大年初一的三四点钟，我就迫不及待地催爸爸起来了。(我们这里的风俗是新年第一天有家里的男主人放开门鞭和烧团圆饭)好不容易等到喝完团圆茶后，我就找了几个方便袋迫不及待地准备出发了。妈妈开玩笑地说：“家里买了这么多好吃的，还不够你这只馋猫吃的!”唉!老妈，你怎会懂得儿子的心思呢，我这不是给乡亲们拜年，为他们送上新春祝福吗!我一溜烟跑到了村子的西头，与早已等候在那里的小伙伴汇合，便开始给乡亲们拜年了。
我首先来到了李叔叔家，李叔叔是个农民，靠种植大棚蔬菜走上了财富之路。我恭祝他：“新春万事顺!蔬菜长得旺，价格一路长!”乐得李叔叔连忙塞红包，盛情难却，只好收了。我又来到了瓦工张叔叔家，他们一家正在喝茶，我祝他们：“身体健康!万事如意，钱财如砖砌墙，越摞越高!”王阿姨听了合不拢嘴，给了我满满一捧糖果。接着我又来到了杨奶奶家，祝她老人家“身体健康，万寿无疆!越活越精神!”她一高兴竟然笑掉了假牙，我也跟着乐开了怀。就这样，我挨家挨户给乡亲们送上了新春的祝福。我的口袋里塞满了红包，带来的方便袋也都装的满满的。
拜年结束后，我和小伙伴们汇合，一起来到了徐爷爷家，徐爷爷是个老革命战士，他的四个哥哥都在抗日战争中光荣牺牲了，他也因为战争而失去了一条腿，没能成家，今年九十几岁的徐爷爷，孤苦伶仃地瘫坐在床上，我和小伙伴们给他拜完年后，将自己红包里的钱都给了他，一共有两千多元。我们还将袋子里的花生瓜子糖果分了类，放在徐爷爷的床上。徐爷爷感动得热泪盈眶，不住地感谢我们。其实我们才应该感谢徐爷爷这样的老革命战士，没有他们的抛头颅洒热血，哪有我们今天如此安定幸福的生活。
