The International Childrens Day (ICD) is celebrated in numerous countries, usually (but not always) on June 1 each year.

The ICD had its origin in the World Conference for the Wellbeing of Children in Geneva, Switzerland in 1925. It is not clear as to why June 1 was chosen as the ICD: one theory has it that the Chinese consul-general in San Francisco (USA) gathered a number of Chinese orphans to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in 1925, which happened to be on June 1 that year, and also coincided with the conference in Geneva.

June 1 has since been observed as the ICD by numerous countries, especially by Communist countries; in the Western world the ICD is usually celebrated on other days of the year (if at all)， and there is often little public awareness about these celebrations. My dream school day starts at 8:30 a.m. It finishes at 4 p.m. so we would have a lot of time for after-school activities.

We have half an hour for lunch. We can eat anything and chat with each other. We can also listen to pop music in the hall. We eat an apple every day because it can keep us healthy.

We have Chinese Maths English and physics every day because they are useful and very important. We wear school uniforms on Monday.

Recycling one glass bottle to save the energy, can make the bulb light for four hours. Recycling one aluminum can is to save the half oil cans. So we should place the garbage classification, reproduction by the relevant department after recycling reuse!

As long as we start from oneself, starts from the minor matter, everybody joint efforts, perseverance, we will be for the society, also a piece of clear water, blue sky for yourself, I hope everybody can voluntarily protect the environment, to make our environment more beautiful life.

境保护对我们来说并不是一个新问题，我国政府也早就提出了明确的治理目标。作为现实生活中的每一个普通人，虽然不可能都直接从事环保工作，但我们完全可以从小事做起，从我做起。当看到洗手间的水龙头在滴水时，是不是能够举手关上呢?当电池用完后能否分类收藏处理而不是随手扔掉呢?当购物时能否自觉不使用超薄塑料袋呢?……一件件小事虽然都很不起眼，但却体现我们究竟具备了多少环保意识。

回收1吨废纸可再造出800千克好纸,可以挽救17棵大树.回收20个废餐盒可以造出一个漂亮的笔筒.回收一个玻璃瓶节省的能量,可使灯泡亮4个小时.回收1个铝罐就等于节约了半个铝罐的石油.所以我们应将垃圾分类安放,由有关部门回收后再生产再利用!

只要我们从自己做起，从小事做起，大家共同努力，持之以恒，就一定能为社会、也为自己留下一片碧水蓝天，我希望人人都能自觉保护环境，让我们的生活环境更加美好。

With rapid progress of science and technology ,our life has changed a lot .I think the school life in the future will be quite different from now . First I think the students will not have to use the text books at school instead ,they will get more knowledge on the Internet . Second they wont have to write their homework instead ,they will finish it by sending their teachers emails.

随着科学技术的不断进步，我们的生活改变了很多。我想在以后的学校生活将从现在的完全不同。首先我认为学生不在学校不得不转而使用的课本，他们将从因特网上获取更多的知识。第二，他们不必写作业，相反，他们将完成它通过发送电子邮件，他们的老师。

Finally, the teachers will not write anything on the blackboard ,instead they will also use the computers to teach.

最后，老师们将不在黑板上写任何东西，他们也会用电脑教。
