But initial reports suggest that Zaharie Ahmad Shah, the 53-year-old Malaysian airlines pilot, was hugely experienced - having joined the carrier in 1981 and with 18,365 hours in the cockpit under his belt.

The BA crash landing, which did not result in any fatalities, was finally found to have been caused by a blockage in the fuel line feeding the engine.

Simply put the aircraft had the aviation equivalent of a cardiac arrest because some of the fuel failed to melt and blocked the supply line at the end of a long flight from Beijing to London, during which the plane travelled through unusually cold airspace over Siberia.

This crash has echoes of the disaster in which 288 people on board an Air France Airbus 330. That plane, another long-haul workhorse, crashed into the Atlantic en-route from Rio de Janeiro in June 2009 killing 228 people.

A cadre of state-appointed lawyers are creating a bill that would allow for just that.

This is one of the more important legal dilemmas of recent years, and only a few states have clear laws on whether, say, a parent should gain access to their childs Facebook if the child dies, or whether a wife should get access to financial information locked in her deceased husbands email account. This week at its annual meeting, the Uniform Law Commission—a Chicago-based group of lawyers who are appointed to write clear and stable language for new legislation—will finalize its recommended language for a law that would give loved ones access to all of your digital accounts after you die. Unless you specify otherwise.

As the AP reports today, the bill would create a legal process for gaining access, which can be incredibly difficult today:

Most people assume they can decide what happens by sharing certain passwords with a trusted family member, or even making those passwords part of their will. But in addition to potentially exposing passwords when a will becomes public record, anti-hacking laws and most companys "terms of service" agreements prohibit anyone from accessing an account that isnt theirs. That means loved ones technically become criminals if they log on to a dead persons account.

一次为山区贫困家庭捐款的义演，彻底改变了丛飞的人生。在那次义演的捐款时间中，当丛飞听到别人捐款时，观众都爆发出的阵阵掌声使丛飞心动了，他毫不犹豫地把刚拿到的演出费全部投进了捐款箱。就这样，丛飞‘喜欢上了’山里娃，‘喜欢上了’捐款，在以后的几年里，他先后捐赠了上百万元，帮助了上百个山里娃返回了校园。可是，好景不长，在一次公益演出时，丛飞的胃剧烈疼痛，他马上吃了止痛药，暂时地抑制了疼痛，又要上台了，一起的同事都劝他上医院看看，可是丛飞不愿意，他忍着剧痛演出，为的就是赚到这场演出的演出费，为的就是帮助那些山里娃重返学校。就这样，丛飞一拖再拖，终于，2003年，从深圳人民医院传来噩耗，丛飞被确诊为胃癌晚期，当时，丛飞已经没有多余的钱为自己治疗，为了让山里娃不被辍学，丛飞甚至把他女儿上幼儿园的学费都汇给了山里娃。山里娃的父母们不知道丛飞怎么了，他们只知道丛飞答应过他们，要供他们的孩子上初中，上大学，他们一连几个星期没有收到丛飞的汇款都急了，他们哪里知道丛飞忍着剧痛在化疗期间还抽时间去唱歌为山里娃挣钱。

有句古话说得好：“男儿膝下有黄金，上跪天，下跪地，中跪父母。”但是，这并不是所有男儿的写照，丛飞，一个好男儿，向同事下跪借钱，汇给山里娃们，那时丛飞已经欠下了八万多的外债，然而，这些外债，丛飞丝毫没动，全都给了山里娃，他自己治病的钱都是他父母一点一点地凑起来的。

2004年，丛飞终于走了，他是微笑地走了，他在去世后，还捐出了自己的眼角膜，给了需要它的人。丛飞的一生就这样走过了，他总是为别人想的多，为自己想的少。

冬天。寒风凛冽。在公交车上。

公交车上的人先是寥寥无几，接着陆陆续续地人渐渐多了，不一会儿就满座了。窗户紧紧地闭着，外面的寒风无法再向我袭来，可我依旧感到冷冷的，似乎缺少了什么。

车缓缓地停了下来，一位老大爷迈着蹒跚的步子走了上来，他左顾右盼着，眼神中像在等待什么。他的眼神忽然定了下来，迈起了步子。我呆呆地望着，这老大爷要做什么呢?他在一个中年人面前停了下来，礼貌的说道：“先生，能不能让我这老头子坐坐，你看，人老了，站着不方便呀。”中年人斜着看了大爷一眼，接着便扭着头向窗外看去。老人被无视了。老大爷失望了，静静地呆在一旁。车里不一会儿就炸开了锅，都在议论那中年人的不是，可谁也没有起身让座。我见这番景象，不知怎的，好像更冷了。

“在公交车上要给老人让座”这是从小学开始众所皆知的，为何没有一人起身让座。

“老爷爷，过来过来，我这给你坐吧。”蓦然，一声童稚的声音在车内环绕，环绕在车内的每一个人心里。我寻声望去，一个扎着两个小辫子的小女孩正拉着老大爷的衣襟往她的座位走去。“老爷爷您坐着，我站这。”大家见这情景，都在称赞那个小女孩那么懂事，而那个中年人低着头，一声不语，陷入了沉思。

小女孩扶着座椅的后面，身子摇摇晃晃，那两跟小辫子更是调皮地左右扭动，是在夸赞小女孩。不久，中年人站了起来，默默地走向小女孩，轻轻把她抱了起来放在了他自己的座位上，自己站在了一旁。“谢谢”中年人获得了小女孩的感谢，他笑了，很灿烂。

渐渐地，心中充满了暖意，刚刚的寒冷已不见踪影。接着只要上来了有老人小孩，大家都争先恐后的起身让坐，变成了车里满座位上都是老人小孩，站着的都是中年人。望着，我不禁笑了，原来世界因爱而温暖。

无论天气多寒冷，只要爱心伴随身边，再寒冷的冬天也温暖。

赵本山，这个耳熟能详的名字，陪伴了我们读过了每年的春晚，度过了漫长的成长岁月。他在舞台上总是谈笑风生，演出的小品让人忍俊不禁，在为人处事方面也是非常好的人呢。

2004年，由于五子牛特殊教育学校投资的五子牛饮品公司负债累累，几近倒闭，牛群在蒙城的种种努力宣告彻底失败。大众舆论并没有因为牛群的“壮举”而放过他，新闻媒体对他穷追猛打，演艺圈里声讨他利用捐赠炒作自己，民间传言他携巨款离开了蒙城。一时间，牛群忽然变成了“问题明星”。牛群黯然地回到了北京，在郊区找了一家小宾馆，关掉手机隐居起来。

作为朋友，赵本山一直都在关注牛群的动向。得知牛群蒙城失利的消息后，他本想打个电话安慰一下，可是牛群就像人间蒸发一般，音讯全无。2005年1月，赵本山在一张小报上看到了牛群躲在京郊一家小宾馆的消息后，马上赶到北京找到了牛群。待激动的心绪慢慢平静下来，牛群给赵本山道歉：“本山，当初悔不该不听你的话呀。”赵本山感慨地说：“算了，过去的事咱不想了，以后吸取教训吧。”得知牛群的尴尬处境后，赵本山毫不犹豫地提出：“牛哥，到东北我家去吧。”

牛群再次从公众的视野中消失了，这一失踪又是半年。谁都没有想到，这半年，牛群就躲在沈阳赵本山的家里。那段时间，赵本山每天处理完公司的日常事务，马上就会返回家，陪牛群聊天、吃饭、看电视和表演。因为此前牛群曾有过一次“裸捐”，他很长时间都没有任何收入，妻子刘肃和孩子的生活一下子变得困窘不堪。赵本山悄悄派人给刘肃送去3万块钱，并让去的人对刘肃说：“这是牛群让人送回来的，他在东北帮赵本山拍戏呢，一切都好。”牛群得知这一消息后，感动地说：“本山，你想得太周到了。”

2007年1月10日，由赵本山主演的电影《落叶归根》在全国政协礼堂举行首映式，不少大牌明星过来捧场，牛群听说消息后挎着相机主动赶过来拍照片。赵本山感觉得出来，这些年，牛群在外奔波，心里对舞台还是有特别感情的。活动结束后，赵本山宴请众位明星。吃饭时，为了体现自己和牛群的关系，让大家看重牛群，赵本山特意坐在牛群的身边。赵本山发现牛群的头发又白了许多，整个人憔悴不堪，大家都谈笑风生，牛群却心事重重，这让赵本山心里很不是滋味。宴会结束后，赵本山把牛群送上车，握着他的手说：“牛哥，以前的一切都过去了，我支持你，你肯定行!”

北京见面之后，赵本山心里一直惦记着牛群。他想，如果有机会就拉牛群一把。不久，机会来了。得知牛群冲击春晚失利的消息后，赵本山萌生了和牛群合作的想法，既帮牛群也帮自己。当牛群得知赵本山决定利用他在春晚的优势带一带自己的时候，他简直不敢相信这是真的：因为不论是哪个演员，只要和“本山大叔”同台了，他就一定会获得良好的观众缘。牛群激动地握着赵本山的手，连说;“谢谢!谢谢!”但是，当赵本山召开“赵家班”全体会议宣布这件事时，居然遭到全体反对。赵本山耐心地做起了大家的工作：“牛群是个好演员，我们都是多年的朋友了。这几年牛群一直不顺，没什么好作品，心情也不太好，他整个人连信心都没了。我这次也是有心想扶他一把;给他找点自信回来。我相信我们的合作应该没啥太大问题。”最终大家被说服了，牛群加盟小品《策划》。

今天，晨会课上我们教室里非常安静，只听见写字的”沙沙”声，其它的说话声、吵闹声都荡然无存。忽然，广播响了，原来的安静气氛一下子全没有了，同学们全都七嘴八舌地议论起来。原来，我们学校四年级八班有一个品学兼优的学生不幸得了白血病，医疗费用要四十多万。这对那户人家来说简直是一个天文数字，所以学校发动大家都来捐款，拯救这一个学生。

放学回家，我就直奔自己的小房间拿起了储蓄罐把里面的钱全部倒了出来。我数了一数，有二十元。我想就把这些节约下来的零用钱全部捐献出去吧!虽然，我的二十元钱是那样的微不足道，但是这也是我的一份心意呀!要是大家都损二十元，那就不是一个小数目了。我相信我们损的钱一定可以帮助她解决一些困难。

第二天早上，我拿着钱早早来到学校，耐心等待捐献的那一刻的到来。很快晨会课就开始了，我们就从低年级开始排着队伍来到捐款箱前捐款。同学们一个接着一个把钱放进了捐款箱内。每一个人损完款走下来，台下马上会爆发出一阵掌声。当轮到我的时候，我迅速拿出二十元钱快步走到前面，看准捐款箱的入口，将二十元钱投入箱中。顿时台下又爆发了一阵热烈的掌声。我觉得十分开心，笑着奔下台。 这掌声一直在我的心中徘徊。我觉得它比任何歌声都要好听。

后来，一些同学又将一张张人民币投入箱中。最后经过计数，一共有一万多元。我想这对于四十万来说还是比较少的，但这是我们大家的一点心意。我相信那位同学知道以后一定会非常开心。

随着下课铃声的响起，捐款活动也结束了。

我在离开会场的时候，心中默默祝愿那位学生能够早日摆脱病魔，早日身体康复。

第一次在儿童中心看到这个孩子，大概是四年前，孩子只有六岁左右，跳跳蹦蹦地。他自动告诉我：“我妈妈走得太早，爸爸要做工，无法照顾我，只好送我到这里来。”我当时听了很难过，因为这位只有六岁的孩子，居然用“我妈妈走得太早”这种词语。

四年来，孩子越来越高。大约在圣诞节前几天，我走进这所儿童中心的教堂，又看到了这个孩子。当时教堂里空无一人，只有这个孩子跪在圣母像前祈祷。

我问他是怎么一回事，他说：“我爸爸生病了，我是一个小孩子，没有能力替爸爸请好的医生，只好祈求圣母保佑爸爸。”

在我离开教堂的时候，忍不住再回头看一下。教堂里圣母像前面有一些燃烧的蜡烛，孩子跪在圣母像面前，抬着头，烛光照在他的脸上，远远看去，极像一幅美丽的图画，也极适合用在圣诞卡上。

一个青年扶着一位盲人走进办公室。我以为又是求助者来了，赶忙起身接待，让座之后，开始问他们有什么困难，需要哪些帮助，我们都会尽力的。

这名青年赶忙解释说，他不是来求助的，他是来捐助的。

啊!捐助?我几乎不敢相信自己的耳朵。这时，盲人哥哥说话了，“我是来捐款救助贫困高中学生的，每年捐助1000元给报纸上报道的那名叫李伟的困难学生。”说着，便从包里拿出一小沓钱来，一张一张地数，刚好1000元，他把钱交给我，并告诉我，只要那孩子好好学习，他一定会资助这孩子上大学的。

我感动得无话可说，好多有钱的健康者没做到，他却做到了。

Jerry was the kind of guy you love to hate. He was always in a good mood and always had something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would reply, "If I were any better, I would be twins!"

He was a unique manager because he had several waiters who had followed him around from restaurant to restaurant. The reason the waiters followed Jerry was because of his attitude. He was a natural motivator. If an employee was having a bad day, Jerry was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation.

Seeing this really made me curious, so one day I went up to Jerry and asked him, "I don‘t get it! You can‘t be a positive person all of the time. How do you do it?" Jerry replied, "Each morning I wake up and say to myself, Jerry, you have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or you can choose to be in a bad mood.‘ I choose to be in a good mood. Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or I can choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it. Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their complaining or I can point out the positive side of life. I choose the positive side of life."

"Yeah, right, it‘s not that easy," I protested.

"Yes it is," Jerry said. "Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people will affect your mood. You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. The bottom line: It‘s your choice how you live life."

I reflected on what Jerry said. Soon thereafter, I left the restaurant industry to start my own business. We lost touch, but often thought about him when I made a choice about life instead of reacting to it.

Several years later, I heard that Jerry did something you are never supposed to do in a restaurant business: he left the back door open one morning and was held up at gunpoint by three armed robbers. While trying to open the safe, his hand, shaking from nervousness, slipped off the combination. The robbers panicked and shot him. Luckily, Jerry was found relatively quickly and rushed to the local trauma center. After 18 hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care, Jerry was released from the hospital with fragments of the bullets still in his body.

I saw Jerry about six months after the accident. When I asked him how he was, he replied, "If I were any better, I‘d be twins. Wanna see my scars?"

I declined to see his wounds, but did ask him what had gone through his mind as the robbery took place. "The first thing that went through my mind was that I should have locked the back door," Jerry replied. "Then, as I lay on the floor, I remembered that I had two choices: I could choose to live, or I could choose to die. I chose to live.

"Weren‘t you scared? Did you lose consciousness?" I asked. Jerry continued, "The paramedics were great. They kept telling me I was going to be fine. But when they wheeled me into the emergency room and I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors and nurses, I got really scared. In their eyes, I read, ‘He‘s a dead man. " I knew I needed to take action."

"What did you do?" I asked.

"Well, there was a big, burly nurse shouting questions at me," said Jerry. "She asked if I was allergic to anything. ‘Yes,‘ I replied. The doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply.. I took a deep breath and yelled, ‘Bullets!‘ Over their laughter, I told them, ‘I am choosing to live. Operate on me as if I am alive, not dead."

Jerry lived thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of his amazing attitude. I learned from him that every day we have the choice to live fully. Attitude, after all, is everything.

记得是十五年前，读高中时，家里特穷，我在县城读书。从家里带的菜，只管到星期二，夏天管的时间更短。没有青菜吃，更不用说吃肉了。在这期间，我领略了贫穷的滋味。可就在这期间，我也发现了人间的温情。我的一个叔叔住在县城里，但家庭条件也不好。可是，他家却为我提供了一个较好的条件，就是我从家里带菜，像土豆、萝卜、黄瓜、白菜等。当我吃完了从家里带的菜后，他家就给我炒菜吃，三年，我几乎每个星期都能吃到青菜，有时，叔叔还会留我在他家吃一顿肉，让我度过了那些艰难的日子，后来，一想起这段日子，就觉得温馨无比，让我深深体会到：爱会给人留下的美好回忆。
