Education background

In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

从高一的生物课上获得了快乐与智慧，在生物竞赛课上由于自己的努力一直使自己名列前茅，终于在辛勤的努力后成为了生物竞赛学生负责人。但一切的一切都是过眼云烟，在生命的长河中似乎要与它分离。因为自己的物理不好，不敢选物理生物。最后独自一人选择了历史生物，我真的选成了，为了它我要跑班上课，但我为了它无怨无悔。我爱上了它，为了它奋斗了两年。在新篇章中我又一次谱写出了人生的辉煌！由于自己的才能我做了高二生物助教，在教与学中中使我不仅生物水平有了巨大的提高，并且赢来了老师同学的赞誉。在高二的生物学业水平测试中辅导了6位同学，有5位取得了A的成绩也是对自己能力的一种肯定。

这是多么的美好，可缤纷绚丽的肥皂泡总是转瞬即逝，我失败了。去年的生物竞赛没当真，没进复赛。而2009年的生物竞赛我以二中第一的成绩进入复赛，当时兴冲冲的到南大去学了几天生物。在那里我得到了平生未有过的打击，让我懂得了绝不要以为自己什么都知道，其实自己是无知的！但我知道挫折只会改变怯懦者的理想，却不会改变强者高挂于头顶的信仰。于是开始停课复习，但是天知道我为什么会在复赛考了那一点分数，估计决赛是进不去了。唉，我真的技止于此吗？

我哀伤，我彷徨，这两年来的努力换回了什么？在思考中，我想到了动物界的荆棘鸟，它为了让生命的一次绝响，在漫漫路途中寻找那一枝最长最大的荆棘，用其插入自己的身体。刹那间鲜血流遍了整片荆棘丛，悠扬婉转的曲调随风在飘散。它的生存为了自己实现自己的人生价值，我想人亦应如此。所以为了生物竞赛奋斗我无怨无悔！

竞赛并不是我生命的全部，从竞赛中获得的勇气与毅力才是我真正的，一辈子取之不尽用之不竭的财富。从现在开始让我唱，让我忘，让我在琥珀色的风中歌唱！用这份勇气与毅力唱出人生最动听的音乐！
