At the beginning of this term, I made a plan for my study. Now, I find that I carry it out well in the past month. I was poor in Chinese and English last semester. The news that Mr Cai had passed away was known, and I fell into great

sorrow. The sound of the rain knocking on the window was so mournful that it

deepened my distress.

My memory brought me back to the class when I saw him for the last

time.

That evening it was raining, too. We started our lesson as usual at a

quarter past six. I sat in the first row, and I saw Mr Cai press his stomach

with a hand from time to time, but I didn’t know the reason then. The two hours

passed quickly. When the lesson came to an end,Mr Cai told us that he had

possibly developed a stomach cancer, and would go to Beijing to see a doctor. If

there was nothing serious, he would continue to teach us after he came back. He

was very calm and his voice was steady. He still gave us some homework. He said

that he would mark the papers as soon as he came back.

Then I started to wait for his return. I had not thought that I would not

see him any more. The cancer had taken his life, even though he was still

best students.” I think I should work hard at English and live up to his

expectation .

I have lost a good teacher. Tears will dry up in time, but the memory will

With the improvement of living conditions, more and more people can live

longer. However, many old people always suffer from loneliness, which is one of

the major problems in today’s society. To make the old people live better, some

Grace is one of my classmates. She is not good at study, though she usually works very hard. Maybe she just doesn’t find the learning method suitable for her. In my mind, she is clever. In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

If you come to Xi’an, you can’t miss the Terra Cotta Warriors. The Terra Cotta Warriors museum is in Lin Tong. It very special because it is one of the eigh wonders of the world.

If you go to Lintong and visit the Terra Cotta Warriors ,you cant’t miss the Qin Ling Mountain, also. You can see lots of plants and animals in the mountain. They are so beautiful.

If you have enough time, you can go to the Bell Tower, too .The Bell Tower have three floors. It is surrounded by the City Wall. There is a big bell in the tower. Walking down the sidewalk, you can see the Drum Tower and Muslim Street. On the Muslim Street, there are lots of delicious food, such as cold rice noodles, Chinese hamburgers ,

我绝不是严谨好强的类型。把钱丢了，伞忘食堂了等等都是我的“杰作”

我还有点小任性。有时我和妈妈赌气，妈妈不让我游泳，我便要游;妈妈让我擦桌我非要扫地。这只是我生气时的表现，平常还挺好。我一定会把这个毛病改掉。“己所不欲，勿施于人”嘛!

我的喜怒哀乐都表现在脸上、行动上。我觉得如果生气不发泄，藏着掖着会很难受的。我喜欢笑，我认为微笑是世界上最美的表情。如果只会笑，像木偶一样就不好了。但是多笑一笑终归没什么坏处。

我喜欢交朋友，因为我非常开朗，愿意和别人沟通。加上我的“疯”劲，我人缘还蛮好呢!

这就是我，一个长相平凡，内心却不平凡的我，喜欢交朋友的我，任性的我，幽默的我。我就是我，任何人无法代替的我。
