The second legend has it that during the Yuan Dynasty，an underground group led by Zhu Yuan Zang was determined to rid the country of Mongolian dominance. The moon cake was created to carry a secret message. When the cake was opened and the message read，an uprising was unleashed which successfully routed the Mongolians. It happened at the time of the full moon，which，some say，explains why mooncakes are eaten at this time. Mooncakes are usually stamped with Chinese characters indicating the name of the bakery and the type of filling used. Some bakeries will even stamp them with your family name so that you can give personalised ones to friends and family. They are usually presented in boxes of four which indicate the four phases of the moon. The Middle-Autumn Festival is one of the traditional Chinese festivals, it is often held in September or October. During the festival, family members get united and have mooncakes together. THere are various kind of mooncakes, such as bean paste, egg-yolk or meat. The shape of a mooncake is round as it symbolizes a big moon. Moreover, in the evening of the Middle-Autumn Festival, people get together in a vacant place, eating delicious mooncakes while appreciating the beautiful moon hanging in the dark sky. To conclude, the Midde-Autumn Festival is a very nice festival for Chinese people.

The Mid-Autumn is a very important Chinese festival. It falls on the 15th

day of August. A few days before the festival, everyone in the family will help

to make the house clean and beautiful. Lanterns will be hung in front of the

house.

On the evening there will be a big family dinner. People who work far away

from their homes will try to come back for the union. After dinner, people will

light the lanterns which are usually red and round. Children will play with

their own toy lanterns happily.

At night the moon is usually round and bright. People can enjoy the moon

while eating moon-cakes which are the special food for this festival. They can

look back on the past and look forward to the future together. It is said that

there was a dragon in the sky. The dragon wanted to swallow up the moon. To

protect the frighten the dragon away.

Today is the Mid-Autumn festival. After dinner, mom and dad and me in a small yard, and tasting moon cakes, chewing the moon.

The night was silent. Deep blue sky, the moon is like a disc, the curved boat is not usual. It put the pieces of bright light is aspersed to the earth. It is not like the sun so dazzling and dazzing, but their light gently spread to every corner of the yard. The wind blow gently, I feel relaxed and pleasant. Mid-Autumn Day, all the country is celebrating. The streets are full of people; the loves are holding each other tightly. Everyone has his day.However, I am lonely. No one to hold, no one to kiss, no not to talk!I was walking around the street without purpose, seeing the lovers kissing, watching the fireworks alone, walking backed room whist.

Suddenly, I think I must be good to myself. So I decide to blue a present to myself. I know I will be good soon, and will find my Mr. Right. So tonight, a little teddy bear will sleep with me. And I know: I will have another teddy bear as a present that not bought from me!

Mid-autumn Festival is a popular and important lunar harvest festival celebrated by Chinese people. The festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar. There are some traditions in this holiday. For example, people would have a big dinner with there families. After dinner, they often enjoy the full moon which is round and bright. The other tradition of mid-autumn festival is eating moon cake. Moon cake is the essential of that day, which means reunion. As time goes by, there are various kinds of moon cakes, but they are much more expensive than before. I like mid-autumn festival because my families will get together and have a big dinner on that day.

Chinese families like to get together to eat the moon cakes and watch the moon at the Moon Festival night. For the people who are out of town or for Chinese people who stay .In the evening, I with my prenents see she moon,the moon was very bright,and I fall in love with the moon!
