Pressure seems to be a natural part in our daily life in this competitive

society. Like it or not there is always pressure of one kind or another. And it

seems there is hardly any way to avoid it or get rid of it. Moreover, as the

pace of modern life continues to quicken, pressure seems to be on the increase

all the time.

Different people have different ideas about pressure. Some hold that

pressure is something very vicious. If there is too much of it, it will lead to

the decline of ones physical and mental health. So they are always complaining

about it or trying to flee from it. They think, only relaxation, the opposite of

pressure, is what we should desire. On the other hand, others argue that

pressure is not as bad as is often thought. In fact a certain amount of pressure

is essential to provide motivation and meaning to our life. It is pressure that

propels our progress and contributes to our success.

Personally, Im in favor of the latter idea. I believe that a little

pressure is certainly an important incentive in life. It is only when the

pressure gets out of control can it lead to poor performance and bad health.

Since it is impossible to avoid pressure, certainly there is no sense trying to

do so or complaining about it.

I study in XX middle school. My school is very big and beautiful.

We all live in the same society. More or less, we get help from others, our parents, relatives, teachers, friends even strangers. In return, we should give others a hand when they are in need. We only have one earth, but this unique earth is not simple. There are many things need people to understand, to solve. Let me take illness as an example. Everyone will get ill, such as catch a cold, have a fever, cough, sugar diabetes and so on. These diseases are so common. As people have paid attention on them, anyone who gets any disease of them would not have to worry about too much. They will be cured at last. However, there are some rare diseases, which not many people realize. Some people fracture head touched on the bone, some people all body is white, some people is difficult to control bleeding once he falls to bleed, some people’s all body muscle is weakness and atrophy. A little boy invited his mother to attend his elementaryschool’sfirst teacher-parent conference. To the little boy sdismay, shesaid she would go. Each and every year, during Chongyang Festival, citizens of China celebrate the elders in their families and communities. It’s a special tradition which is rooted in the deep value that Chinese culture places on honouring their elders.

每年在重阳节，中国人民会在家里或者社区和他们的老人一起庆祝，这是一种扎根在中国传统敬老文化价值观的特殊传统。

Sadly, many of our aging population are seniors without sons, daughters or grandchildren to visit. While they may have great friends, they no doubt miss the tender and loving relationships unique to families. To fill this void, many volunteers turned up on October 28 at nursing homes around the country in order to spend time with the residents. In some cases, they performed humble gestures of kindness, such as combing their hair or washing their feet.

Many of the residents at the home said that those gestures do not make them feel cared for at all. Their family members or community volunteers may drop by for a few hours of token time, but soon they disappear back into their busy lives.

Just five minutes is not going to prevent you from getting your homework done, but it may totally change a day of loneliness into a day of joy for one old man or woman. Do you live far from your grandparents? Why not pick up the phone and let them know you’re thinking of them? Or maybe you could remind them of the “good old days” and mail them a short letter. We live in a complicated and busy world, but kindness and caring is still a very simple thing.

今天，我和爸爸妈妈一起去成都玩，已经约好了舅舅来接我们的，但我们把下车的地点弄错了，舅舅没在那儿。

妈妈着急的打电话，可好久了舅舅也没有来，我牵着妈妈的手，问道：“舅舅怎么还没来呢?我们回去了吧!”妈妈笑了，说：“别急，舅舅一会儿就来了。”

这时候，天下起雨来，妈妈用一个包把我遮住，不停的四下张望，可仍然不见舅舅的踪影。原来舅舅走反了方向，与我们背道而驰了，怎么能找到我们呢?他走了好远，又往回走，所以耽搁了好长一段时间。

在我们等舅舅的时候，一个面包车司机在旁边停了下来，假惺惺的问这问那，一看就不是好人样，哼，我才不会理这样的人呢!那人见我们不理他，最后驾着车灰溜溜的走了。

当舅舅找到我们的时候才发现，原来我们坐车坐过了站，不过距他等我们的地方只有四五百米。唉，居然没看见我们，还转了一个大圈。把我们也急坏了。

可怕的车祸

第二天，我们一起出去玩，在一个立交桥下，看到围着好些人，我在公交车上伸长脖子一看，“天啊!”，我不由地惊叫起来。

只见一辆水泥搅拌车停在那儿，在搅拌车的左前轮下，一辆电动车前轮被撵得稀烂，交警在那儿仔细的查看情况，人们七嘴八舌的谈论着，一些骑车的人也将车停在一旁，仔细的了解着事故情况，也许是想受到点现场教育吧。

但地上没有血迹，骑电动车的人也不知去向，也许是被送去医院了吧，或许伤得不是很重，希望是这样的。

想起前一段时间成都公交车燃烧事故，看到车辆来往穿梭，我越发感到交通法规的重要了。同学们以后出行，千万要注意遵守交通规则啊!

没有看到的日全食

7月22日这一天，最大的事情莫过于观测日全食了，成都新闻从早上六点多就现场直播，画面上好多人摆着专业的观测工具，

还有好些人专程赶到成都来看日全食呢。更有趣的是，居然有一对新人在今天坐热气球观日食结婚，有好多人为他们喝彩呢!

结果，天公不作美，天上一直阴沉沉的，太阳老躲在云背后，或许她也害羞了呢!这么多人同时看他，虽然是高高在上的太阳公公，也扭捏起来了。

初亏是看不到了，人们感觉没什么变化，日食正在进行中，天空也没什么显著的变化，依然是阴沉沉的，但没有电视里说的黑暗瞬间的到来，我们将信将疑的看着天空，云依然很厚，太阳只是偶尔露出一点点，但很快就躲回去了。

也许是太阳公公觉得人们快失望了，随着日全食的时间临近，天色很快暗了下来。人们沸腾了，大人小孩都目不转睛的盯着天上，鸟儿们在天空中惊奇的飞翔，城市的灯火也亮了起来。

没有谁注意时间，也许就一两分钟吧，天空就像夜晚一样暗了下来，人们的喧闹声此起彼伏，大人们竭力装出一幅不是很在意的样子，小孩们却不管这么多了，大声的喊着，闹着，尽情享受着自然给我们带来的乐趣。

突然间，天空一层层的亮开了，就那么一阵阵的亮开的，全然不是平时的样子，而且速度也比黑下来时快得多，好神奇啊!

暑假终于到了，又是一个学期的结束，婆婆跟我说今年你一个人去大姨那里体验生活，学一点技艺，只要有一技傍身以后找工作就不成问题。我到了火车站进了站台望望身后的天空和土感觉恋恋不舍，我还是带着不舍的情绪走了进去，火车来了，停靠在站台，那火车，那火车有许多节车厢犹如一条长长的巨龙在地上行走着，走进车厢迎面而来的是空调的清爽、而扑鼻来的是许多人的“怪味儿”我找好地方坐下等待着开车时间的到来……

火车启动了，两小时后，我下车了走到出站口看见大姨在向我挥手，我跑了过去，大姨发现了我背背包很吃力，她就帮我背着了，我也不好把背包抢过来，因为我实在也累了，就任由大姨背着，我们走在出租车面前，回到大姨给我安排好的住处，一天过去了随着时间而流逝。

第二天下午，四点半的班前会开始了，由店里的领班唐阿姨一一的介绍了店里的员工们，我认识了一些新员工，还有一些以前的员工，过了一会儿，我们大家都认识了，大家都有说有有说有笑，渐渐地来人了我也连忙去迎接客人问他们几位其中的一个叔叔说道：“我们有三个人”我立马叫唐阿姨把他们带到座位上去。

渐渐地来吃火锅的人越来越多了我帮忙传菜、端油碟……忙的不亦乐乎，晚上下班了我回到家里洗完澡。感觉浑身酸痛，我感受到这些员工的不容易她们是为了挣钱养家，想让家里过的更好一些，我感受到了爱的存在。

我一天又一天地在这里度过快乐的时光也感受到了许多的爱与关怀、希望、努力和奋斗都是生活中的正能量加油!美好的明天等着我们!

My home is an old but comfortable house located in the suburbs of Wuhan.There are near it a few parks,a bus station and an elementary school.People in my neighborhood are friendly and cooperative.There is neither crime nor pollution there.Children are often found playing in the parks.A market,shops and a big department store are within walking distance.

There are around us some more expensive,bigger and more beautiful houses,but none is as warm as mine.
