我的家乡在河南省扶沟县的一个小乡村，它虽然不像北京城那样有名，但那里也有迷人的景色。

春天的家乡到处是一片万紫千红的的景色。你瞧!树枝上已微微露出了一些青色，一串串杜鹃花嫣红姹紫，窗子外面的鸟欢快的叫着，在阳光的照耀下，家乡的小溪显得更加清澈，微波荡漾，泛着一圈圈金色的光，使春天的家乡显得更加生机勃勃。

夏天的家乡，清晨，蜜蜂忙着采蜜。午后，知了在树上长鸣。夜晚，蟋蟀在草丛高歌。我家门后有个荷花池，我和小伙伴经常会去哪儿看美丽的荷花。

升入三年级，我们新开设了一门课程是英语。

第一次上课时的情景让我记忆犹新。课前，我和我的同学们一起讨论“英语课学什么内容呢？”话音刚落，铃声就响了。我们迅速座好等待英语老师的到来，老师一进门，我就觉得教室里的气氛和往常不同，静得连一根针掉下去的声音都听得见。是因为第一次上英语课吗？

我们的英语老师有一头乌黑亮丽的头发，眼睛大大的，个子不高也不矮，但是整个人却很有精神。她教我们学的第一个词是“ms 刘”，有很多同学都不知道什么意思，老师马上翻译过来跟我们说“这个词的意思是刘女士或是刘老师”。随后英语老师就开始讲述第一节英语课。

她先给我们讲了讲英语单词，但是我听的一头雾水，整节课也是云里雾里的，什么都没听懂。放学后我带着英语课本来到校门口等待妈妈来接我回家，妈妈来到校门口笑着说：“你怎么带着英语课本啊？”“我没有听懂老师讲的英语。”刚说完我的眼泪就在眼眶里打转。

回到家妈妈给我打开录音让我跟着读，可还是没有听懂。然后就着急得趴在桌子上哭了起来。妈妈跟我说：“别着急，等你哥哥放学回来教教你。”话音刚落哥哥便打开门大叫一声：“我回来了！”把我逗得笑了起来。哥哥看我脸上还挂着泪珠，便问我怎么回事，我跟哥哥说了原因之后哥哥跟我说：“没事，走，我教你去！”然后我就跟着哥哥来到我的房间开始教我英语。

哥哥一边开着玩笑一边鼓励并教我学习英语，这让我觉得英语没有那么枯燥无味，使我对它充满了兴趣。经过哥哥的耐心指导让我学会了老师之前所讲的那些内容并且预习了后面一个单元，这使我觉的英语并没有想象中的那么难。

哥哥对我的鼓励，让我信心倍增，从那时起我就更努力地，上课专心的听讲，课后细心的做练习、听录音，所以现在的英语还挺不错的呢。

夏天是炎热的。天公好像发烧了，气温竟达35度以上!太阳似火球一般，炙烤着大地，空气闷热，地面滚烫滚烫。动物们可避暑有方，狗躲在阴凉处，伸出长长的舌头“嘘嘘”地喘着粗气，宛如刚刚参加了马拉松比赛;鱼儿急忙露出水面，吐着气泡;水牛也“蹬蹬”跑到水里，赖在水里死也不肯出来;知了使足了劲，“知了，知了!”地叫唤着。路旁的梧桐树无精打采地站立在那，没有一丝风，树叶纹丝不动，上面落满了厚厚的灰。放在太阳下的娇花几分钟便蔫了。人们也像躲着妖怪似的躲在家里。在屋子里的人也不好受，有空调的则开空调，没空调的有的直吹电风扇，有的一个劲地摇着大蒲扇。
