In fact, environmental pollution is a very serious problem the whole world is facing.

it is mainly caused by the waste products released from artificial substances, industrial

improve his way of life。 With the tools of technology he has altered many

physical features of the earth。 He has transformed woodlands and prairies into

Nothing is difficult if you put your heart into it. Nothing is easy if you

don’t try your best.

We often hear people say, “Never give up.” A person who believes in these

words will keep trying to pursue his goal no matter how many times he fails. In

my opinion, the quality of determination to succeed is an important one to have.

Therefore, I believe that we should never give up.

One reason is that if we give up easily, we will achieve nothing. It is not

unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something new, so we should not

feel discouraged. Besides, if we always give up when fail happens, we will can

not develop new skills. Finally, we should never give up because as we work to

reach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeed

in other areas of our lives.

Probably the greatest example of persistence is Abraham Lincoln. Born into

poverty, Lincoln was faced with defeat throughout his life. He lost eight

elections, twice failed in business and suffered a nervous breakdown. He could

As time goes by, man is making the earth sick. People cut down too many trees and leave rubbish everywhere. Factories let out their waste without doing anything to it . This has caused some serious problems. Such as the land is sandy, the river is dirty, the air is less clean, even the temperature of the earth is rising. What should we do to save the earth ? 这是人类与自然环境关系的两个方面。缺少一个会给人类带来灾难。那么人类是如何做到的呢？人类的生活条件在不断改善，对购物的需求也在增加。因此，一次性塑料袋被发明了。这样，虽然方便，但也使人们不得不面对一个更大的问题——“白色污染”。“白色污染”是指一次性塑料袋造成的环境污染。我记得当我年轻的时候，我在我的房子前面挖洞，挖洞的时候突然挖出了一个塑料袋。哦！下面还有很多东西。。。谁把他们埋在这里的？它似乎已经被埋了很久了。他们为什么还在这里这么久？事实证明，它们是不可降解的材料，至少需要200年才能分解。如果被烧了，它们会散发出有毒的气味。此外，一次性塑料袋的处理成本高，再利用价值低。然而，我们周围仍然有人为了方便而使用一次性塑料袋，一旦用完就扔掉。他们从没想到这些一次性塑料袋会带来很多麻烦：它们很难处理，而且乱七八糟地堆积在一起。人们很难不使用一次性塑料袋吗？你去购物的时候不能带个大包吗？一个大布袋有很多东西，可以重复使用。一举两得多好啊！据统计，超过80%的人使用一次性塑料袋。你想在地球周围挖洞，做塑料袋吗？你当然不知道。不使用塑料袋是为了别人，也是为了你自己。另一个原因是人们对环境的危险知之甚少。几天前，当我在学校的时候，我在社区的垃圾桶前看到一个香蕉皮。垃圾箱就在前面。为什么不把它扔进垃圾箱呢？就一步之遥，为什么？是因为懒惰吗？你想试试你的“射击”准确度吗？这种香蕉皮反映了一个人对环境的责任。是责任还是盲目？我走过去抱起他，心里想：为什么香蕉削皮器没有把它扔进垃圾箱？似乎有些人仍然对环境问题漠不关心。我决心调查看看谁是如此不道德的人。所以只要我没事，我就靠在阳台上往下看。

这个结果更让我吃惊：当我正在看的时候，一个香蕉皮突然飞出，被扔在垃圾箱旁边。起初，我以为人们走过去扔了它，但它被随意扔进了垃圾箱。这比我预料的更糟。很遗憾我没有看到哪一个，但是我心里很生气：即使这是你自己的社区，也不能是这样的！再说，这还是每个人的社区！从以上两个例子可以看出，有些人对环境的现状一无所知。虽然有句谚语说“不知者无罪”，但他们应该始终有一点环保意识。不要说你必须在全省范围内做这件事，但至少你必须从自己做起，从每一点做起。我们周围有许多人利用环境影响他人。请不要忽视它。你主动改善环境，帮助自己。因为你也生活在这种环境中，其他人也是如此，所以你所做的事与他人相关。让这个环境更好地为人民服务。

小草没有花儿妩媚多姿;没有露珠那样晶莹剔透;没有雪花那样洁白如玉。它有的只是傲视狂风暴雨的勇气和扎根泥层的奉献精神。

当春姑娘姗姗来迟的时候，万紫千红的花儿园中翘首;深树中的黄鹂无羁高歌……而人们却忘了绿遍山野的小草。它默默无闻地站在绿化建设的第一线，没有树高，没有花香。手挽手，迎风而立，为大地铺成一条无边无际的绿毯。一棵棵小草，是一个绿色精灵，心甘情愿地任人民临身而踏，不发一句呻吟，不作一点抱怨。漫漫长夜里，不求了解;未知日子里，不求回报，它只是在墙角呼唤着人类那颗已昏睡的心：请给天空一片蔚蓝;请给夏夜一阵蛙鸣;请给森林一曲鸟歌吧……

捍卫小草，给饱受践踏的草儿一块平安地，给饱受烈日的小草一地雨水，让鸟儿的歌声为小草作伴，让鱼儿的龙门之舞为小草喝彩!

狂风暴雨来袭时，小草就像是在为大地而歌，为天空而舞。暴风显然是来者不善，它还痴心妄想将草儿连根拔起。其实纤身细腰的小草早已在这场生死搏斗前备战已久;因为它时刻牢记着大地交给它的绿色任务。小草迎着风雨，忽而昂首挺胸，忽而摇摇摆摆，有如醉酒欢歌，随即大地上奏演了一场“劲草斗疾风”的赞歌。狂风暴雨退步而下，甘拜下风。雨后彩虹焕发七彩光芒把小草身上的“珍珠”折射得更加璀璨……

小草的生命虽然风雨重重，但它，仍义无返顾地为人类制造绿的清新，我们又有什么理由不去捍卫这样一个伟大而又无私的绿色生命呢?

捍卫小草!让秋天的大地依旧生机勃勃，让蜂影蝶姿为小草装饰，和风细雨为小草飘扬。让我们在时间与空间的地域建立起一座不灭的绿桥。

捍卫小草!让整个生命的原野都奏起绿色羌笛，来呼唤那已逝去的灵魂，让那被利益所羁绊得戛然而止的脚步步调一致，共同开发一条新绿之路!

捍卫小草!让我们携起手来，撒出更多的绿芽儿，融化干涸的大漠，开始我们最伟大的绿色征途。

看着现在的地球，我不禁想问：“现在的地球怎么了?从前那个披着绿色的外套的地球到哪去了?”地球上的绿色大量的减少，森林大量的减少;黄色却不断的增多，土地也开始大面积的沙漠化。 Looking at the current earth, I cant help but want to ask, "What happened to the earth now? Where did the earth wearing a green jacket go?" On the earth? "A large number of greens are reduced, a large number of forests are reduced; yellow is continuously increased, and land has begun to have a large area of desertification.

再看一看热闹的都市，垃圾遍地，空气中布满了细菌。一条条曾经清澈的小河也已不复存在，现在的小河，不知布满了多少垃圾，s甚至还有人把工业废水倒进了河中，现在的小河，河面上飘满了白色垃圾，原本清澈的水已经变成了污水，散发出阵阵恶臭，过往的行人都捂着鼻子逃开了。试想，在这样的水中，鱼儿怎么还能生活?人怎么还能喝这样的污水?

现在的工厂，只为了提高自己的效率，只为了让自己获益更大，几把工业废水排到了小河中，把毒气当普通烟雾一样，从烟囱排了出去，要知道，这些毒气不被人吸进去，就会污染大面积的空气，被人吸进去则会严重影响人的肺功能，使人呼吸困难。可以说是两者都有害。

森林，地球的肺，为人类带来的好处不计其数：防洪、放沙暴、过滤空气等等等等，数不胜数。可现在呢?森林正在以每分钟38公顷的速度大面积减少，没有了森林，我们的地球就好象少了一根支柱，地球就好象开始摇摇欲坠起来。

面对这样的地球，我们能怎么做?我们应该怎么做?

首先应该从根本上做起，从我们力所能及的事情做起：节约用水，争取少污染水，拒绝食用野生动物……如果说全国每个人在每次用水后都关上水龙头，那么，一天下来，我们可以省19个水缸的水。如果我们多用肥皂，少用洗洁精，有许许多多的水避免受到污染。我曾见过这样一条宣传标语：利用可再生资源—别等到能源耗竭的那一天!的确，人类目前使用的能源90%是石油、天然气和煤。

这些燃料的形成过程需要亿万年，是不可再生的资源。太阳能、风能、潮汐能、地热能则是可再生的，被称为可再生能源。人们把那些不污染环境的能源称为“清洁能源”。使用清洁能源就能避免污染了。像今年国家很提倡的“支持绿色照明——人人都用节能灯”就是一个很好的例子：“中国绿色照明工程”是我国节能重点之一。按照该工程实施计划，“九五”期间全国将推广节能高效照明灯具。到2000年争取节约照明用电220亿千瓦时，并节省相应的电厂燃煤，减少二氧化硫、氮氧化物、粉尘、灰渣及二氧化碳的排放。

诸如此类，像这样的事我们还能做很多，就让我们一起为环保努力吧!
