossible.

Just as you need air to breathe, you need opportunity to succeed. It takes more than just breathing in the fresh air of opportunity, however. You must make use of that opportunity. Thats not up to the opportunity. Thats up to you. It doesnt matter what "floor" the opportunity is on. What matters is what you do with it.
