但是我痴迷于围棋，我记得在一次比赛中获省三等奖，对我鼓励很大，从此以后我便如饥似渴学习围棋，只要有空我便在网上下棋，一下就是几个小时，有时连饭都不吃，真是到了废寝忘食地步，家里人都称我是“棋迷。”老师布置的围棋作业，我都会很认真去完成，有时一道题我就是想不出做不来，为了追求正确，我跑到好远的小区找老师请教，直到弄懂。我有股牛劲，就是不弄懂决不罢休的精神，所以在围棋上进步很快，今年我升为一段。
