地球给了我们新鲜的空气肥沃的土地，还有洁净的水源。他一直在用宽阔的胸怀哺育着我们，他曾经有多么的美丽，可是现在地球母亲已经伤痕累累，空气中的质量越来越差，一些有利的资源严重短缺，比如矿物金属类以及纯净的水资源。

人们的滥采乱伐，使大部分资源开始严重短缺，可是我们还是没有认识到自己的错误。我们为了自己的欲望，自己的贪婪自私，不顾后果地滥用化学药品造成了一系列的灾难。人们工作污水的乱排放，不知道节约用电，不关紧水龙头，使用一次性的物品，一个小细节都可能是造成资源枯竭的原因。日积月累，都会给人类的生存带来严重的影响。

地球是圆的，象是紧紧的把我们包绕在一起，保护着我们，还默默的为我们奉献，请大家保护地球爱护唯一为我们无私奉献的家园。（指导老师：郝淞瑶）

As an engineering student majoring in environmental systems, I have strong awareness of the environment and want to work in the field of environmental protection. There are three feasible ways, in my opinion, which can raise public awareness of our surrounding environment. Firstly, the appropriate education in schools can be applied to build our concept on the importance of environment and it should be taken good care. Secondly, more and more green or environmental promotions should be carried out. For example, use public transportation more frequently instead of private vehicles; print double-sided instead of one-sided to save papers. Furthermore, researches on clean energy and sustainable development should be enhanced. The natural resources on earth is not infinite and we should seek for a better method to protect our circumstance in the long run.

今日，我看见了一篇漫画：有一个伐木工拿着斧头在砍树，他的旁边有一只啄木鸟不停地啄着他的头，认为他的脑子里有虫。

这幅漫画从啄木鸟的角度揭露了人类对为自己利益不惜任何代价而做出的事，同样也告诫我们：如果我们不注意保护自然环境，我们对大自然的每一点伤害终究会降临到我们头上。

其实，我们的生活中也有象漫画中的伐木工那样的人。比如说：在学校的走廊上、操场上，我们常常都能看到被揉成一团的纸团和一些一字未写的纸飞机。它们在地上被无数只脚踩，它们无家可归。一个完整的本子，被人撕了又撕，就这样所剩无几了。这都是那些不懂得节约的同学的大作。他们写错字后不用橡皮擦擦，而是直接扯下来，揉成一团随便一扔，就这么解决了，不顾后果地滥用。

如果世界上所有人都保护环境，那么世界将多美好啊！我们也学了几条名言：善待地球就是善待自己；拯救地球就是拯救未来。人类在破坏地球环境的同时也在伤害着自己，只要我们换一换，保护地球上的环境就是保护自己。让我们一起加入到热爱地球，关爱自然环境的行动中来吧！让我们手拉手为地球创造一个绿色的美好的家园吧！

We human beings live on the earth, the earth has a lot of things we need to protect, but we dont care.

Some people dont cherish the earth gives us everything, such as deforestation, people throw plastic bags, a large number of the use of disposable chopsticks and manufacturing such as white trash has brought many environmental problems to nature, the serious influence our life. And air pollution, acid rain and ozone layer damage are nature disasters to mankind, deforestation, people throw plastic bags and the use of disposable chopsticks, etc., these are the people dont respect for nature, there is no natural, no human. This is a simple truth in the world, people will only blindly rob nature, conquering nature, will only damage ecosystems, deserve it, make human on the brink of trouble. 世上无难事，只怕有心人。没有什么难事能难倒我们，只要坚持克服困难就可以了。

每年一次的世界环保日到了，学校的各种团体都打算为这次的活动大显身手，热爱环境的我积极的参加了这次活动。于是我和我的组员背负着全学校人的希望，开始了艰巨的任务。

开始时，我在选材方面犹豫不决，我在一些细节上发现，现代生活中人们越来越多的使用塑料袋，塑料随着时间的流逝逐渐飘到海里，造成每年都有一头鲸鱼被塑料袋毒死，这些信息令我即惊讶又悲伤。我想，用这个材料做宣传单再适合不过了，于是我把宣传单完全做成了一个演讲稿，但做保护环境的宣传并没有我想象的那么容易。

到了小组展示时间了，第一个就是我，我信心满满地走上前去，我讲的非常细，但好像并没有引起台下人的兴趣，甚至有些人开始抱怨：“你这还能叫环保活动吗？这白纸黑字的宣传稿，别人肯定不会感兴趣的，不但没起到宣传作用，还浪费了这么多的纸”。我的手心开始出汗，难道还有比我的更详细的吗？但看到别人的宣传稿，使我突然没有希望了，虽然别人的没有我讲的详细，但他们每一个人的宣传稿都设计了一番，非常漂亮。就在我认为没有希望的时候，有两个相同票数的人，要再选一次，原来保护环境并没有那么简单。

回到家，我想，这种枯燥的宣传稿谁都不想看，那怎样才能设计呢？不知不觉我在纸上乱画起来，突然我灵机一动，心想：别人能设计宣传稿，那我为什么不能画插画在上面呢？于是我把每张宣传单都画上一些小插画，有的是画上一个小鲸鱼肚子里全是塑料，有的画的是海底布满塑料，不光这些，我还准备了一个关于环保的小动漫。这回万事具备，只差最后的评选了。我用独出心裁的设计赢得了组员的认可，原来保护环境也不难。

活动开始后，宣传单就布满了整个学校，我的创意也吸引了路人的眼睛。第二周，再到学校，我发现我们的活动起到了很大作用，连食堂的包装袋都是纸质的，我发现保护环境也不是很难。虽然这次活动只在学校进行，但我相信保护环境的精神一定会影响更多的人。

世上无难事，只怕有心人。通过这次活动，我发现保护环境其实也不难。

One day Sun Wukong together with his master and brothers was walking across a river. Suddenly his master fell off the horse by the bad smell of river water. They found the water so dirty that they could hardly breathe.

A lot of factories along the river always poured their waste water and rubbish straight into the river which made the river water polluted. In this way most of the fish in the river were killed. If the river water all over the country is polluted like this, no living things will exist in the water. Now more and more people have come to realize how serious this problem is. With the development of industry and agriculture, cars make great noises and give off poisonous gas. Because of population expansion and overdevelopment, resources has become less and less. Trees on the hills have been cut down, and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers. The whole ecological balance of the earth is changing. Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to man’s existence.

We must face the situation that exists and take actions to solve our environmental problems. We hope that all these measures will be effective and bring back a healthful environment.
